Is Four Years of Ass-Kissing Worth It?
The richest billionaires in America have sold their souls and are kissing the ass of Trump, a losing traitor who has less than four years left in office.
Robert Reich, professor, writer, and former Secretary of Labor, posted an interesting article on substack, exposing the ulterior motives of the three richest billionaires in America. Our posting today is from Reich's article titled "It's the oligarchy, stupid."
Elon Musk, the richest of the billionaires, bought Twitter in 2022, laid off everyone who was filtering out hateful crap, renamed it X, and turned it into a cesspool of lies in support of Trump.
Jeff Bezos, the second richest person in America, who bought the Washington Post in 2013, announced that the paper’s opinion sections would henceforth focus on defending “personal liberties and free markets.” Anything inconsistent with this view would not be published. “Viewpoints opposing those pillars will be left to be published by others.” Yesterday, the Post’s opinion editor, David Shipley, promptly resigned, as he should.
Mark Zuckerberg, the third richest person, has followed suit, allowing Facebook to emit lies, hate, and bigotry in support of Trump’s lies, hate, and bigotry.
All three are trying to take control of our communication channels, which is part of Trump's Project 2025 plan to control and limit our freedom, exactly as Hitler, Mussolini, and Orban did. When they speak of “freedom,” what they actually seek is freedom from accountability.
All three of these men were in prominent positions in the first row at Trump’s inauguration. They, and other billionaires, have now exposed themselves for what they are — the oligarchy, members of the cult of Trump, siphoning off the wealth of America. They are supporting a vindictive tyrant who is promising them at least four years of tax cuts and regulatory rollbacks that will make them even richer.
We all must speak out and RESIST every chance we get against Trump, the evil dictator, and his entire regime. Remaining informed, voting, and demanding accountability are not just rights; they are responsibilities. Democracy requires participation, vigilance, and a willingness to challenge those in power. Because when people stop paying attention, they don’t wake up to better days; they wake up to a reality they no longer recognize. Read about the "Cost of Silence" here. Trump and his lapdog, Elon Musk, are clearly destroying America from within, attempting to turn it from a democracy into an autocracy, and the spineless Republican legislators in both the House and Senate are sitting on their thumbs and watching it happen; so it's now every citizen's duty to resist them and Take Back Democracy!
Despite its name, the "Department of Government Efficiency" (DOGE) is not a legitimate federal executive department, which would require an act of Congress to create. Instead, it was created illegally by Trump's executive order on January 20th. Trump thinks he's above the law, but he's not.
Trump then designated Musk as a special government employee in order to do his bidding. Interestingly, Musk's companies, Tesla and SpaceX, have been awarded $18 billion in federal contracts over the last decade. Some of this money has come from agencies Trump asked Musk to review, but Musk predictably dismissed the notion that there could be any conflicts of interest. Oh, yeah, right! As of January 2025, Musk was considered the richest person in the world, with a net worth of over $421 billion. Tesla, the most valuable automaker in the world valued at over $1 trillion, did not pay any federal income tax last year on $2.3 billion of U.S. income, and avoided almost all federal income tax on nearly $11 billion of U.S. income over three years! What percentage of your income did you pay in income taxes last year? Was it zero like Musk?
So, we have an idea. Get out your rattle cans of spray paint, folks. Let's make Teslas our "moving billboards" for our Take Back Democracy campaign all across America by spraying "TBD" on the sides of every Tesla, every Tesla charging station, and every Tesla showroom you see. Make it big. Make it visible. Is it legal, you ask? Trump's illegally creating the Department of Government Efficiency didn't stop him; nor did his giving top secret clearance to Musk and his team of twenty-year-olds at DOGE, who have recommended, without any government experience whatsoever, the dissolution of entire departments and the firing of thousands upon thousands of valuable federal employees.
Let's make our Take Back Democracy campaign so widely implemented across the country that no one in their right mind would ever consider buying a Tesla product again. Tesla sales are already down in France and Scandinavia. Way to go! Musk is now the car brand's biggest enemy.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander, and we're just getting started.

More than 20 civil service employees resigned yesterday from Trump adviser Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), saying they were refusing to use their technical expertise to “dismantle critical public services.”
“We swore to serve the American people and uphold our oath to the Constitution across presidential administrations,” the 21 staffers wrote in a joint resignation letter, a copy of which was obtained by The Associated Press. “However, it has become clear that we can no longer honor those commitments.”
The employees also warned that many of those enlisted by Musk to help him slash the size of the federal government under Trump’s administration were political ideologues who did not have the necessary skills or experience for the task ahead of them.
The day after Trump’s inauguration, the resigning staffers wrote, they were called into a series of interviews that foreshadowed the secretive and disruptive work of Musk’s’ DOGE. “We will not use our skills as technologists to compromise core government systems, jeopardize Americans’ sensitive data, or dismantle critical public services,” they wrote. “We will not lend our expertise to carry out or legitimize DOGE’s actions.”

America is in Dire Distress!
That's right. America is in dire distress as a result of the PIG (President Is a Goon) inhabiting the White House (i.e. the people's house) who calls himself president, and Americans are rightfully standing up against this totalitarian goon and his vengeful actions.
People all over America are protesting against Trump and his vindictive, retaliatory policies and his utter disregard for the Constitution of the United States which he took an oath to uphold. People are protesting to defend democracy.
People all over America are protesting outside Tesla (i.e. "Swasticar") showrooms over Elon Musk, the unelected South African billionaire immigrant, and his DOGE goon squad of neo-Nazi fascists, all of whom are under 26 years old (Click here to see who they are — the MAGA world has been up in arms about them being identified). With no prior governmental experience, these goons are recommending indiscriminate cuts to the jobs of thousands of dedicated federal workers and entire departments that have information that would ultimately threaten to imprison Trump for the rest of his life where he belongs. Maybe the citizens of America should get out their rattle cans of paint and protest on the sides of Tesla cars all over America — call them moving billboards for the worthy cause. Not legal, you say? Neither is the "Department of Government Efficiency" (DOGE) itself, which was never approved by Congress, or non-elected fascists like Musk having top secret clearance and access to citizens' personal information, or eliminating federal departments through executive orders that legally require congressional action and approval. So get off your high horse about what's legal and what's not.
New York Senator Chuck Schumer said, “Before our very eyes, an unelected shadow government is conducting a hostile takeover of the federal government. DOGE gaining access to sensitive info is like letting a tiger into the petting zoo and hoping for the best.”
Under Trump, we are traitors to our allies and allies to our enemies. Americans across our nation are standing up against Trump in support of saving our democracy! We the people are still in charge! We are America's patriots! We did not give Trump carte blanche to act any way he sees fit! It's time we take our country back from this tyrant! Trump blamed Ukraine for the war that Russia began by invading, called Zelensky a “dictator” for not holding elections during wartime (Ukraine’s laws bar wartime elections), and lied that the U.S. has provided $350 billion to Ukraine and that half the money is “missing.” In fact, the U.S. has provided about $100 billion, which is less than Europe has contributed, and the U.S. contributions have been mostly in the form of weapons from U.S. stockpiles that defense industries then replaced at home. None of that support is “missing.” Trump is nothing but a LIAR. On Google Maps, users changed the name of Trump’s Florida Mar-a-Lago club to “Kremlin Headquarters.”

