The walls are closing in on Trump
Never-Trump Republican presidential candidate John Anthony Castro, who dedicated his money to using legal weapons to keep Trump off the ballot, warned that the “walls are closing in” on the former president.
Castro took legal matters to challenge Trump’s candidacy in Wyoming, Utah, Oklahoma, North Carolina, West Virginia, Montana, Kansas, and Idaho by having Trump removed from the ballot in those states.
Watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics (CREW) filed suit after Castro. CREW’s lawsuit is one of many citing that Trump should be kicked off the ballot over the Constitution’s 14th Amendment section 3, which prohibits any person who “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” after taking an oath of office from running for office again. CREW filed in Colorado, but the filings are spreading nationwide.
We say, "That's a good start. Now let's get Trump's name off the ballot in the remaining 42 states."

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, referring to Trump in yesterday's second Republican presidential debate, said "Donald Duck is afraid to debate." Christie laid into Trump, looking directly into the camera and said: "Donald, I know you’re watching. You can’t help yourself. You’re ducking these things. And let me tell you what’s going to happen. You keep doing that, no one here’s going to call you Donald Trump anymore. We’re going to call you Donald Duck." Christie continued, saying, “This guy has not only divided our party — he’s divided families all over this country. He’s divided friends all over this country. He needs to be voted off the island and he needs to be taken out of this process.”
Trump, responding to heated criticisms from his primary opponents during the debate, said it was more important for him to work to "save" autoworkers Wednesday night than to appear at the debate due to his massive lead in the primary polls. Trump wasn't "saving" autoworkers; he was hiding from his opponents, any of whom would have ripped him to shreds in the debate.

Trump is a certifiable FRAUD!
CNN has reported that New York Judge Arthur Engoron found Trump and his adult sons liable for fraud and canceled the Trump Organization’s business certification, saying the Trumps provided false financial statements for roughly a decade and repeatedly engaged in fraud.
The decision is a blow to Trump and is a complete rejection of his arguments that he didn’t inflate the values of his golf courses, hotels, homes at Mar-a-Lago and Seven Springs on financial statements that were repeatedly used in business.
The judge canceled the business certifications of the Trump entities that are defendants in the case, including the Trump Organization, and said a receiver will be put in place to “manage the dissolution” of the corporate entities.
Trump inflated the value of his triplex apartment at Trump Tower by three times its size, resulting in an overvaluation of between $114 million to $207 million. “A discrepancy of this order of magnitude, by a real estate developer sizing up his own living space of decades, can only be considered fraud,” Judge Engoron wrote.
New York Attorney General Letitia James said that Trump, three of his children, his companies and his business executives defrauded lenders, insurers and other entities, and that Trump reaped a “substantial” financial benefit by putting forward faulty information in his financial statements, including $150 million in the form of favorable interest rates he obtained from the banks that the attorney general said his team misled.
It's time to convict this liar, cheat, and fraud in court, and then to prosecute him to the full extent of the law.

Reuters reported that Citizen Trump has now pushed back at U.S. prosecutors' request to curb some of his public statements about people involved in the federal court case accusing him of attempting to subvert the results of the 2020 presidential election, opposing the request from Special Counsel Jack Smith for a court order limiting his out-of-court statements about potential witnesses in the case and barring disparaging or intimidating remarks about the judge, prosecutors and potential jurors.
Jack Smith, the prosecutor in the case, said in a court filing this month that Trump threatened to undermine public confidence in the case and influence potential jurors with “near daily” social media attacks on prosecutors, U.S. Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is presiding over the case, and residents of Washington, D.C. who will serve as jurors.
Trump thinks he's really special. He's not. Trump is a pig who needs to have his filthy mouth washed out with soap and water and then duct-taped shut if he won't comply with the judge's order like every other defendant is expected to do.
Trump has a history of inciting his ignorant supporters to harass and threaten people he singles out for public criticism. The walls are closing in on removing this incompetent traitor from the ballot.

Jamie Raskin tries to educate Trump
Jamie Raskin, law professor and Democratic representative from Maryland, reported on MSNBC's Morning Joe that a government shutdown could end the careers of Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Raskin said that Trump is attempting to call the shots and wants the government shut down. He said that Trump “thinks he can shut down his indictments and the works of the special counsel and the Department of Justice and the federal courts by getting Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene and three other members of the ‘MAGA caucus’ to derail the House and shut down the Government of the United States.”
However, Trump is too stupid. Raskin explained, “He’s badly mistaken because the attorney general, Jack Smith, the prosecutors are funded by a continuing indefinite appropriation to the Department of Justice. They’re exempted because the attorney general is a presidential appointee, and the federal courts themselves are open for business for criminal trials because they relate to the protection of life, property, and public safety.” So Raskin concluded that Trump is trying “to shut down all the rest of the US government in order to blockade his prosecutions, but it’s not even going to work.”
Raskin said, “Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz, who wants to run for governor of Florida, according to all the Republicans I serve with, should figure out right now they’re just going to end their political careers by shutting down the government for no reason.”

