Americans don't want what Trump is selling

Trump's MAGA outcasts — those honorable, anti-Trump, centrist Republican legislators who refuse to drink Trump's toxic Kool-Aid — are now scrambling for relevance in a reordered GOP. They know only too well that if they buy into Trump's devious plan of vengeance and retribution, their political futures once the anarchist dies, is assassinated, or declared mentally unfit by his own party, is over. The majority of Americans are not far-right fascist extremists (i.e. MAGA Maggots), but rather level-headed moderates who respect the Constitution and the rule of law, and they expect that from their legislators. Real Americans don't want what Trump and his MAGA cult are selling.

Barbara Comstock, the former Virginia Republican Representative, skewered Trump’s nominees as a Cabinet of “Putinists and pedophiles.” Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley ripped into two of Trump’s top appointees, Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., on her radio show. Haley said that Tulsi Gabbard is a “Russian, Iranian, Syrian, Chinese sympathizer,” and RFK Jr. “has no background in health care.” These Anti-Trumpers believe that together we can still change a Republican Party that has bent its knee and kissed Trump's fat ass. But others, particularly those among the pillars of the original Never-Trump movement, have given up trying to resurrect Republicanism as they knew it and know that they must reform what's left of the Republican Party. Trump's reelection has dimmed the prospects for disaffected Republicans to form a brand new party. Joe Walsh, a former Republican congressman and prominent Trump critic, said, “It’s down to two options. Productively throw rocks at the administration — kind of be like a group in exile and from a distance do what we can to damage MAGA, knowing we can never go back — or become Democrats.”

Those Republicans who opt to productively throw rocks at Trump's new MAGA administration are looking to Congress to continue to hold a line against Trump's more controversial maneuvers. “That is the only way for Trump to be checked … the sort of in-group moderates, the people who are members of the Republican Party who won’t give Trump carte blanche and who will push back against the most damaging things,” said Sarah Longwell, an anti-Trump GOP strategist and publisher of The Bulwark. “You’re going to need people in the Republican Party to not cave completely to Trump.”

“It’s got to start in Congress,” Geoff Duncan, the former Republican lieutenant governor of Georgia who endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris over Trump, said in an interview. “You’ve got to have serious-minded senators willing to hold the conservative line and filter out as much anger and grievance-filled decision-making as possible.”

Thanksgiving Thoughts

We celebrate Thanksgiving today thanks to President Abraham Lincoln and his defense of American democracy during the Civil War — not because the Pilgrims and the Wampanoags shared a feast in the fall of 1621.

The early years of the Civil War did not go well for the Union. By the end of 1862, the armies still held, but people on the home front were losing faith. Leaders recognized the need both to acknowledge the suffering, and yet to keep Americans loyal to the cause. In November and December of 1862, seventeen state governors declared state thanksgiving holidays. New York governor Edwin Morgan’s widely reprinted proclamation about the holiday reflected that the previous year “is numbered among the dark periods of history, and its sorrowful records are graven on many hearthstones.” But this was nonetheless a time for giving thanks, he wrote, because “the precious blood shed in the cause of our country will hallow and strengthen our love and our reverence for it and its institutions…. Our Government and institutions placed in jeopardy have brought us to a more just appreciation of their value.” President Lincoln set Thursday, August 6, 1863, for the national day of thanksgiving. On that day, ministers across the country listed the signal victories of the U.S. Army and Navy in the past year, and reassured their congregations that it was only a matter of time until the United States government put down the southern rebellion.

In October 1863, President Lincoln declared the second national day of Thanksgiving. In the midst of a civil war of unequaled magnitude and severity, he wrote, Americans had maintained their laws and their institutions, and kept foreign countries from meddling with their nation. Today, Americans must maintain our laws and our institutions, and keep autocrats like Trump from meddling with our nation. Americans must ultimately remain loyal to democracy. Trump is only an unfortunate speed bump, a festering wound in the annals of American history.

It is only a matter of time before the citizens of America can similarly put down the dictatorship of Trump and his radical-right MAGA fascists and extremists, and both Democrats and moderate Republicans can celebrate another Thanksgiving together!

Trump and his eldest son are both swindlers and grifters!

Trump, the snake oil salesman, announced this week that he's now selling Trump-branded watches, some of which are priced at $100,000. Trump's latest scam comes after his previous sales scams — silver Trump coins for $100, Trump-branded 'God Bless the USA' bibles for $59.99, worthless NFT Trump trading cards, Trump-branded bottled water, and Trump sneakers for $299.