The Napalming of America By Trump
Peter Fenn very accurately calls what Trump and Musk are doing to America "The Napalming of America." He says that Trump's executive orders and Musk's raids come across as both cruel and incompetent. They are not well thought out, they are arbitrary, they are clearly legally questionable and, maybe most importantly, they hurt everyday people. The actions are "trickling down" and will undermine American’s’ health care, Medicare, Medicaid, education, jobs, incomes, inflation, you name it.
The majority of Trump's policies are screwing hard working Americans, and Americans will only put up with so much before they legitimately eliminate the cause of these problems through whatever means they deem necessary.
At least 11,500 Americans and 54,575 foreigners have already lost their jobs. Nearly $1 billion in payments for work already done has been frozen. Nearly $500 million in food is sitting in ports, ships and warehouses. In Syria, a country struggling to recover from chaos, food and other support for nearly 900,000 people has been suspended. In West Africa, 3.4 million people in 11 countries have lost drug treatment for deadly tropical diseases. At least 328,000 HIV-positive people in 25 countries aren’t getting lifesaving drugs. All of this is happening because of vindictive Trump and his evil band of MAGA bandits.
While hundreds of thousands are suffering the aftereffects of Trump's ill-fated executive orders, this weekend Trump doubled down on his mandate, telling Musk to be “more aggressive” in cutting the government. Interestingly, Trump has played golf at one of his own properties on 9 of his first 30 days in office, and Trump's golf outings have already cost the American taxpayers $10.7 million. Wake up, Elon! How about permanently cutting golf from the dictator's schedule!
The opposition is growing fast, and it's better organized than the trio of Neo-Nazi fascists — Trump, Musk, and Steve Bannon — ever expected with their Project 2025's "flood the zone" strategy, and the public is responding.
The three key areas for an equal and opposite reaction are: the courts, the congress and our communities. Democratic Attorneys General in eighteen states were organized and ready to file law suits on many of the executive orders and actions by Trump. Other groups like environmentalists, civil rights organizations, unions and human rights groups also had prepared for the legal battles. More law suits are coming every day and many Americans are donating to groups like the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), as well as volunteering. Republican and Democratic lawyers are making their voices heard, some even resigning when told to undermine the rule of law and the Constitution. The more the Trump administration attempts to rule by executive decree, the more lawsuits will be filed and the more the courts will become the safeguard for justice.
Democrats will assuredly hold firm and all voters will rise up against Trump as his vindictive policies squeeze every American. This all leads to greater activism in our communities. Confronting members of Congress at town hall meetings and forcing them to account for their actions, calling and writing their offices, and making constituents’ views known will only increase. Poll numbers for Trump will continue to decline; Elon Musk and his 20-something DOGE band will be in the doghouse; the newly confirmed cabinet will become increasingly unpopular, feeding bad polls and making Trump furious; efforts to undermine the free press will also be unpopular and create a backlash; anger against Trump and MAGA in the heartland will grow exponentially.
The problem that we have is spineless Republican office holders who are being governed and controlled by fear – fear of Trump’s wrath, fear of MAGA beating them in primaries and actual fear of physical retaliation if they speak out and buck Trump's trends. Retribution and recrimination is Trump’s standard operating procedure — always has been, always will be. But in reality, Trump is nothing but a WIMP, an aging schoolyard bully living in his own demented and warped altered reality. He has the body of a plump, soon-to-be octogenarian, but the cognitive ability of a mentally deficient two-year-old. His playbook will get as old as he is — all the more reason to take him on in the courts, stand up to him in Congress, and organize the grass roots in our communities. Resist Trump at every turn. Lock him up in the courts and paralyze his ability to move any further against America and its citizens.

Heil, Elon!
Elon Musk, at a campaign event on behalf of the Alternative for Germany (AfD), Germany's extremist, right-wing political party, told the 4,000 AfD supporters, “I think you really are the best hope for Germany.” Musk also published an op-ed in Welt am Sonntag, urging Germans to vote for the AfD. The paper’s opinion editor resigned in protest.
In Berlin, more than 100,000 people gathered on the Bundestag lawn under a banner reading "Defend democracy: Together against the right." The message Germans were sending was clear: AfD’s right-wing radicalism is out of place in democratic Germany. But not, apparently, in democratic America.
Put two and two together, folks. Elon Musk is a Nazi-lover, and he's Trump's closest advisor.
Then J.D. Vance snubbed the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, and met instead with Alice Weidel, the head of AfD, and spoke at the Munich Security Conference, urging the next German government to include the AfD in the governing coalition. The AfD has so far been treated as a pariah party.
Put two and two together again, folks. J.D. Vance is another Nazi-lover, and he's the vice president.
Peter Wehner of The Atlantic said it best: "For Musk and Vance to go so far out of their way to support not just any rising radical movement, but this particular party, in this particular country, with its deep historical experiences with fascism, is quite telling. They are not just “trolling the libs”; they are giving their public backing to a movement that represents the core convictions of MAGA world. They see in the AfD an undiluted version of MAGA. What we’re witnessing from Trump & Company, as alarming as it is now, is only a way station. Before you know it, virtually everyone in the Republican Party will be on board. Trump always changes them; they never change him. The AfD’s approach to politics—nihilism with a touch of Nazi sympathizing—is the new MAGA model. The AfD has already won the hearts and minds of the most powerful men in America.

Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway's companies for the last 60 years, cited the fact that Berkshire paid the IRS $26.8 billion last year — “far more in corporate income tax than the U.S. government had ever received from any company — even the American tech titans that commanded market values in the trillions.”
Yesterday, Buffett had a message for Trump, urging the government to be responsible with the money he sends it. He wrote, reinforcing some of the Democratic ideals he has long supported, "Thank you, Uncle Sam. Someday your nieces and nephews at Berkshire hope to send you even larger payments than we did in 2024. Spend it wisely. Take care of the many who, for no fault of their own, get the short straws in life. They deserve better. And never forget that we need you to maintain a stable currency and that result requires both wisdom and vigilance on your part."
Buffett has forgotten more about money than Trump ever learned. Will Trump listen to Buffett's advice? Probably not. Trump is a malignant narcissist who cares only about himself and no one else, including the citizens of America.

