This incompetent do-nothing has been nominated for an award
Representative Claudia Tenney, a Republican congresswoman and Trump ass-sniffer from New York, has nominated this incompetent do-nothing for an award. No, it's not the "Sexual Abuser of the Year" award, as it should be, but rather a Nobel Peace Prize, of all things. Donnie, for your benefit, that's a two syllable word that's pronounced "no bell."
Yes, we know, Tenney is nothing but a MAGA Maggot trying to get on Trump's good side in order to try to secure her reelection chances or to put her in a position for Trump to notice her so he can throw her a bone or a nomination for some other position.
Tenney said that Trump was instrumental in brokering the treaty signed in September 2020 between Israel and Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
Trump has been nominated for the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize three times in the past, but the awarding committee has rightfully turned him down each time. The winner of this year's Nobel Peace Prize will be announced in October, while Trump is embroiled in numerous lawsuits based on his being charged in 91 felonies.

Trump returned to the campaign trail the day after a jury of his peers awarded E. Jean Carroll $83.3 million in damages for being sexually assaulted and repeatedly defamed by Trump, the sexual abuser.
Avoiding his sexual abuse conviction, Trump then bragged that he "aced" a cognitive test, and that he comes from a lineage of smart people, citing an uncle, Dr. John Trump, who was a professor at MIT. "We have the same genes, we're smart people… We're like racehorses, too. You know, the fast ones produce the fast ones, and the slow ones - doesn't work out so well." He then added that the doctor told him the test is "a tough test" that included naming six items in order. Trump said that "only about two percent of this room could do, but I did it." He lamented that the media didn't cover the last question, which he claimed required him to do some math without a paper and pencil. Gee, 1+1=2. Congratulations, you did it, Donnie! You got one right.
Yeah, Trump was right when he said he's like a racehorse — he's full of shit. Trump is a morally defunct and mentally deficient LOSER. He knows it, his MAGA Maggots know it, and the world knows it.

Why isn't Trump locked up or dead yet?
Robert B. Reich, former U.S. Secretary of Labor and professor of public policy at the University of California at Berkeley, wrote a must-read article yesterday about surviving the next 280 days until the presidential election.
Reich begins with the truth that Trump is still not locked up, even though he incited an attack on the U.S. Capitol more than three years ago, which resulted in several deaths and could have cost the lives of many more, including members of Congress. Trump caused the insurrection to invalidate your legitimate vote and to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
Because mentally deficient Trump hasn’t stopped lying that the 2020 election was stolen from him, he's caused Americans to be more divided than at any time since the Civil War. Trump has turned the Republican party against democracy and toward neofascism.
Trump embodies moral squalor — being convicted in a civil trial to have sexually assaulted and repeatedly defamed an innocent woman, lying constantly about everything, claiming immigrants are “poisoning the blood” of America, calling for a “termination” of the Constitution, describing political opponents as “vermin,” and calling veterans "losers" and "suckers." Remember, this cowardice draft dodger with "bone spurs" never served himself and never had family who wore the uniform. The list goes on and on.
All good reasons to be outraged, and outrage is exhausting. But outrage can be a positive force if it fuels activism — if it gets people off their butts to do any number of things that individually don’t seem like much but taken together can have a big impact. Reich recommends:
- Become even more politically active.
- Start now to organize.
- Counter lies with truth.
- Do not tolerate bigotry and hate.
- Do not resort to name-calling, bullying, intimidation, violence, or any of the other tactics that Trump followers may be using.
- Be compassionate toward hardcore followers of Trump, but remain firm in your opposition.
- Do not waste your time complaining.
- Ask everyone you know to vote for Biden and not sit this election out or vote for a third-party candidate.
- Demonstrate, but do not confuse demonstration for political action.
- Do not get distracted by the latest outrageous Trump post or speech or story.