Trump is a one-man circus side show grifter, and his eldest son, Don, Jr., is now getting in on the act!

Like father, like son! Now Don, Jr., Trump's eldest son, says he is forgoing a job in his daddy's second administration to enrich himself even more than he could with a cushy government gig. The Wall Street Journal reported last week on Trump Jr.’s latest grift: working with a venture capital firm that invests in “the parallel economy.” Don, Jr. joined a businessman, Omeed Malik, at a venture capital firm called 1789 Capital to make it all happen. 1789 Capital's other founders include Rebekah Mercer, the daughter of a hedge-fund chief who was one of Trump’s earliest megadonors, and Chris Buskirk, a conservative publisher who co-founded a Trump-aligned donor network with Vice President-elect JD Vance.

The parallel economy is essentially the sector of MAGA-branded products that extreme-right conservatives have sold to their ignorant MAGA followers in recent years as a way to try to stick it to liberals. The parallel economy is for people who seemingly want to make everything a political statement, from the water they drink to the wireless network they use. The Economist wrote, "Before paying your monthly AT&T bill, you might want to switch to Patriot Mobile, the nation’s one-and-only Christian conservative wireless network." Trump's pick for defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, is already an investor in the parallel economy, selling conservative-branded coffee in his spare time.

So, Americans, keep a watchful eye out in your shopping cart to be certain you're not buying any of Don, Jr.'s worthless MAGA-branded crap.

Trump is governance by social media

Think of the days before the Internet — before social media. The World Wide Web (WWW) was released into the public domain on April 30, 1993 when the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) released the source code for the WWW royalty-free. The WWW was created by Tim Berners-Lee who used a NeXT computer to develop HTML and HTTP, which allowed for interconnected web pages. (Note: Of course, we don't expect you ignorant MAGA Maggots out there to have the mental capacity to understand this). Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, along with YouTube and Wikipedia, were introduced in the mid-2000's.

If it weren't for social media, Trump would still be just another fat, draft-dodging, failed businessman on his third marriage who claimed bankruptcy six times — a grifter selling Trump bibles and gym shoes on the street corner.

Trump is governance by social media. Think about it — without social media, Trump would continue to be a nothing, a nobody, a has-been, a LOSER. Social media is Trump's "bully pulpit" from which he does his late-night pontificating to his MAGA base before they scurry off to the coal mines or the cotton fields or the next insurrection.

Trump announced on his social media site that he intends to impose a 25% tariff on all products coming into the U.S. from Mexico and Canada “until such time as Drugs, in particular Fentanyl, and all Illegal Aliens stop this Invasion of our Country!” He claimed that they could solve the problem “easily” and that until they do, “it is time for them to pay a very big price!” Who's "them," Little Donnie? Trump is a low-IQ, idiot's idiot! A 25% tariff means a 25% increase in prices to the American people because tariffs are nothing but a tax on the American consumers. The "them" Trump refers to is us, but he, like his MAGA base, is too stupid to understand basic economics.

Sadly, Trump ended his social media posting with “Thank you for your attention to this matter,” as though social media was America's new platform for governance.

Take away Trump's social media platform, and you take away Trump. Get to it, hackers! So until the hackers shut Trump down, we can all do our part by not listening to anything the asshole has to say. Trump simply isn't worth it.

Democrats' policies work - Trump's don't!

DEMOCRATS' accomplishments far outweigh the Republicans

Trump, the slimy weasel, is quick to lambast and complain, but he can't point to any accomplishments during his term in office because there aren't any noteworthy accomplishments to speak of. Unfortunately, Trump's loudmouth lambasting gets all the press. But the Democrats have been busy doing the work of the people instead of complaining, and President Biden's accomplishments during his term in office are noteworthy.

In the last four years, the DEMOCRATS did the following:

Grew the economy from the middle out and bottom up, not the top down
Passed legislation to rebuild our infrastructure, build a clean energy economy, and bring manufacturing back to the United States after decades of offshoring
Invested in America, which included the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that is rebuilding our roads, bridges, water systems, ports, and airports, as well as making high-speed broadband available in underserved areas
Passed the CHIPS and Science Act that invested in bringing the manufacture of silicon chips back to the U.S. and promoted research
Passed the Inflation Reduction Act, which invested in technologies to combat climate change
Created more than 1.6 million construction and manufacturing jobs

All of the above have attracted more than $1 trillion in private-sector investments.