Let us tell you why Trump is a racist and a bigot
CNN reported that Trump announced he was dismissing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Charles Q. Brown, a highly qualified four star general who is the first Black service chief in US military history, and, as described by President Biden, “a warrior,” a “fearless leader and unyielding patriot.” Commissioned in 1984 from the ROTC Program at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, General Brown has commanded a fighter squadron, two fighter wings, US Air Forces Central Command and the US Air Force Weapons School. Trump is replacing him with Air Force Lt. Gen. John Dan “Razin” Caine, who he's bringing out of retirement, and who is not a four-star general. Caine has held NONE of the assignments that are required for elevation to this position. Trump is reaching far down the pecking order to someone who isn’t even on active duty in the military for the critical position not only as the chief military advisor to the President…but the key person at the contact point of civilian control over the military. Trump is dangerously naive, showing a lack of experience, wisdom, and judgment.
Then Trump had his lackey, Pete Hegseth, his new Secretary of Defense, release a statement announcing he’d fired Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Lisa Franchetti, the chief of the Navy. Hegseth has a history of alcohol abuse and showing up drunk to work, sexually assaulting women and mistreating female colleagues. When Hegseth was in the Army National Guard, a fellow service member who was the unit’s security guard and on an anti-terrorism team flagged Hegseth to their unit’s leadership because one of his tattoos is used by white supremacists. Hegseth is a white supremacist and a fascist.
The removal of General Brown, the second Black man to serve as America’s most senior general, as well as Admiral Franchetti, the first woman to serve on the Joint Chiefs of Staff, sends a strong signal from Trump, the racist and bigot who has outlawed diversity and inclusion efforts across the military and wider government.
Our recommendation to the military is to resist Trump's illegal orders, saying, as then-chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley did, that in America “we don’t take an oath to a king, or a queen, or to a tyrant or dictator, and we don’t take an oath to a wannabe dictator…. We don’t take an oath to an individual. We take an oath to the Constitution, and we take an oath to the idea that is America, and we’re willing to die to protect it.”
All Trump can parrot is how everything is going to be "great again" under his term in office, but this idiot has no platform and no plan. He's winging it now as he did for the previous four years he was in office when he tried to destroy democracy the first time.
The heist of our democracy by Trump, the xenophobe and homophobe, is in full view. Decades of progress created with sweat and determination face destruction, and civil rights has been set back half a century or more.

'Ineptitude' is Trump's middle name
CNN reported that the US stock markets fell sharply Friday after an economic report showed American consumers are growing increasingly fearful of price increases and how Trump’s tariffs could reignite the inflation crisis. Trump "thinks" he's a smart businessman, but let us remind America that this bumbling idiot claimed bankruptcy six separate times. Trump is nothing but a dismal failure. A monkey throwing darts at business decisions on a dartboard could do infinitely better.
Stocks tumble under Trump's tariffs
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 748 points, or 1.7% in one day yesterday, and tumbled about 1,200 points over the course of Thursday and Friday. The S&P 500 sank 1.7% for its worst day since Trump took office, with three out of every four stocks falling. The Nasdaq composite tumbled 2.2%. Stocks of the smallest companies, whose profits can be more closely tied to the strength of the U.S. economy than big multinational rivals, fell more than the rest of the market. The Russell 2000 index of small stocks dropped a market-leading 2.9%. This is what happens under Trump's egregious financial management. This isn't "leadership;" it's "ineptitude." Under Trump, business activity is close to stalling, with growth slowing to a new low.
Higher inflation
U.S. consumers are preparing for higher inflation, already seeing how Trump lied about lowering grocery and gas prices, and in part because of potential tariffs that could raise prices for all kinds of imports.
Trump is inept
Americans are losing confidence in the economy, driven primarily by worries over Trump’s tariffs jacking up prices, which real economists said will only hurt America and its citizens.
Democratic leaders need to step up and do their job
The Trump administration has shown a relentless desire to increase the power of the presidency, taking over everything from the Kennedy Center to the U.S. Postal Service. Trump is openly embracing anti-American and authoritarian ideals, suggesting he will ignore courts and treating his word as law. Trump has gone beyond his authority as president and needs to be stopped by any means necessary. A recent Quinnipiac survey indicated that 49% of Democrats disapprove of the performance of their party leaders, but they are doing nothing to oppose Trump. A CNN poll found a whopping 73% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents thought Democrats in Congress weren’t doing enough to oppose Trump. These do-nothing Democrats need to get off their asses to ensure that Trump follows and upholds the Constitution. Trump does not have unlimited power. Congress is part of the checks and balances system, but is not doing its job. None of us can afford to have "outrage fatigue," where Trump creates a new scandal every day, and the prior day’s issues get pushed aside and forgotten. Garry Kasparov, the world chess champion who has become a democracy advocate, said, "The ability of demagogues & autocrats to surprise, to create a new scandal every day, is their superpower. It diminishes attention to the previous day's transgressions & normalizes them. It slowly numbs the senses, including outrage. Values are the only defense. Hold them dear."
As Joyce Vance, law professor and MSNBC/NBC legal analyst, said, "Trump delayed his way into escaping justice in the courts and persuaded a majority of American voters to return him to office. He avoided the truth by overwhelming us with so much bad governance and bad conduct that it was hard to get your arms around all of it. But the election was close, far closer than was thought on election night. Despite all of our doubts and fears about how the next two years will shape up, there is an election on the books for 2026, and we need to prepare for it. I understand some people are tempted to give up and believe it doesn’t matter anymore. But I don’t believe that. I think we’re going to have to be smart and fierce about how we go about it, but I think we can still protect democracy." The 2026 midterms are coming, and Trump will have provided voters who have been burned by their illusions of Trump being their dream candidate with something new to vote against. The problem with running as the candidate of people’s dreams is that, eventually, they wake up.
A total of 468 seats in the U.S. Congress (33 Senate seats and all 435 House seats) are up for election on November 3, 2026. We must do our part now to ensure a Democratic landslide.
We must challenge every one of Trump's transgressions in the courts and use Trump's own tactics — delay, delay, delay — to slow him down and grind his autocratic regime to a halt. Keeping focus is difficult, but we must in order to fight and get rid of Trump, the evil demagogue.