MAGA Maggots lining up
A shift in values is the cause of many of our dysfunctions. When a society affixes a higher value to status, money, power and dominance than to the Constitutional benchmarks on which our country was founded, it is bound to generate frustration between the "haves" and the "have nots." It is mathematically impossible for everyone to be number one. The more the economic elites and greedy politicians grab, the more everyone else must lose. In a culture that worships winners, financial and societal losers like Trump's MAGA Maggots (aka supporters) can only identify with a "perceived winner" like Trump, who has become their imaginary hero — even though in reality Trump is a liar, a cheat, a convicted sexual abuser, and a con artist who doesn't give a damn about any of them.
God help America if Trump should ever win again. Such a win would be the result of angry, twisted, and dysfunctional MAGA voters forgetting the values that were once embedded in the culture of the democracy instilled by our founding fathers. These ignorant and short-sighted voters think that Trump is going to take care of them. He's not. Trump is a malignant narcissist who looks out only for himself at the expense of everyone else. He has already shown over and over that he will throw his allies, friends, and family under the bus for his personal gain. Trump doesn't want to be president because he wants to do the job of president. He can't. He's unqualified. He's unfit. Trump only wants the power of the office in order to exact vengeance and retribution on those who won't bend over and kiss his ass, as well as to pardon himself of his traitorous crimes which are deserving of either imprisonment or execution under the guidelines of our Constitution.

Trump — The Scam Marketer and Con Artist
The Associated Press reported that within days, Trump could potentially have his sprawling real estate business empire ordered “dissolved” for repeated misrepresentations on financial statements to lenders.
"Dissolution" could include stripping Trump of not only of his New York holdings such as Trump Tower and his 40 Wall Street skyscraper, but his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, a Chicago hotel and condo building, and several golf clubs, including ones in Miami, Los Angeles and Scotland.
Judge Arthur Engoron has already ruled that Trump committed fraud by exaggerating the value of his real estate assets.
Trump exaggerated the size of his Manhattan penthouse apartment by three times. He listed unfinished buildings as if they were complete, and apartments under rent-control as if they were free of such rules. He showed restricted funds as if they were liquid cash. And he portrayed Mar-a-Lago as if it could be converted to a residence even though that is prohibited in its deed. Trump would be nothing if he wasn't a scam artist and a cheat.
Engoron said that by Jan. 31 he will issue a ruling that is expected to decide on the cash penalty and business ban and clarify his “dissolution” order.
“This is a basically a death penalty for a business,” said Columbia University law professor Eric Talley.
Trump is a fraud, a convicted sexual abuser, a liar, a tax cheat, and an insurrectionist, and yet incredibly ignorant, short-sighted and uneducated people continue to support him.

Add 'tax evasion' to the sexual abuser's list of crimes
The Daily Beast reported that former federal judge Barbara Jones, the court-appointed special monitor in Trump’s New York business fraud case, said Trump, the convicted sexual abuser, lied knowingly and repeatedly on his federal financial disclosures about a major loan that never existed — and may have evaded taxes on $48 million in income. Jones wrote that a massive chunk of debt Trump has claimed to owe one of his own companies for years apparently does not exist, and never did. It was another illegal scam initiated by Trump.
Amazingly, there are no loan agreements that memorialize the loan, but it was a loan between Trump, individually, and Chicago Unit Acquisition, referencing the name of Trump’s LLC that held his debt, for $48 million, said Jones.
Essentially this is an admission from the Trump Organization that all the financial disclosures Trump has filed with the federal government listed an entirely fictional debt worth tens of millions of dollars, which Trump claimed he personally owed to one of his own companies.
“While the reasons behind claiming this fake loan are still unknown, at the very least Trump misled the government for years about his finances,” said Jordan Libowitz, communications director at Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. “It appears that Trump knowingly and intentionally broke the law. The only question is how many laws.”
The Daily Beast consulted multiple tax experts to analyze the new revelation, and the verdict was that Trump created a fake loan to avoid income taxes.
“This explains why the Republicans have been so intent on cutting the IRS’s budget, because they don’t want it to be able to audit transactions like this,” said Martin Lobel, a prominent Washington, D.C., tax lawyer. “Documents don’t lie but people do,” said Martin Sheil, former special criminal investigative agent for the Internal Revenue Service.
This past Friday, Trump was ordered by the court to pay $83.3 million in damages for defaming and sexually assaulting E. Jean Carroll. Now he's trying to cheat his way out of paying taxes. Trump is trying to “denigrate the court system because that is where he is facing accountability," said Andrew Weissmann, a former DOJ prosecutor.
George Conway, a Never Trump conservative lawyer and legal expert, added that Trump “can’t control himself because he’s a deeply disturbed, a deeply morally bereft human being who has no conscience, has no morality, has no empathy, has no remorse, and is sadistic, as we saw during the trial and the jurors saw in the trial, right in front of their very eyes. What’s most disturbing about this is that so many people make this about politics. They want to support him for whatever reason or because they’ve done it in the past. And they pretend that [Trump] is not who he is.” New York University law professor Ryan Goodman said that a politician will pay a heavy price with voters for sexual assault.