“These investments in industries of the future,” President Biden wrote, “are ensuring the future is made in America, by American workers.”

White House deputy chief of staff Natalie Quillian wrote: “The progress we've made...represents only a fraction of the full impact of this agenda. If future Administrations continue to implement at the pace we have, people across the country will enjoy the benefits of safer water, cleaner air, faster internet, and smoother commutes.”

Under Trump, however, the Republicans are pushing a different, myopic economic vision — one that experts say will not work. Trump has emphasized cutting taxes for the wealthy and corporations and slashing regulations, and that concentrating wealth in the hands of fat-cat investors will spur more investment. How will this help ordinary people? Trump's "experiment" has already been tried in Louisiana, and it failed. Louisiana cut income taxes to a flat 3% rate, reducing state revenue by about $1.3 billion. They made up that revenue by increasing the sales tax to 5%, thus shifting the burden of taxation to the lower- and middle-class families across the state. The wealthy and corporations got the Republican tax cuts, and the ordinary citizens paid the price! This is Trump's evil plan!

During his campaign, Trump promised to fight for ordinary Americans. Trump lied again. Yesterday Trump announced he will impose massive 25% tariffs on ALL goods coming from Mexico, Canada and China starting on the first day of his administration, a policy that will sharply increase costs for American businesses and consumers. Experts have reminded Trump that tariffs are taxes paid by Americans, not by the countries on which the tariffs are imposed; but Trump is far too stupid to understand these basic concepts. Remember, MAGA Maggots, Trump is the one who is so incompetent that he filed for bankruptcy six times! Trump is a f*cking fool!

Many of Trump’s picks to fill offices in his administration are billionaires and others noted for their extreme wealth. U.S. News and World Report estimated the worth of Trump’s current roster of appointees to be at least $344.4 billion, more than the gross domestic product of 169 countries. The total net worth of the officials in Biden’s Cabinet was only about $118 million.

The interests of Trump's appointees are not the interests of the American people.

Trump, the Filthy Traitor and Convicted Felon who illegally stole sensitive documents from the White House, caused an insurrection, and then refused to return the documents when the government requested them back, escaped prosecution when prosecutor Jack Smith dropped the charges.

Does his mean Trump is innocent? Absolutely not! The TRAITOR is still as guilty as ever, but a long-standing Justice Department policy says that a sitting president cannot be criminally charged, and the statute of limitations to prosecute Trump will run out before the end of his term, if the fascist traitor lives that long.

Everyone knows that Trump is still GUILTY and should be executed for being the traitor that he is to the United States of America!

Trump lied about 'Project 2025'

Trump distanced himself from Project 2025 during the campaign because it was so unpopular. Trump lied, denying he knew anything about it, calling it “ridiculous and abysmal,” and on September 16 the leader of Trump’s transition team, Howard Lutnick, said there were “Absolutely zero. No connection. Zero” ties between the team and Project 2025. Now, though, Trump has done an about-face and has said he will nominate at least five people associated with Project 2025 to his administration — Russell Vought, Tom Homan, John Ratcliffe, Brendan Carr, and Stephen Miller.

Russell Vought is one of Project 2025's key authors, who calls for dramatically increasing the powers of the president. Tom Homan, who as acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), oversaw the separation of children from their parents. John Ratcliffe was one whom the Senate refused in 2019 to confirm as Director of National Intelligence because he had no experience in intelligence. Brendan Carr, whom Trump wants to put at the head of the Federal Communications Commission, is already trying to silence critics by warning he will punish broadcasters who Trump feels have been unfair to him. Stephen Miller is the fervently anti-immigrant ideologue.

As historian Heather Cox Richardson eloquently points out, "Project 2025 calls for the creation of an extraordinarily strong president who will gut the civil service and replace its nonpartisan officials with those who are loyal to the president. It calls for filling the military and the Department of Justice with those loyal to the president. And then, the project plans that with his new power, the president will impose Christian nationalism on the United States of America, ending immigration, and curtailing rights for LGBTQ+ individuals as well as women and racial and ethnic minorities."

"Project 2025" is Trump's 21st century version of Mein Kampf, the 1925 manifesto by Adolf Hitler, the Nazi party leader and Trump's mentor.