On Friday, Denver District Court Judge Sarah B. Wallace issued a gag order against Trump and his lawyers in connection with a disqualification lawsuit filed against him under the 14th Amendment, Section 3. Judge Wallace also set a trial date for October 30, which is scheduled for five days.
Lawyers for the petitioners argued that Trump’s behavior posed a threat to the orderly administration of justice and placed the parties in danger.
Predictably, Trump’s lawyers opposed the gag order, but the court sided with the petitioners and granted the gag order request.
The gag order expressly prohibits any party from engaging in threats, intimidation, harassment, or conduct that would otherwise adversely harm another party, witness, or the administration of justice.

Citizen Trump orders GOP to shut down the government

We need to get rid of the Republican Party
Under Trump, the Republican Party has morphed into a fringe group of far right radicals. According to Robert B. Reich, former U.S. Secretary of Labor and professor of public policy at the University of California at Berkeley, "The Putin wing of the Republican Party has taken over the Republican Party. The GOP no longer believes in the values of liberal democracy. It has become a cesspool of authoritarian nihilism."
Mitt Romney told the Atlantic’s McKay Coppins, “a very large portion of my party really doesn’t believe in the Constitution.” And knowing that most of the American public rejects it, the Republican party is busily repressing votes through extreme partisan gerrymandering and new barriers to voting.
Most Republican lawmakers continue to support Trump's "Big Lie" even though there is no factual basis to support it, and the fact that all of Trump's lawsuits regarding election fraud were either dismissed or overturned by the courts.
The GOP engaged in authoritarian antics before Trump, but Trump has pushed the Party over the edge, morally and politically.
According to Reich, Trump has so profoundly poisoned the Republican Party — filling it with election deniers, bigots, paranoids, and anti-democracy zealots — that it won’t recover its capacity to govern even after Trump leaves the stage.
America needs a third party that stands for all the things conservative Republicans stood for before Trump — limited government, fiscal prudence, a strong defense against dictators and autocrats, and the stability and integrity of the nation’s major institutions. Reich said that a new Republican Party would be "good for Republicans, good for Democrats, good for democracy, good for America."

No Credibility and Layers upon Layers of LIES!
There simply wasn't adequate time to fact-check Trump's layers upon layers of lies during his interview with Kristen Welker on Meet The Press. Trump is a rapid-fire lie machine.
Trump used his typical style of attempting to defeat one’s opponent by burying them in a torrent of incorrect, irrelevant, or idiotic arguments. Trump uses a "tone" that makes him sound like a reasonable man, while saying "insane" things. It's a technique meant to confuse the listener, and since he has no credibility, Trump's an expert at it. When Trump answers a question, he tells 20 lies in the process and you can't stop each of those 20 lies to get to the answer of the original question.
"His whole 'reality' is layers upon layers of lies. It's honestly a waste of time," said American scholar of rhetoric, Jennifer Mercieca, professor of communication at Texas A&M University. "He lives in a very dark fantasy world. So does the whole right-wing media audience. It's a real shame."
CNN's Daniel Dale fact-checked Trump's interview and said it was "filled with false claims." Not surprising, considering that Trump is an incessant liar.
Another technique Trump and his supporters constantly use is to loudly talk over the questioner to avoid answering the question. Ignorant MAGA Maggots (aka Trump supporters) are experts at this technique.
It's well known that “One bad apple can spoil the entire bunch." There is no better example than Trump, who has taught his entire Republican party how to lie and cheat, and to have no moral compass or accountability.

Did you take the time to watch 'Meet the Press' this morning where Trump lied his way through Kristen Welker's interview and flunked the fact-checking? Trump lied, he interrupted, he evaded the questions, he demonstrated his low IQ and his mental dysfunctionality, and he revealed his stupidity and his guilt. It was so very obvious, and it was even reported as such during NBC's fact check during the broadcast and afterwards by Alternet and other web sites. The full panel's consensus on 'Meet the Press' was that Trump was 'defiant of facts,' like a 'bulldozer shoveling falsehoods.' Let's translate that: Trump was shoveling shit!
NBC's fact-checking, as reported directly on the broadcast, proved Trump continued to lie! This pig has no business running for or holding any office in our land.

ABC News has reported that because Trump keeps running off his mouth, special counsel Jack Smith and his team have requested a federal judge in Washington, D.C., impose a "narrowly tailored" gag order restricting Trump from making public statements that they argue could "present a serious and substantial danger of prejudicing" his 2020 federal election interference case.
Smith's office accused Trump of engaging in a sweeping campaign of "disinformation" and harassment intended to intimidate witnesses, prosecutors and others involved in the case.
Smith's filing says, "Like his previous public disinformation campaign regarding the 2020 presidential election, the defendant's recent extrajudicial statements are intended to undermine public confidence in an institution -- the judicial system — and to undermine confidence in and intimidate individuals — the Court, the jury pool, witnesses, and prosecutors."