Justice was served. Yesterday, a jury of his peers ordered Trump to pay $83.3 million in damages for defaming E. Jean Carroll. The new award dwarfs the $5 million that a different federal jury awarded to Carroll last year after finding Trump liable for sexually assaulting her in the 1990s and then defaming her when he denied it in 2022. The jury of seven men and two women reached its verdict after less than three hours of deliberation. This damage award undoubtedly makes Trump the #1 sexual abuser of all time. Ignorant Republicans don't seem to care — they have no problem continuing to support a convicted sexual abuser who "forcibly and without her consent" inserted his fingers into a woman, then later denied it while relentlessly defaming her.
In order to make a scene and in his adolescent and demented style of trying to "steal the show," Trump showed up late to the courtroom and then angrily stomped out before the jury awarded the damages.
Carroll said the verdict was “a great victory for every woman who stands up when she’s been knocked down, and a huge defeat for every bully who has tried to keep a woman down.”
Trump should be placed into the general population in Rikers Island — where he can get a first hand taste of the receiving end of sexual abuse — until he pays Carroll the full $83.3 million.

The third lawsuit could silence Trump. "It would give the court potential grounds to issue an injunction precluding Trump from speaking about the claims that can be subsequently enforced in contempt proceedings," said attorney Bryan M. Sullivan.
Trump was ordered to pay $5 million in damages after being found liable of the assault and defamation of E. Jean Carroll last year. Carroll has requested $10 million in her second lawsuit. If Carroll files a third defamation claim, it could be devastating to Trump — it could bankrupt him. Aw, too bad.

Trump, the incompetent LOSER, added $8.4 TRILLION to the national debt, the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB), a Washington think tank, found in a study released earlier this month.
Of the $8.4 trillion Trump added to the debt, $3.6 trillion came from COVID relief laws and executive orders, $2.5 trillion from tax cut laws, and $2.3 trillion from spending increases. Questions about the budgetary effects of Trump’s fiscal policies have been a point of debate during the ongoing Republican primary.

Saturday Night Live‘s first episode of the election year opened with James Austin Johnson's portrayal of Trump bragging that he's "more cognitive than ever," and that his campaign has "seen a lot of success with saying things that did not happen."
"As you can see, I am doing very well cognitively. Doing great with cognitive. I think I'm doing great with cognitive. I'm more cognitive than ever," Johnson went on, a day after Trump — who keeps bringing up how he "aced" a cognitive test — confused Nikki Haley for Nancy Pelosi at a campaign stop in New Hampshire.
In reality, Trump is in mental decline. This sexual abuser, coward, and loser is unfit to hold any office in the land.

Trump is showing signs of serious mental decline
Trump is a FAKE. He's made up of nothing but lies on top of lies. On Thursday, Trump was giving a speech in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, when he became disoriented and made incoherent remarks, losing track of what he was talking about. Trump is in serious physical and cognitive decline.
In his speech, Trump rambled, saying, “From your — you know, your political beliefs, what they do. They want to de-bank you, and we’re going to de-bank — think of this. They want to take away your rights. They want to take away your country. The things they’re doing, all-electric cars. Give me a break.”
In the same speech, Trump said, “I think, cognitively, I’m better than I was 20 years ago. I don’t know why.” Right before losing his train of thought, Trump bragged about “acing” a test that can detect the early signs of dementia. People in cognitive decline don't need to attempt to brag about their cognitive ability in the same speech.
In November, Trump released a vague health report that included no important specifics — like his weight, blood pressure, or prescriptions he was taking — but did assert that “his cognitive exams were exceptional.”
The evidence suggests otherwise.
“Trump is falling apart physically and cognitively,” one user commented under a video of Trump’s ramble. “He sounds like a wannabe comic at a 2AM open mic, with an audience of six passed out drunks,” wrote another.
In our opinion, both Trump and Biden are too old for the presidency. The citizens of this nation deserve to have both Trump and Biden go through a battery of psychological and cognitive tests by a qualified, independent medical facility, not one where either can control the results of what is revealed about their cognitive ability. This is the least we can expect about someone who would have our nation's nuclear codes.