Trump is a weak, 78-year-old man who is declining mentally and who neither commands a majority of voters nor has shown signs of being able to transfer his voters to a leader in waiting. The world knows that Trump is a worthless, incessant liar and an evil, autocratic dictator who needs to be resisted and ousted.

Trump, the Adulterer, gets away scot-free, despite 34 Felony Convictions!

Trump, the ADULTERER and FELON who can't keep his pants zipped, got away with it.

This past Friday, November 22nd, Judge Juan Merchan ordered to postpone Trump's sentencing indefinitely and allow attorneys to file motions to dismiss the hush-money case. The initial sentencing date of November 26th has been canceled, and no date has been given for future sentencing hearings.

The charges came from Trump making $130,000 in hush-money payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels to cover up their illicit affair before the 2016 election through his then-fixer, Michael Cohen. The jury in the case rested in May, convicting Trump on all 34 counts of falsifying financial records and making him a FELON — the first time any president was successfully prosecuted on criminal charges. But now Trump is getting away scot-free. Trump's standard strategy to delay, delay, delay worked perfectly.

So it's no wonder that four of Trump’s cabinet and staff picks have been accused of sexual misconduct and/or assault: Matt Gaetz, Pete Hegseth, RFK Jr. and Elon Musk. Trump picks like-minded assholes who have no moral compass and feel that they are above the law like he is.

Trump got less than 50% of the popular vote!

Trump may have won 312 electoral votes, but it's now been confirmed that Trump LOST the popular vote. Trump won reelection by less than 50% of the vote, and his vice president is not popular. The policies Trump is embracing are so unpopular that he himself ran away from them when he was campaigning (e.g. Project 2025). And Trump fell 4 million votes short of President Joe Biden in 2020.

Trump's LYING EMAILS to his MAGA Maggot base are touting a "landslide victory." Wrong! Another Trump lie — an attempt to create the illusion of power to push his agenda! Trump LOST the popular vote.

Michael Schaffer, senior editor and columnist at Politico wrote, "Yes, Republicans get to feel like winners, which is fun. On the other hand, even in this moment of triumph, they’re really not that popular. A narrative of 2024 that depicted them wheezing into office with an unimpressive vote count might trigger some conversations they need to have, too: Why is a party that promises lower taxes alienating so many of the successful folks who benefit from lower taxes? How many ways can you spell 'SCUM?'

Associated Press reported that a woman told police that she was sexually assaulted in 2017 by Pete Hegseth after he took her phone, blocked the door to a California hotel room and refused to let her leave, according to a detailed investigative report made public late Wednesday. The woman who was assaulted told police that she had witnessed Hegseth acting inappropriately throughout the night and saw him stroking multiple women’s thighs.

At the time of the assault, Hegseth was going through a divorce with his second wife, with whom he has three children. She filed for divorce after he had a child with a Fox News producer who is now his third wife, according to court records and social media posts by Hegseth. His first marriage ended in 2009, also after infidelity by Hegseth, according to court records.

This is the SCUM that Trump has nominated for Defense Secretary! Trump, a convicted sexual abuser himself, sees no problem with nominating another sexual abuser. Trump has no problem with it because he has no moral compass.

Hegseth left the Army in 2021, according to Reuters, after being labeled an "extremist." A fellow service member who was the unit’s security guard and on an anti-terrorism team flagged Hegseth to their unit’s leadership because one of his tattoos is used by white supremacists. Hegseth has no relevant experience to run a crucial United States government department, let alone one that oversees close to 3 million personnel and a budget of more than $800 billion.

Jonathan Chait of The Atlantic did a deep dive into Hegseth’s recent books and concluded that Hegseth “considers himself to be at war with basically everybody to Trump’s left, and it is by no means clear that he means war metaphorically.” Hegseth’s books suggest he thinks that everything that does not support the MAGA worldview is “Marxist,” including voters choosing Democrats at the voting booth. He calls for the “categorical defeat of the Left” and says that without its “utter annihilation,” “America cannot, and will not, survive.”