Idiotic Trump fires health workers during measles outbreak
FACT: One in every thousand children with measles dies.
Right now there's a measles outbreak going on in both Texas and New Mexico with dangerously low vaccination rates as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., one of Trump's most influential anti-vaxxers, prepares to take the helm of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), while Trump is firing thousands at the HHS, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). With no evidence whatsoever, Kennedy cast doubt on the fact that measles caused the tragedy in Samoa that affected more than 5,700 cases and killed 83. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is a twenty-first century fool and Trump, his MAGA cult leader, is an ignoramus who touted drinking bleach during the COVID pandemic — there's no sign of a single, functioning brain between the two of them.
Trump doesn't care. He's a malignant narcissist who only cares about himself, but these are the idiots that you MAGA Maggots wanted and put in office — an underbelly of madmen and extremists. Hopefully the days of consequence-free idiocy will end and medical science and reason will prevail once the unstable system MAGA is creating fails — and it will assuredly fail. The MAGA cult owes its health and freedom to the sanity of the society they affect to despise.

On February 20, 1939, in honor of President George Washington’s birthday, Nazis held a rally at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. More than 20,000 people showed up for the 'true Americanism' event, which was held on a stage that featured a huge portrait of Washington in his Continental Army uniform flanked by swastikas. Just two years later, Americans went to war against fascism." Fascism failed.

J.D. Vance attacked the U.S.A.’s European allies
Neither Trump nor J.D. Vance represents the ideals of democracy. They may be your president and vice president, but they're not ours. They're traitors to our Constitution.
At the sixty-first Munich Security Conference, where the U.S. and allies and partners have come together to discuss security issues since 1963, Vance attacked the U.S.A.’s European allies. Adhering to Trump's Project 2025 agenda, he warned that the allies were threatened "from within," meaning that the principles his far-right-wing ideologues believe in are weakened by a nation that treats women, as well as racial, religious, and gender minorities as equal to white Christian men. Then Vance refused to meet with Germany’s chancellor Olaf Scholz and instead met with the leader of the far-right German political party that has been associated with neo-Nazi's.
Wake up J.D. This is 2025, not 1825. This is America, not Hitler's fascist Germany. You swore your allegiance to the Constitution of the United States, not to your friends, the white supremacists and neo-Nazi's. Trump and Vance have set in motion retribution, revenge, vengeance, and a wholesale executive takeover – blowing up the government – intent on ignoring the law and the Constitution and 250 years of democratic tradition. They have no moral compass.
The United States is a democratic nation, not an autocracy or dictatorship as Trump and Vance would like to make it.
Both Trump and Vance took oaths on January 20th to support and protect our Constitution. If they can't do that, the citizens of this country need to throw their sorry asses out on the street where they belong. The real citizens of America who believe in the democracy on which our country was founded will fight against fascists like Trump and Vance until these dictators are ousted from office or die.

Trump and mass murderers think alike!
Thom Hartmann, psychotherapist and NY Times bestselling author of 34 books, posted an interesting observation on Trump's use of a terrorist's mantra: "He who saves his country, violates no law."
Adolf Hitler and Napoleon Bonaparte used it. Anders Breivik, who set off a bomb in Oslo’s Government Quarter, killing eight people, and then followed up by using a semiautomatic rifle to kill another sixty-nine people, used it. On January 24, 2024, lawbreaking President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador used it. And now Trump used it.
Emperors like Napoleon, dictators like Bukele, mass murderers like Hitler, and autocrats like Trump don’t bother with trivial details like obeying the law. They rule by decree — write it down, put your signature on it, and it’s now the law of the land. Replace “the system” of democracy with a white supremacist Christo-fascist oligarchy.
This is why it’s so troubling that Trump tweeted the same Napoleonic phrase that Breivik made famous. The six corrupt Republicans on the Supreme Court have already ratified the White House’s new American dictator doctrine with the Trump v US decision last July, saying that if the president breaks the law while executing “official acts,” he’s immune from criminal prosecution for the crime. He just gets away with it. As long as he’s saving the country, he violates no law.

Trump only won because of vote suppression
The 2024 election was determined by good old “vote suppression,” the polite term we use for shafting people of color out of their ballot. We used to call it Jim Crow. Preventing legitimate voters' votes from being counted is Trump's way. It was also the primary purpose of his insurrection on January 6, 2021.
THE FACTS:
- 4,776,706 voters were wrongly purged from voter rolls according to US Elections Assistance Commission data.
- By August of 2024, for the first time since 1946, self-proclaimed “vigilante” voter-fraud hunters challenged the rights of 317,886 voters. The NAACP of Georgia estimates that by Election Day, the challenges exceeded 200,000 in Georgia alone.
- No less than 2,121,000 mail-in ballots were disqualified for minor clerical errors (e.g. postage due).
- At least 585,000 ballots cast in-precinct were also disqualified.
- 1,216,000 “provisional” ballots were rejected, not counted.
- 3.24 million new registrations were rejected or not entered on the rolls in time to vote.
- Rejection of Black in-person votes, according to a US Civil Rights Commission study in Florida, ran 14.3% or one in seven ballots cast.
- Bomb threats closed 31 polling stations in Atlanta on Election Day.
- According to the Brennan Center for Justice, “At least 30 states enacted 78 restrictive, race-targeted laws” to blockade Black citizens from voting.
- Brian Kemp, the Republican Governor of Georgia, signed SB 202 which slashed the number of drop boxes by 75% only in Black-majority counties and locked them away at night. These moves slashed mail-in and drop box balloting by nearly 90% in the 2024 race.