Another Republican House member is leaving
Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.) said he "will not seek re-election" in the House of Representatives. Duncan was first elected to the House in 2010.
The 118th Congress is seeing an unprecedented number of retirements and resignations, with lawmakers citing burnout, dysfunction and the long-term degradation of the institution. Seven senators and 31 House members in total have announced they'll be leaving.
Apart from Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.), all of the House GOP departures are from reliably red districts.
"It's no wonder Republicans are running for the retirement exits given the chaos and dysfunction dominating their caucus," said Viet Shelton, a spokesperson for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Some of the reasons cited for members of Congress leaving are a divided nation, bitter partisanship, performance politics, and no desire in governing — all fallout from the incompetence of Trump. "The norms are gone. Any kind of respect for the institution is gone. Any kind of obligation to be truthful is the exception under GOP control," said Rep. Dan Kildee (D-Mich.).
These are just a few examples of how Trump has ruined the nation, infusing his demented and twisted sense of reality and his lack of any moral compass into the fabric of politics.

The Messenger reported that actor John Cusack said, "We have Nazis running for office" in the United States, and he's absolutely correct. "The ghouls feel like they can come out," the actor wrote, attributing a reported hate crime in Philadelphia to the state of US politics.

Trump led the Iowa caucus where 63% of the caucus voters in the state's entrance poll said they’d consider him fit for office even if he were hypothetically convicted of a crime. This is representative of how ignorant Trump's MAGA Maggots really are.
Trump did best among less-educated voters, winning 65% of those without a college degree. Trump spoke after the caucus in his pre-pubescent vocabulary.
Trump is expected in court today to face another legal challenge: a trial to determine how much more he owes the writer E. Jean Carroll for denying that he sexually assaulted her in the 1990s and accusing her of lying about her claims. This sexual abuser maintains that he doesn't know Carroll and that he never met her at the Bergdorf Goodman store in midtown Manhattan in the spring oof 1996. Over two dozen women have accused this pig of sexual abuse. Trump belongs in a cage, not on the ballot.
In other news, Trump lost three more of his ambulance-chasing lawyers in just one day yesterday. Joseph Tacopina, Chad Seigel, and Matthew DeOreo withdrew their services as cases against Trump loom.

Trump is a Disaster for America
CNN reported that it’s not just Democrats and Independents who are sounding the alarm. A truly stunning number of former Cabinet-level Trump administration officials are trying to warn Republican primary voters that Trump's reelection would be a disaster for our country. Take them seriously.
There is no precedent for two dozen former White House officials coming out so strongly against the fundamental fitness of the man they served with on a day-to-day basis.
“Anyone who puts himself over the Constitution should never be president of the United States. … President Trump demanded that I choose between him and the Constitution,” said former Vice President Mike Pence.
“Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people — does not even pretend to try. Instead, he tries to divide us,” said General James Mattis. “He is more dangerous than anyone could ever imagine.”
General John Kelly, Trump's former chief of staff and homeland security secretary, described Trump as “a person that has no idea what America stands for and has no idea what America is all about … A person who admires autocrats and murderous dictators. A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law.”
Bill Barr, Trump's second attorney general, said, "Trump is a consummate narcissist. And he constantly engages in reckless conduct. … He will always put his own interests, and gratifying his own ego, ahead of everything else, including the country’s interest.”
Retired Lt. Gen. HR McMaster, one of Trump's national security advisers, said, “President Trump and other officials have repeatedly compromised our principles in pursuit of partisan advantage and personal gain.”
John Bolton, another of Trump's national security advisors, said, “I have been in those rooms with him when he met with those [world] leaders, I believe they think he’s a laughing fool. And the idea that somehow his presence in office would have deterred Putin is flatly wrong … He’s not fit to be president.”
Mark Esper, Trump's former defense secretary, said, “He puts himself before country. His actions are all about him and not about the country.”
"A second Trump term could mean the end of American democracy as we know it,” said senior Trump White House staffer Alyssa Farah Griffin.
These were all members of Trump's own inner circle — the people who knew him best. So, as CNN recommends, take those quotes in. Read them aloud. Share them with friends, family and neighbors who might be tempted to go along with the ignorant MAGA crowd and vote for Trump.
The vast majority of Republican elected officials who have scrambled to endorse Trump are motivated by cowardice and careerism — fear and greed. They are afraid of the MAGA base because of closed partisan primaries and want to hold on to their jobs. But in private, many recognize the base is being played for fools by Trump.
Trump is a threat to the republic, an impulsive liar who cares who about himself far more than the Constitution or the country.
Former Vice President Dick Cheney said, “In our nation's 246-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump.”
Trump is a traitor to America and should either be imprisoned or executed for his crimes.