There are a number of ways to think about Trump’s appointments. The people he has picked have so little experience in the fields their departments handle that Erin Burnett of CNN suggested that he is simply choosing them from “central casting” — a favorite phrase of his — to look as he imagines such officials should. Zachary B. Wolf of CNN pointed out that Trump’s picks look "exactly like Fox News." As Heather Cox Richardson pointed out, "That so many of [Trump's] appointees have histories of sexual misconduct is also striking, and underlines both that they share his determination to dominate others and that they do not think rules and laws apply to them." Richardson went on, saying, “Trump's proposed appointments — Kennedy, Jr.; Gaetz; Musk; Ramaswamy; Hegseth; Gabbard — are perfect instruments. They combine narcissism, incompetence, corruption, sexual incontinence, personal vulnerability, dangerous convictions, and foreign influence as no group before them has done.”

Trump Ass-Sniffer withdrew his name for Attorney General

Trump Ass-Sniffer Matt Gaetz withdrew his name from consideration for the position of Attorney General after he feared opposition from Senate Republicans over his accusations of sex trafficking and having sex with a 17-year-old girl. Gaetz also resigned his position in Congress so that the report with the findings of the House Ethics Committee on his misconduct would then not be released.

Gaetz, who was nominated by Trump last week for Attorney General, never worked at the Justice Department nor served as a prosecutor at any level of government. Like Trump, Gaetz is unqualified.

Trump LIED about 'Project 2025'

Surprise! Trump LIED again! Is it any wonder why no one believes this worthless, lying pig?

Russell Vought, one of Project 2025's key architects, told undercover filmmakers that Trump was only running away from the project as political cover. CBS News reported that two sources close to the Trump transition team have told them that they expect Trump to name Vought to lead the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Vought was Trump’s OMB director during the end of his first term and tried to remove the civil service protections that have been in place since 1883 to protect federal workers from being fired for political reasons.

Vought wrote the section of Project 2025 that covers the presidency, calling for “aggressive use of the vast powers of the executive branch” to “bend or break the bureaucracy to the presidential will” and identifying the OMB as the means of enforcing the president’s agenda.

Claiming they have a "mandate," Trump’s MAGA Maggots have said they are launching “a hostile takeover” of the American government “on behalf of the American people.” But as voting numbers continue to come in, Trump’s majority has fallen below 50% of voters, meaning that more voters chose someone else than chose Trump on November 5. These results are far from being in “mandate” territory.

This is the worthless, lying pig the MAGA Maggots elected to office.

What are you, really?

Are you an authoritarian or a libertarian?

Sociologist Jonathan Haidt identifies authority as one of the values that separate liberal and conservative mindsets, with those on the right placing higher priority on obeying tradition and respecting authority. In a similar way, conservatives (especially religious conservatives) are commonly portrayed as committed to authority at extreme levels — with the word "authoritarian" often used disapprovingly to convey this belief in a conservative-specific pattern of being easily led by those in authority.

A meaningful contrast with the word “authoritarian” can be found in the word “libertarian” — someone unwilling to give a large degree of control to anyone or anything, because they consider most forms of authority to be illegitimate. It’s common for liberal/progressive and secular communities to be portrayed as questioning or challenging authority, while conservative and religious communities are portrayed as accepting or respecting authority to a greater degree.

People piece together their views of what sources of authority are legitimate uses of the word “authority” based on their experiences. But most people share the commonality of relishing some kind of authority and challenging other kinds. Instead of asking each other whether we accept authority, it might be better to ask which forms of authority we find legitimate, and why.

If you consider yourself leaning conservative, to what extent are you willing to give sources such as church, politics, family, science, community, academia, history, or accomplishment control over your life? Think of a situation in which that authority did something you did not respect, then ask yourself whether or not you're truly an authoritarian. Then think of a time when an authority you don’t respect did something you admire.

We believe in democracy as the form of government on which the United States was formed. Others, like Trump, are dictatorial autocrats and far-right conservatives who want complete control. That is not government by the people and for the people. They are traitors to America and the ideals on which America was formed, and should be ousted. We live in a democracy, not a kingdom.

Democrat locks in $6.6 Billion semiconductor deal

While Trump is off nominating sexual abusers and MAGA Maggots for his administration, DEMOCRAT Gina Raimondo, Secretary of Commerce, locked in a $6.6 billion deal with the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company for it to invest $65 billion in three state-of-the-art fabrication plants in Arizona. This will bring thousands of jobs to the state.

Raimondo studied at Harvard University, Yale Law School, and Oxford University. She is one highly educated and qualified member of President Biden's administration; not sexual abusers and sex traffickers like Trump is busy nominating.

