Trump’s Reelection Playbook

Trump will do anything to get re-elected. His opponents are limited because they believe in democracy. Trump has no limits because he doesn’t believe in or care about democracy.

Don't ever forget, folks, the following facts that we all know for certain:

• Trump cares only about himself.
• Trump is utterly incapable of remorse. He is a malignant narcissist and a serial liar who is mentally unfit, as well as America's #1 LOSER of all time.

The Guardian has posted Trump’s re-election playbook. Read the beady-eyed bastard’s 25 steps:

• Declare yourself above the law.
• Use racist fearmongering.
• Appoint an attorney general more loyal to you than to America, and politicize the Department of Justice so it’s lenient on your loyalists and comes down hard on your enemies.
• Fire US attorneys who are investigating you.
• Fire independent inspectors general who are looking into what you’ve done.
• Demean and ignore the intelligence community.
• Pack the federal courts with judges and justices more loyal to you than to the Constitution.
• Politicize the Department of Defense so generals will back whatever you order.
• Purge your party of anyone disloyal to you and turn it into a mindless, brainless, spineless cult made up of ass-sniffing followers.
• Get rid of accumulated experience and expertise in government.
• Reward donors and cronies with bailouts, tax breaks, subsidies, government contracts, regulatory rollbacks and plum jobs.
• Coddle fellow dictators.
• Create scapegoats. Demonize migrants and lock up asylum seekers at the border.
• Denigrate and ridicule all critics.
• Without any evidence, conjure up conspiracies supposedly led by your predecessor and your opponent in the last election.
• Downplay real threats to the nation, such as a rapidly spreading pandemic, and lie about your utter failure to contain it.
• Encourage armed supporters to “liberate” states from elected officials who disagree with you.
• Bribe other nations to investigate your electoral opponent.
• Use rightwing propaganda machines like Fox News and conspiracy-theory-peddling One America News to inundate the country with your lies.
• Suppress the votes of people likely to vote against you and intimidate voters of color.
• Seek to prevent mail-in ballots, claiming they will cause voter fraud, without any evidence. Threaten to close the US postal service.
• Get Vladimir Putin to hack into US election machines.
• If it still looks like you’ll be voted out, try to postpone the election.
• If you’re voted out of office notwithstanding all this, refuse to leave.
• Declare victory, even though you’re a pathetic LOSER.

Beware of Trump’s playbook. Trump is nothing but a twice-impeached, malignant narcissist and insurrectionist — a traitor to the United States of America and a fascist pig. He deliberately undermined the COVID response for his own political gain. Trump belongs locked up in a small cage for the rest of his life, never again able to hold any office in the land.

All Americans must do everything within our power to eliminate the threat of Trump and his cronies in every elected office in our land. They are a virulent cancer spreading across our country.