During Trump's presidency, there were two major incidents tied to Islamist militants that resulted in fatalities:
- December 6, 2019 — A member of the Saudi Air Force, identified as Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, opened fire on a classroom in the Naval Air Base in Pensacola, Florida, United States. Four people, including the assailant, were killed and eight others were injured in the attack. Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) claimed responsibility for the incident.
- December 17, 2017 — An assailant driving a Home Depot rental truck entered a bike path in an attempt to run over civilians on the West Side Highway in Lower Manhattan, New York City, United States. Following the initial attack, the assailant exited the vehicle and was shot by a police officer after displaying imitation firearms. At least eight people, including two citizens from the United States, five Argentinian tourists, and one Belgian tourist, were killed and 13 other people, including the assailant, were injured in the attack.

At least 65 active duty troops died in hostile action in Trump’s presidency as he ramped up commitments in Iraq and Syria to fight the ISIS terrorist group while also launching airstrikes on Syria as punishment for a chemical weapons attack.
Trump has a poor memory. There were jihadi-inspired terrorist attacks in the United States during his presidency, as he himself noted at the time. Democratic President Jimmy Carter is the only president not to have had any wars on his watch.

You only need immunity when you're guilty, Little Donnie!
MSNBC reported that as part of his defense, Trump and his lawyers have argued that he enjoys near-complete immunity from crimes he might’ve committed during his White House tenure. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit took up the question this week. Judge Florence Pan asked, “I understand your position to be that a president is immune from criminal prosecution for any official act that he takes as president even if that action is taken for an unlawful or unconstitutional purpose. Is that correct?”
Judge Karen Henderson, the sole Republican appointee on the panel, cited another part of the Constitution, a provision that requires the president to ensure that laws are faithfully executed. “I think it’s paradoxical to say that his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed allows him to violate criminal law,” she said.
Judge Michelle Childs, the third judge on the panel, mentioned that President Richard Nixon was pardoned upon leaving office as a data point suggesting that no one has ever assumed presidents are immune from prosecution after they leave office, whether or not they have been convicted in impeachment proceedings.

Florida's surgeon general, Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo, is an anti-vaccine quack posing a danger to residents of his home state.
Ladapo has moved from promoting useless treatments for COVID-19, such as the drugs hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, to waging an ever-expanding fact-free campaign against the leading COVID vaccines, and non-thinking citizens are believing Ladapo's bullshit. Most recently, Ladapo is declaring the vaccines "not appropriate for use in human beings."
Ladapo has zero credibility within the medical establishment. Last January, a faculty committee at the University of Florida medical school found that Ladapo engaged in “careless, irregular and contentious" research practices that may have violated university rules. The Food and Drug Administration has been pushing back against Ladapo's fire hose of misinformation and disinformation for the better part of a year.
Ladapo's words and actions have surely contributed to his state's pathetic performance in getting its citizens vaccinated against COVID. Among those 65 and older — purportedly the population that Florida strives to protect — only 31.2% were fully vaccinated. Florida's death rate from COVID of 375 per 100,000 people is among the worst in the country.

ABC News reported that the January 6 panel revealed how Trump was slow to take action during the Capitol riot and that Trump was reluctant to calm his protesters. A former top Trump aide, not Trump, was the one who had to write and post tweets on Trump's social media account urging his protestors to remain peaceful while Trump himself watched rioters storm the Capitol on television on January 6, 2021. Instead of calling in additional law enforcement to stop rioters during the first few hours of the Capitol breach, Trump spent much of his time watching television or making calls to his attorney and Republican allies.

Eighty-one percent of Democrats believe states should disqualify Trump from presidential ballots, according to a new CBS News/YouGov poll.
Both Colorado and Maine have disqualified Trump from their respective primary ballots because his actions in the wake of the 2020 election violated Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which forbids individuals who have “engaged in insurrection” from seeking federal office.
Maine secretary of state Shenna Bellows ruled last month that Trump is disqualified from Maine’s ballot in response to three legal challenges against Trump’s ballot eligibility in the state. “The events of January 6, 2021 were unprecedented and tragic,” Bellows wrote in her 34-page decision. “They were an attack not only upon the Capitol and government officials, but also an attack on the rule of law. The evidence here demonstrates that they occurred at the behest of, and with the knowledge and support of, Trump. The U.S. Constitution does not tolerate an assault on the foundations of our government, and [Maine law] requires me to act in response.”
Trump’s appearance on the ballot is facing lawsuits in at least 13 states, including Texas, Nevada, and Wisconsin.