Trump and MAGA have rejected reasonable appointments and pragmatic policy prescriptions and, instead, set in motion retribution, revenge and a wholesale executive takeover – blowing up the government – intent on ignoring the law and the constitution and 250 years of democratic tradition. They are deliberately testing America’s patience, and the world’s.
Trump's staff and appointees have been clear about their agenda to dismantle government from the get-go. The blueprint of Project 2025 has been their playbook, with two-thirds of his initial executive orders taken right from it, according to CNN. If you look at one tell-tale sign of where this is headed, look straight to Viktor Orbán and what has transpired in Hungary.
For the last 15 years Orban has put in place a plan of “Christian illiberal democracy” that has become the MAGA example for Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, Tucker Carlson and the members of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) which will be part of Hungary CPAC for the fourth consecutive year at the end of May. They are joined at the hip.
Orbán and Hungary are also the model for the Heritage Society’s Project 2025. What is the result? An electoral autocracy that uses the unitary executive power theory to control a nation.
What Orbán did in Hungary to fire up his base with right wing populism and demonizing immigrants and focusing on so-called government “corruption,” Trump is doing in the United States. What Orbán did to the judiciary with appointments and upending the entire judicial system, Trump is attempting by co-opting the Justice Department and appointing and electing loyalists. What Orbán did in Hungary by creating a Media Authority and taking over independent media, Trump is intent on doing by embracing favored outlets and undermining and intimidating media that isn’t favorable to him. What Orbán did by condemning elections that did not go his way and then changing the rules, Trump is fast becoming a master of manipulation. And, finally, what Orbán has done to exert ultimate executive authority, Trump and Musk and their MAGA minions believe is coming quicker than you could ever imagine.
“There is a great leader in Europe—Viktor Orbán…he is the prime minister of Hungary. He is a very great leader, a very strong man,” said Trump in January, 2024.
“I think Orbán made smart decisions that we could learn from in the U.S.,” said J.D. Vance in June, 2024.
“We have entered the programme-writing system of President Donald Trump’s team, and we have deep involvement there,” said Viktor Orbán in July, 2024.
It is time to save our courts, save our free press, save our government that has saved us and the world for over two centuries. We are not a dictatorship. We are not Hungary or 1930's Germany. We are a beacon for democracy and freedom. Let’s keep it that way.

At the sixty-first Munich Security Conference on Friday, February 14, Vice President J.D. Vance launched what The Guardian’s Patrick Wintour called “a brutal ideological assault” against Europe, attacking the values the United States used to share with Europe but which Vance and the other members of the Trump administration are now working to destroy.
Vance and the Trump administration have the support of billionaire immigrant Elon Musk, who cast Nazi salutes before crowds on the day of Trump’s inauguration, in their attempt to shift the globe toward the rejection of democracy in favor of far-right authoritarianism.
JD Vance and MAGA Christian nationalists reject the principles of secular democracy and instead align with leaders like Hungarian prime minister (read: dictator) Viktor Orbán. They claim that the equal rights central to democracy undermine nations by treating women and racial, religious, and gender minorities as equal to white Christian men. They want to see an end to the immigration that they believe weakens a nation's people, and for government to reinforce traditional religious and patriarchal values.
After the rise and fall of German dictator Adolf Hitler, Germany banned Nazi propaganda and set limits on hate speech, banning attacks on people based on racial, national, religious, or ethnic background, as these forms of speech are central to fascism and similar ideologies.

Trump's ignorant "DOGE virgins" should be prosecuted for espionage
Hackers hacked their way into Elon Musk’s “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) website, which was launched earlier this week by Musk's band of juvenile delinquents after Musk claimed that his group was posting its actions on the DOGE website. The site is not on government servers, is not secure, and pulls information from an open database that anyone could edit.
Jennifer Bendery of HuffPost pointed out that one of the errors on the DOGE site is that it appears to have posted classified information about the size and staff of a U.S. intelligence agency. DOGE’s database provides details on the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), the federal agency that designs, builds and maintains U.S. intelligence satellites. This information is classified. Musk cannot claim he wasn’t aware that the National Reconnaissance Office is one of the nation’s intelligence agencies. His company, SpaceX, has a $1.8 billion contract with NRO to build hundreds of spy satellites.
And what did Trump, the traitor-in-chief, have to say? Nothing — mum's the word. Security clearance lawyer Bradley Moss posted: “If you’re a clearance holder, stay away from the DOGE site. These ignorant virgins are going to find themselves prosecuted for violating the Espionage Act before all is said and done.” We certainly hope so.

Republican Senators confirm their membership in the Cult of Trump
Mitch McConnell (R-KY) provided the one and only Republican vote against confirming Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to become the secretary of health and human services, and the one and only Republican vote against confirming Tulsi Gabbard as director of national intelligence. All of the other Republican senators are worthless bastards that have been brainwashed into the Cult of Trump. Trump's mind control techniques have sucked in nearly every Republican senator into his evil cult, not unlike the techniques used successfully by Charles Manson, Jim Jones, L. Ron Hubbard, David Koresh, Lyndon LaRouche, Sun Myung Moon, and Adolf Hitler.
Robert F. She is a Russian sympathizer and defender of the government of the former Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad. Yet she was confirmed by all of the brainwashed Senate Republicans but McConnell as director of national intelligence.
How can this have happened? Trump has used tried-and-true indoctrination techniques to suck the Republican members of Congress into his cult. Trump has malignant narcissism, the most severe mental sickness that combines narcissistic personality disorder with three additional psychopathologies: antisocial behavior, self-affirming sadism, and paranoia. He lies about everything, and he is an expert at gaslighting his "targets" into making it impossible for them to imagine a reality different from the fake one he imposes. Trump has psychologically drawn the Republican party into his cult.