Slate has reported that federal courts in Georgia and Florida, state courts in New York and Georgia, and multiple appellate courts have all handed down rulings this week that demonstrate that judges from every jurisdiction and ideological bent have finally caught on to Trump’s favorite litigation tactic — delay, delay, delay — and that they are through with it. FINALLY!
The quick actions of these courts indicate that judges are well aware of, and unwilling to tolerate, Trump’s well-documented attempts to delay judicial proceedings against him.

Interestingly, NBC News stressed that the interview will be pre-taped, allowing the news outlet to fact-check Trump’s claims and put them in context. Raw Story has reported that Trump is attempting a legal gambit to help him wriggle out of the fraud lawsuit filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James, but experts are dubious that it will work.
This fool is arguing that his business deals deemed as fraudulent by Letitia James took place so long ago they've fallen outside the statute of limitations.
Last week Trump's lawyers tried to delay the trial, which is set to start Oct. 2, but the judge knocked that down in a nine-word order.

There was no 'election interference'
Mentally deficient and mentally dysfunctional Trump is now peddling "Big Lie Two." The lie is that the indictments against him represent a collective effort to stop him from running for president. Trump talks of this all the time; 'election interference' is the phrase he often uses. "They can't stop me legitimately," he says. "They know I won in 2020, and they know I'll win again, so this is how they're trying to block me."

This is what is true: Credible evidence has emerged on a number of fronts that Trump broke the law — that he absconded with boxes of sensitive, classified documents to Florida; that he approved a hush-money payment to a woman with whom he'd had sexual relations; that he tried to influence officials in Georgia to rig the 2020 election; and that he led or directed an insurrection against the government of the United States.
There is ample enough and credible evidence of guilt on these fronts for prosecutions to proceed against Trump, the four-time indicted LOSER.
Michael Tomasky, who reported on Trump in the New Republic, concluded, "If people can't see this utterly lawless man for who he is, or if they allow their cynicism about the system to overpower their distrust of him, then we will wake up next November 6 counting our brittle democracy’s numbered days."
Trump would like nothing more than to end American democracy and replace it with a strongman oligarchy along the lines of Putin’s Russia or Orbán’s Hungary. - "Everybody made money, so where's the harm?" This is Trump's "no victims, no harm, no foul" weak business-fraud defense.
- Trump used wildly-exaggerated financial statements of his assets net worth. Trump testified that he was "never very much into" what the statements said, "because I didn't think it meant anything." Trump will "play dumb" just like a possum "plays dead" when cornered.
- Trump spent much of his deposition arguing that, if anything, his properties are worth far more than he said, not far less, because of his name's "brand," and that his properties' valuations will "ultimately" be correct. He added that he "would have added maybe $10 billion or something for the brand." Snell, founder of MainStreet.law, said, "Trump can't just pull a number out of his ass and say it's true." Snell called Trump's logic "a laughably easy defense to dismiss."
- Trump will "give 'em the ol' razzle-dazzle." Trump spent a good part of his seven-hour deposition criticizing the Attorney General's case as "a shame, crazy, unfair, and a disgrace." Proud Boys (aka "Sissy Boys") leader Ethan Nordean was sentenced to 18 years in prison for seditious conspiracy, equaling the sentence handed down to Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes in May.
Dominic Pezzola, another member of the Proud Boys, convicted of felonies including obstructing an official proceeding and assaulting police, yelled, "Trump won!" as he left the courtroom after being sentenced to 10 years in prison.
These traitors got less prison time than they deserved. Prosecutors sought 27 years for Nordean and 20 years for Pezzola.
More than 1,100 people have been arrested on charges related to the Capitol assault. Of those, more than 630 have pleaded guilty and at least 110 have been convicted at trial. Five people, including a police officer, died during or shortly after Trump's Jan. 6th riot and more than 140 police officers were injured. The Capitol suffered millions of dollars in damage.

Trump Is Seriously Mentally Ill
The nation should demand a full-fledged psych evaluation from a panel of psychiatrists and psychologists. Trump undoubtedly belongs in an insane asylum, not in the White House.
In his latest rant on his failing social media network, Trump continued claiming he won the 2020 election and called for “Termination of All Rules, Regulations and Articles” in the Constitution.
Termination of all rules, regulations and articles? Trump is not mentally well.
Every 2020 election recount and every subsequent court case proved that President Joe Biden won and that Trump was the LOSER. Every one. Trump lost the popular vote (by over 7 million votes) and the Electoral College vote (306 to 232). There is no argument. Trump is a snake oil salesman and grifter who thinks that if he lies enough, those lies will somehow become the truth. They won't. Trump is a LOSER in politics, in business, and in life.
America cannot afford four more years of Trump, the mentally deficient madman, in the White House.