Asshole Trump refuses to sign customary pledge against overthrowing the government
Radio station WBEZ and the Chicago Sun-Times have reported that Trump, the traitorous insurrectionist, has refused to sign an optional, but customary, oath that he will not "advocate the overthrow of the government" ahead of the 2024 election.
During Trump's bid for president in 2016 and again in 2020, the MAGA Maggot leader signed a loyalty oath document and submitted it to Illinois election authorities. However, this time around, Trump did not sign the document. The oath, which political candidates in Illinois have been signing for over 50 years comes from a Cold-Era law that was made non-mandatory in the 1970s.
The oath is a pledge of allegiance to the U.S. government and state of Illinois. It is a tradition when presidential candidates turn in their nominating petitions to the Illinois State Board of Elections for the state's primary held on March 19.
In part of the oath, candidates swear that they "do not directly or indirectly teach or advocate the overthrow of the government of the United States or of this state or any unlawful change in the form of the governments thereof by force or any unlawful means."
Legitimate candidates, like President Biden, signed the oath and said, "I said Donald Trump is willing to sacrifice our democracy to put himself in power. I wasn't exaggerating."
Democratic Illinois Governor JB Pritzker wrote on X on Saturday, "Pledging not to overthrow our democracy is a hard thing to do when you've already attempted it once."

Attorney General Letitia James calls for $370M fine against Trump
NBC News reported that NY Attorney General Letitia James has called for a $370 million fine against Trump and his companies, as well as a lifetime ban from the real estate industry in New York.

The Attorney General said that Trump owes $168 million of interest allegedly saved through fraud; $152 million from the sale of the Old Post Office building in Washington, D.C., the site of one of Trump's hotels; $60 million through the transfer of the Ferry Point Golf Course contract; and $2.5 million from severance agreements for former Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Howard Weisselberg and ex-Trump Organization controller Jeff McConney.
The attorney general also asked for five-year bans for Trump's eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, with the same conditions.
We think Trump should be forced to pay the entirety of the $370M fine and then he should be deported to one of his two favorite countries — China or North Korea.

Trump illegally received $millions from foreign governments while president
The New York Times reported that Trump’s businesses received at least $7.8 million from 20 foreign governments during his presidency. This is illegal. The Constitution prohibits federal officeholders from accepting money, payments or gifts “of any kind whatever” from foreign governments and monarchs unless they obtain “the consent of the Congress” to do so. The report notes that Trump never went to Congress to seek consent.
”By elevating his personal financial interests and the policy priorities of corrupt foreign powers over the American public interest, former President Trump violated both the clear commands of the Constitution and the careful precedent set and observed by every previous commander in chief,” Representative Jamie Raskin of Maryland, the top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, wrote in a foreword to the report.
China made the largest total payment — $5.5 million — to Trump's business interests. Saudi Arabia was the second-largest spender.

Our government legislators are just as stupid. The gross US national debt surpassed $34 TRILLION earlier this week for the first time, according to a Treasury Department announcement Tuesday. And what are they doing about it? Nothing. Both political parties are too busy infighting.
The federal government will pay roughly $800 BILLION to service its debt this year amid higher interest rates — equal to approximately 18% of federal revenues. US debt is currently approximately 123% of its gross domestic product, one of the highest in the world. A congressional limit on federal debt was suspended this past June until January of 2025, so our legislators can continue to spend like a bunch of drunken sailors while they do nothing to correct the problem, but when they finally get around to addressing the issues, you can be assured they will want to 'steal' from places like Medicare and Social Security.
Members of the House and Senate should be active guardians of public programs like Medicare and Social Security instead of worrying about kissing Trump's ass to protect their reelection chances.

Ken Block's company, Simpatico Software Systems, was hired by Trump to prove election fraud.
“I am the expert who was hired by the Trump campaign,” Block wrote. "The findings of my company’s in-depth analysis show that the campaign found no evidence of voter fraud sufficient to change the outcome of any election." Trump's claims of voter fraud have no foundation in the truth.

Block then went on to blast the “steady diet of lies and innuendo” that Trump has continuously relied on to “overcome the truth.” "The cries that the election was lost or stolen due to voter fraud continue with no sign of stopping,” Block wrote. Block said all of his findings have been handed over to special counsel Jack Smith and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who have indicted Trump and others on charges related to attempts to subvert the election.