Trump, the panhandler, begs for money during the Super Bowl
The Washington Examiner reported that Trump, our nation's most pathetic panhandler and grifter, sent out emails asking for contributions during the Super Bowl.
At approximately 8:39 p.m., during halftime of the Super Bowl, a text message titled “HALFTIME UPDATE FROM TRUMP” was sent to people throughout the country, presumably to mostly Trump's cult members (a.k.a. MAGA supporters). It read, “If you voted for me, I need you to read this before the game ends ASAP,” followed by a link to a Trump website where he listed a 10-point game plan, including panhandling for a contribution ranging from $20.25 to $2,500.
Why a contribution for someone already in office? It reportedly was to contribute to a fund for a potential third Trump impeachment! Although the total amount of contributions wasn't released, we're sure that countless brainwashed MAGA cult members reached into their pockets to support this swindler.
Trump isn't a leader; he's a pathetic panhandler!
Wake up, Democrats! Educate yourself with the FACTS about how they operate:
- They will come to power with a campaign based on fear, scaremongering and distorting the truth. But their victory will be achieved through a democratic electoral process, and this will be their argument every time you question the legitimacy of their actions. They will claim a mandate from the voters to change the system.
- They will divide and rule. They will call their supporters Patriots, and others will be labeled as traitors, enemies of the state, or unpatriotic. Don't ever forget that Trump is a felon who was convicted by a jury of his peers on 34 separate counts.
- They will attempt to dominate the news media, and then, through convoluted laws and threats, they will attempt to control all mainstream media and limit press freedom. They will ban critical press from their briefings, calling them “fake news.”
- They will create chaos, maintain a constant sense of conflict and danger. It will be their argument to enact new authoritarian laws, each one further limiting your freedoms and civil liberties. They will disguise them as being for your protection, for the good of the people.
- They will distort the truth, deny facts and blatantly lie. They will try to make you forget what facts are, sedate your need to find the truth. They will feed “post-truths” and “alternative facts”, replace knowledge and logic with emotions and fiction.
- They will incite and then leak fake, superficial “scandals”. They will smear opposition with trivial accusations, blowing them out of proportion and then feeding the flame. This is just smokescreen for the legal steps they will be taking towards totalitarianism — a centralized, dictatorial system of government requiring complete subservience.
- They will propose shocking laws to provoke your outrage. You will focus your efforts on fighting them, so they will seemingly back off, giving you a false sense of victory. In the meantime they will push through less “flashy” legislation, slowly dismantling democracy.
- When invading your liberal sensibilities they will focus on what hurts the most – women and minorities. They will paint foreigners and immigrants as potential threats. They will challenge women’s social status, undermine gender equality and interfere with reproductive rights. But it means they are aware of the threat women and minorities pose to their rule, so make it your strength.
- They will try to take control of the judiciary. They will assault your highest court. They need to remove the checks and balances to be able to push through unconstitutional legislation. Controlling the judiciary they can also threat anyone that defies them with prosecution, including the press.
- They will try to limit freedom of assembly, calling it a necessity for your security.
- They will distort the language, coin new terms and labels, repeat shocking phrases until you accept them as normal and subconsciously associate them with whom they like. Their slogans will have double meaning, giving strength to their supporters.
- They will take over your national symbols, associate them with their regime, remake them into attributes of their power, e.g. the Gulf of America, Mt. McKinley, etc.
- They will try to rewrite history to suit their needs and use the education system to support their agenda. They will raise a new generation of voters on their ideology, backing it with a distorted interpretation of history and view of the world.
- They will alienate foreign allies and partners, convincing you that you don’t need them. They won’t care for the rest of the world, with their focus on “making your country great again.”
- They will eventually manipulate the electoral system. They might say it’s to correct flaws, to make it more fair, more similar to the rest of the world, or just to make it better. Don’t believe it. They wouldn’t be messing with it at all if it wasn’t to benefit them in some way.
6 Rules for Survival under an Authoritarian Regime:
- Rule 1 — Don’t stay indifferent. It WILL concern you eventually. It will concern your family and your friends. Voice your objection IMMEDIATELY. Show them you care. RESIST.
- Rule 2 — They thrive on FEAR & IGNORANCE. Expose their scaremongering, show flaws in their arguments. Raise awareness, EDUCATE people around you. They will try to distort FACTS, rewrite history. DON’T LET THEM.
- Rule 3 — Organize protest movements, mobilize civil society. They’re well organized, so should you be. FLOOD THE STREETS. They WILL back off when they see your numbers. They depend on you – the PEOPLE.
- Rule 4 — Don’t let them DIVIDE you into different classes of citizens: “true Americans,” “patriots” vs. “traitors,” “enemies of the state.” You’re ALL citizens, ONE nation, despite different beliefs and ideology. Make your diversity your STRENGTH. Stay TOGETHER for a common goal – survival of your country, of freedom and democracy.
- Rule 5 — Don’t give up, don’t get tired, and don’t try to wait it out. Don’t hope it will pass. It WON’T. They will manipulate the people, control the media to sway public opinion, fix the electoral system and STAY FOR GOOD.
- Rule 6 — If you don’t get them to back off or to step down, you better make damn SURE that when the next elections come, assuming there’s still any democracy left, NO ONE will vote for the same bastards again!

This was Trump's ridiculous statement at the National Prayer Breakfast yesterday, where he boasted (read: lied) that he had personally delivered water to California: "The water comes down from the northwest parts of Canada, I guess, but the Pacific Northwest. And it comes down by millions and millions of barrels a day and uh, I opened it up. It wasn't that easy to do. But I opened it up and it's pouring down." And amazingly, California farmers are still sticking with Trump despite the loss of the water intended for their fields in the dry summer. These are ignorant people who are part of Trump's brainwashed MAGA cult.

Project 2025 is calling the shots
The Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 is the dangerous White Christian Nationalist playbook that Trump is using to call the shots, even though Trump lied about knowing anything about the document prior to the election. Most of the flurry of Trump's executive orders have been lifted from the 922-page document. The majority of Republicans are White Christian Nationalists, and it's not what people think. This "sect" (read: cult) of ultra-right-wing Christians wants to turn America into a Christian theocracy, overturning the secular state and everything liberals hold dear. It's a version of Christian "dominionism." Incidentally, the Heritage Foundation has ties to dictator Viktor Orbán’s Danube Institute.
Project 2025 compiles the work of hundreds of conservative operatives and ideologues into a stunningly radical plan to infiltrate and reconstruct the federal government by dramatically expanding presidential power, shredding the social safety net, eliminating key environmental and civil rights protections, and imposing a reactionary cultural agenda — all while cutting taxes for the wealthy. It's a roadmap to effectively end American democracy as we know it.

Birthright citizenship is not Trump's decision
Judge Deborah L. Boardman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland issued the preliminary injunction blocking Trump's executive order to end birthright citizenship.
Trump's executive order violates the Constitution of the United States. It would have had the federal government stop recognizing the citizenship of children born in the United States of undocumented parents or those who have temporary legal status starting on Feb. 9.
“The executive order conflicts with the plain language of the 14th Amendment, contradicts 125-year-old binding Supreme Court precedent and runs counter to our nation’s 250-year history of citizenship by birth,” Boardman said. Trump does not have the authority to define who is a citizen of the United States.

Trump told reporters last night that the U.S. “will take over the Gaza Strip,” and he suggested sending troops to make that happen. “We’ll own it,” he said. “We’re going to take over that piece, develop it and create thousands and thousands of jobs, and it will be something the entire Middle East can be proud of.” It could become “the Riviera of the Middle East,” he said.

Trump's biggest ass-kisser!
Any bets as to how much longer it will be before Trump throws Musk, the fascist immigrant from South Africa, under the bus as he has everyone else in his presidential history?
Musk already has money, but what he now wants is power, and the best way to gain power is to kiss Trump's fat ass and play him like a fool. The minute Trump feels threatened by Musk, he will toss him aside. It's so predictable. Trump famously turns on aides who he believes eclipse him. But by his own account, Trump currently remains enamored with Musk, seeming to relish the fact that the world’s wealthiest person is working for him. It makes Trump, such a little man, feel big in his own demented mind. Musk has shown a willingness to take the public's pushback for controversial actions, allowing Trump himself to be insulated from and to avoid blame. Trump loves that.
Musk is acting as Trump's head-chopping cost-cutter, but his authority is not unchecked. Soon Musk will become less effective and less worthwhile to Trump when Congress eventually steps in and puts a leash and a muzzle on Musk.
Trump's ally will eventually become Trump's enemy.

Which one is the puppet?
Is Trump, the convicted felon, controlling Musk, or is Musk, the immigrant from South Africa, controlling Trump?
Musk donated $290 million to get Trump elected — to buy the presidency — and now Trump is letting unelected, citizen Musk shut down the government so that in the end he can absolve himself of the blame. By letting Musk make the cuts the MAGA base wants, they can both provide those cuts and distance themselves from them — for now.
Nice try, Little Donnie, but it won't work for long. Trump was the one who was barely elected, and he is the one who is going to take the blame. The replacement of our constitutional system of government with the whims of an unelected private citizen is a coup. The U.S. president has no authority to cut programs created and funded by Congress, and a private citizen tapped by a president has even less standing to try anything so radical. Permitting a private citizen to override the will of our representatives in Congress destroys the U.S. Constitution — and those who take part in a coup must be destroyed.
The extreme cuts the ignorant MAGA Republicans say they want are actually quite unpopular with Americans in general, and even with most of the Republican voters who were stupid enough to drink Trump's "Kool-Aid" and vote for him.
Last night Musk said of his destruction of the federal government: “If it’s not possible now, it will never be possible. This is our shot, This is the best hand of cards we’re ever going to have. If we don’t take advantage of this best hand of cards, it’s never going to happen.”
Jennifer Rubin of The Contrarian wrote, "Public opposition to the most wholesale and jaw-dropping violation of Americans’ privacy and President Trump’s unilateral outsourcing of the executive branch’s operation to a private individual, Elon Musk, has taken hold."
The New York Times reported, “Democratic lawmakers on Monday protested the Trump administration’s proposed closure of the U.S. Agency for International Development, saying they would fight Elon Musk’s attempts to override Congress and gut the federal humanitarian aid agency” and a second federal judge enjoined the freeze Trump attempted to unilaterally impose on appropriated funds, another lawsuit was filed.
Represented by Public Citizen Litigation Group and State Democracy Defenders Fund, the Alliance for Retired Americans, the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) filed suit on Monday against the Treasury Department “for sharing confidential data with the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), run by Elon Musk.”
Representative Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) said, “Elon Musk, you didn't create USAID. The United States Congress did for the American people … like Elon Musk did not create USAID, he doesn't have the power to destroy it. And who's going to stop him? We are.”
Senator Elizabeth Warren (D.-Mass.) put out a blistering statement: “As long as Musk has this access, he can retrieve people’s sensitive personal information. Social security numbers. Bank account numbers. Tax returns. Musk now has the power to extract that information for his own use, to boost his finances or strengthen his political power.”
Finally, Democratic lawmakers seem to have sprung to life, with fervor. It's about time. Now the question is: What are they going to do about it?
Trump is the worst president in all of American history — a domestic terrorist — and Musk is his personal puppet. Both must be stopped and punished.

Republicans in Congress are Spineless Weasels
More than 155 million Americans voted in 2024: 156,302,318 to be exact — the second largest total voter turnout in U.S. history — and the FACT is that Trump lost the popular vote. In terms of the popular vote, more people voted for someone not named Trump for president than voted for Trump in 2024! FACT: it was not a "landslide" in Trump's favor, as Trump, the incessant liar, claims.
Voters also voted for members of Congress, and it only stands to reason that not all of the Republicans who were elected in 2024 are Trump supporters. After all, who can respect a bottom-feeding pariah, an adulterer, a liar, a cheat, and a convicted felon?
Not every Republican legislator agrees with or respects Trump, but so far every Republican kneels down to kiss Trump's fat ass whenever it's time to vote in Congress. They're all afraid of Trump. They're spineless weasels. Instead, they should all be afraid of the voters who put them in office to do their bidding, with more than half of the population of the country not supporting Trump.
This is a wake-up call to all those spineless Republican bastards and bitches who vote against their own consciences and against the will of the people who put them in office every time they vote the way Trump wants them to vote. We voters are watching, and we will assuredly vote you out of office in the next election. The 2026 congressional midterm elections will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. All 435 House seats and thirty-five Senate seats will be up for grabs. The 2028 election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2028.

Musk now has the country's checkbook
Historian Heather Cox Richardson reported that billionaire Elon Musk, who was not elected by anyone to any office in any election, took control of the Treasury’s payment system this weekend, thus essentially gaining access to the checkbook with which the United States handles about $6 trillion annually and to all the financial information of Americans and American businesses with it. And this is OK with Trump, the convicted felon.
The Associated Press reported that yesterday two top security officials from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) tried to stop people associated with Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, from accessing classified information they did not have security clearance to see. Trump put the officials on leave, and the DOGE team gained access to the information.
Vittoria Elliott of Wired has identified those associated with Musk’s takeover as six “engineers who are barely out of—and in at least one case, purportedly still in—college.” Public policy expert Dan Moynihan told reporter Elliott that the fact these people “are not really public officials” makes it hard for Congress to intervene. Hard to intervene? WTF! Then maybe the citizens of America should intervene by throwing his fascist ass out onto the curb and then deport the immigrant back to Pretoria, South Africa where he belongs. Rolling over is not one of our options.
Musk is unelected, and DOGE has no legal authority. As political scientist Seth Masket put it: “Elon Musk is not a federal employee, nor has he been appointed by the President nor approved by the Senate to have any leadership role in government. The ‘Department of Government Efficiency,’ announced by Trump in a January 20th executive order, is not truly any sort of government department or agency, and even the executive order uses quotes in the title. It’s perfectly fine to have a marketing gimmick like this, but DOGE does not have power over established government agencies, and Musk has no role in government. It does not matter that he is an ally of the President. Musk is a private citizen taking control of established government offices. That is not efficiency; that is a coup.”
We Americans need to oppose, punish, and deter coups, like DOGE. What are our lazy ass Democratic legislators waiting for? The time for action is NOW.

Trump's plan: eliminate your political enemies to avoid prosecution
We've said it before, but we'll say it again: Trump doesn't want to be president. He's unfit for the job. Trump only ran for office to avoid a lengthy prison sentence. Period.
Now that he's in office, Trump's primary objective is to eliminate all his political enemies — same as Hitler did. Trump is using Hitler's playbook.
Trump purged the Federal Bureau of Investigation of all six of its top executives, plus more than 20 heads of FBI field offices, including those in Washington, D.C., and Miami, where officials pursued cases against him. Trump also fired 25 to 30 federal prosecutors who had worked on cases involving the rioters who attacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and reassigned others. He also illegally fired 18 inspectors general across federal agencies and a purged the Department of Justice of those who had worked on cases against him.
This past Friday Phil Williams of NewsChannel 5 in Nashville, Tennessee, reported that federal prosecutors were withdrawn from a criminal investigation of Representative Andy Ogles (R-TN) for election fraud; Ogles recently filed a House resolution to enable Trump to run for a third term (Note: it's against the Constitution) and another supporting Trump’s designs on Greenland (Note: land owned by Denmark and not for sale).
Trump’s loyalists overlap with the MAGA Maggot crew that embraces Project 2025, a plan that mirrors the one used by Hungarian dictator Viktor Orbán to overthrow democracy in Hungary, calling for discrimination against women and gender, racial, and religious minorities; rejection of immigrants; and the imposition of religious laws to restore a white Christian patriarchy.
Although Trump claimed (i.e. lied) during the campaign he didn't know anything about Project 2025, Steve Contorno and Casey Tolan of CNN estimate that more than two thirds of Trump’s executive orders mirror Project 2025. Trump is also attempting to end the birthright citizenship written into the U.S. Constitution in 1868, and has issued an executive order to purge transgender service members from the military. Trump has also ordered that federal employees must remove all pronouns from their email signatures. Will mandatory tattooing (read: Hitler's Auschwitz) be next on the convicted felon's list? Trump imposed a freeze on foreign aid to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which provides humanitarian assistance to fight starvation and provide basic medical care for the globe’s most vulnerable and desperate populations. “China—where Musk makes his money—wants USAID destroyed. So does Russia. Trump and Musk are doing the bidding of Beijing and Moscow," said Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT). Incidentally, Musk's Tesla company, which is valued at more than $1 trillion and which made $2.3 billion in 2024, paid $0 in federal income tax. Musk, who is an unelected adjunct to Trump, gleefully referred to the civil servants in the government who work for the American people as “the opposing team.”

Trump's tariffs only hurt Americans
For all you ignorant MAGA Maggots (a.k.a. Trump supporters) out there, let us provide you with a simple lesson on the FACTS of tariffs. We'll make it so simple that even you can understand.
A product is made cheaply in China, destined for sale in the United States. If the product previously sold for $100 in the United States and Trump slapped a 25% tariff on products from China, then that product is now going to sell for $125.00. We know you MAGA Maggots are the poorly educated that Trump loves, so we'll do the math for you: $100.00 + 25% tariff ($25.00) = $125.00.
So, in addition to the $100.00 that you used to pay for a product, who pays the additional $25.00 tariff?

Who do tariffs hurt? Duh, only you, stupid! Your already sorry lot in life is made even more miserable by Trump's tariffs.
Tariffs are charged as a percentage of the price a buyer pays a foreign seller. In the United States, tariffs are collected by Customs and Border Protection agents at 328 ports of entry across the country. Mainstream economists who have forgotten more about how the economy works than Trump ever learned consider tariffs an inefficient way for governments to raise money and promote prosperity.
Trump insists that tariffs are paid for by foreign countries. But Trump is ignorant and those who digest and believe his bullshit are also ignorant. Oh, is that you? Well, if the shoe fits, wear it.
Trump claims that the use of tariffs is the "greatest thing ever invented." Actually, the greatest thing ever invented is Article II, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution, which removes the President from office through impeachment and conviction.
In the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, the government collected around $80 billion in tariffs and fees. That’s a trifle next to the $2.5 trillion that comes from individual income taxes and the $1.7 trillion from Social Security and Medicare taxes — taxes that are already coming out of your pocket! Now Trump wants you to pay even more by enacting a budget policy that resembles what was in place in the 19th century.
Trump even sees tariffs as a way to prevent wars. “I can do it with a phone call,’’ he said at an August rally in North Carolina. If another country tries to start a war, he said he’d issue a threat: “We’re going to charge you 100% tariffs. And all of a sudden, the president or prime minister or dictator or whoever the hell is running the country says to me, ‘Sir, we won’t go to war.’ ” Trump, the "tariff man," is full of shit! He is in serious cognitive decline.
A study by economists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Zurich, Harvard and the World Bank concluded that Trump’s tariffs during his first term failed to restore jobs to the American heartland. The tariffs “neither raised nor lowered U.S. employment’’ where they were supposed to protect jobs, the study found.

Trump's Insurrectionists banned from work in Illinois
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker (D) said he would block Trump's pardoned Capitol rioters from serving in local government positions, citing a state law ordinance. Way to go, JB! Keep these traitorous pigs off the government payroll. Make them unemployable!
“The State’s Personnel Code, administered by the Department of Central Management Services (CMS) and by you as its Director, requires the rejection of candidates for State employment who have engaged in infamous or disgraceful conduct (20 ILCS 415/8b.4),” Pritzker wrote. “To protect the integrity of our workforce and safety of our State, I hereby direct CMS to apply the State Personnel Code and consider any participation in the January 6 insurrection as infamous and disgraceful conduct that is antithetical to the mission of the State.”
Pritzker's sentiments echo those of Capitol Police, lawmakers, onlookers, and America's real citizens who condemned Trump’s decision to pardon nearly 1,500 Capitol insurrectionists, including violent offenders on his first day in office.
“No one who attempts to overthrow a government should serve in government,” Pritzker said.

Since taking office last month, Trump, the convicted felon and dictator, has revoked a 60-year-old executive order that protected equal opportunity in employment and has called for an end to all diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. Beginning today, February 1, neither the Pentagon nor the State Department will recognize Black History Month. During this past month, Trump's executive orders have made it easier for an abusive government (i.e. Trump's dictatorship) to crush dissent later:
- Trump pardoned 1,500 criminal insurrectionists with his lies, reinvigorating goon squads willing to commit violence against democracy and breathing new life into extremist movements
- Trump froze all actions of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, making it easier for police to violate people’s rights and for Republicans to suppress the votes of people of color
- Trump disabled the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, which means illegal government spying on Americans has a better chance of going undetected
We must also denounce assholes like Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville who stuck up for Trump's pardoning of rioters who were responsible for the deaths of five people and the injuring of 174 police officers. Tuberville's television set must have been broken for the last four years because he claimed he hadn’t seen any video of violence by the Jan. 6 convicts.