Trump has picked one loser after another for his new shit show, and he's skipping background checks by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, claiming that they are slow and intrusive.

Some of Trump's picks have even been accused of sexual assault and sex-trafficking, but that doesn't matter to Trump, a convicted sexual abuser himself!

Timothy Snyder, authoritarianism expert and history professor at Yale, slammed Trump's controversial Cabinet picks and explained why he believes they are intentionally terrible. “These appointments are not just poor choices in the traditional sense,” Snyder told MSNBC’s Ali Velshi. “Each of them individually is historically bad,” he acknowledged. “But taken together, these are not people who are going to be bad at their jobs in some sort of normal sense. Taken together, these appointments suggest an attempt to actually make the American government dysfunctional, to make it fall apart, to pervert it, to have it do things that it’s not supposed to do until it’s not capable of doing anything at all.”

Remember Matt Gaetz, the far-right Congressman that even the Republicans decried as a "person of moral turpitude?" That's the idiot who Trump picked as his new attorney general, the nation’s chief law enforcement officer in the justice department, who directs the government’s legal positions on critical issues, including abortion, civil rights, and first amendment cases. Gaetz was, at one point, investigated by the justice department in a sex-trafficking case. Immediately after Trump said he would nominate Gaetz, the representative resigned his congressional seat, forestalling the release of a House Ethics Committee report concerning allegations of drug use and that Gaetz had taken a seventeen-year-old high-schooler across state lines for sex. So it's not surprising that Trump, a convicted sexual abuser himself, would nominate someone investigated for sex crimes. Apples don't fall far from the tree. Trump highlighted that Gaetz had played “a key role in defeating the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax.” Vice-President Kamala Harris’s team said in a statement that Trump and Gaetz “will weaponize the Department of Justice to protect themselves and their allies.”

Trump selected Florida Senator Marco Rubio (a.k.a. Little Marco), longtime China hawk, as Secretary of State. China imposed a travel ban on Rubio over his criticisms of the Chinese Communist Party's actions in Xinjiang and Hong Kong.

Longtime Trump loyalist Dan Scavino is returning to the White House as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff.

Stephen Miller, known for influencing Trump's immigration policy during the first term, is returning to the White House as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for Policy and Homeland Security adviser.

James Blair is joining as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for Legislative, Political, and Public Affairs. Blair previously served as political director for the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee.

Taylor Budowich will be assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for Communications and Personnel. Budowich served in a senior role in Trump's Leadership PAC, Save America, and as CEO of the pro-Trump Super PAC, MAGA Inc.

Susie Wiles is Trump's newly appointed Chief of Staff. She is known for leading Trump's 2016 Florida campaign and his 2024 national campaign.

Tom Homan is Trump's new "border czar." Homan is a former Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He is known for his firm stance on border security. Just what democracy needs is a "border czar!" Good grief!

Trump has appointed Lee Zeldin, who mounted a failed bid for governor of New York in 2022 and who left Congress in 2023, as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. Zeldin has expressed mixed views on climate change and environmental policy throughout his political career. During his eight years in Congress, he did not serve on committees overseeing environmental policy and had a lifetime score of 14 percent from the League of Conservation Voters, an environmental advocacy group. Zeldin frequently voted against the Clean Air Act.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is being tapped as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. Remember, she's the one who described shooting her 14-month old dog Cricket after concluding it was "untrainable," and who has been banned from the lands of several Native American tribes.

Pete Hegseth is Trump's choice for Secretary of Defense. Hegseth is a Fox News host who left the Army in 2021, according to Reuters, after being labeled an "extremist." Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) shut down Hegseth on Wednesday over his remarks that women shouldn’t serve in military combat roles, saying to CNN's Kaitlan Collins, "Where do you think I lost my legs? In a bar fight? I’m pretty sure I was in combat when that happened.” Duckworth referred to Trump’s pick as “dangerous” and a “wholly unqualified.” The secretary of defense also has access to the nuclear command-and-control procedure. A fellow service member who was the unit’s security guard and on an anti-terrorism team flagged Hegseth to their unit’s leadership because one of his tattoos is used by white supremacists. Extremist tattoos are prohibited by army regulations. Also, a woman accused Hegseth of sexually assaulting her after a Republican conference in Monterey, California, in 2017; but the woman said she had signed a nondisclosure agreement with Hegseth after he paid her an undisclosed amount. Hegseth has no relevant experience to run a crucial United States government department, let alone one that oversees close to 3 million personnel and a budget of more than $800 billion.

Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) is Trump's pick as national security adviser. Waltz is a Green Beret veteran who served in Afghanistan, the Middle East and Africa. Since 2019, he has represented a congressional district in the House, where he's a member of the Armed Services, Foreign Affairs and Intelligence committees. Waltz has criticized U.S. aid to Ukraine in its war against Russia.

Trump picked Tulsi Gabbard to be the Director of National Intelligence. Gabbard’s ties to America’s adversaries, including Russia’s president Vladimir Putin and Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, have raised serious questions about her loyalty. As former Illinois representative Joe Walsh wrote: “Donald Trump just picked someone to oversee our intelligence who, herself, couldn’t pass a security clearance check. She couldn’t get security clearance. She couldn’t get a job in our intelligence community. Because she’s too compromised by Russia. Yet Trump picked her to run the whole thing.”

Trump’s pick for chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is Brendan Carr. He wrote the FCC chapter in "Project 2025," and now he's Trump's pick to lead the agency.

Trump's pick to lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is Dr. Mehmet Oz (a.k.a. "Dr. Oz"), a former television talk show host. Oz ran a failed 2022 bid to represent Pennsylvania in the U.S. Senate. Oz would report to Robert F. Kennedy, who Trump is picking to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

Linda McMahon, co-founder and former CEO of the WWE professional wrestling franchise, is Trump's pick for education secretary, a department Trump has proposed abolishing.

Trump has been vocal about his plans to do things differently in his second administration, moving quickly to assemble a cabinet of individuals he expects to be loyal. Trump's not interested in qualifications; he's more interested in those who are loyal to himself as dictator.Trump demanded that the Senate recess in order for him to push through his choices as recess appointments.

“People voted for Trump to have lower prices and a secure border. I don’t think they voted for the appointments that they’re getting,” Congressman Ro Khanna of California told CBS News. “He is not moving to the center. He’s going to his MAGA base, and we’ll see if he’s overreaching on the mandate he had from the American people.”

Trump's picks show his intent to turn the U.S. government into a vehicle for his own revenge. Trump has begun moving to put into power individuals whose only qualifications are their willingness to do as he demands and who will push his war on his cultural enemies forward.

However, at 78, Trump is not exactly the face of the party’s future. Trump remains old and mentally slipping, and he is increasingly isolated as people fight over the power he has brought within their grasp. Trump is clearly incompetent and in cognitive decline. Falling into line behind Trump at this point is not necessarily a good move for a Republican interested in a future political career. Even Melania declined the traditional invitation from First Lady Jill Biden for tea at the White House and suggested she will not be returning to the presidential mansion with her husband. She can't use raising Barron as a lame excuse any more. Nobody with a brain wants to follow Trump.

Trump has selected Chris Wright, a campaign donor and CEO of Denver-based Liberty Energy, a fossil fuel, fracking executive who has been one of the industry’s loudest voices against efforts to fight climate change, to serve as Secretary of the Department of Energy.

Fracking is controversial because of oil and gas’s contribution to climate change, as well as fracking’s links to earthquakes and childhood cancers.

The day after Trump won the 2024 presidential election, Afghanistan’s Taliban offered its congratulations to the American people for “not handing leadership of their great country to a woman.” The medieval Taliban mentality prohibits girls’ education past the sixth grade and recently banned the sound of women’s voices outside their homes. The Taliban are nothing but pigs and cockroaches and need to be exterminated from the earth. In September, as the Taliban enforced new rules on women in Afghanistan, they also began to target Afghan men, mandating that men stop wearing western jeans, stop cutting their hair and beards in western ways, and stop looking at women other than their wives or female relatives. Some Afghan men have now been wondering if they should have spoken up to defend the freedoms of their wives and daughters. Absolutely! This slippery slope is no different than Trump's plan for eroding our rights as part of his dictatorial takeover, and why we must RESIST TRUMP at every step.

For all you ignorant MAGA Maggots (a.k.a. Trump supporters) out there who only have the mental capacity to read far-right news media lies and comic books, mainstream ABC News reported that in 2023 Trump allegedly spilled potentially sensitive information about U.S. nuclear submarines to Anthony Pratt, the Australian billionaire, who in turn shared the secrets with dozens of other people, including journalists and foreign officials. The information, reportedly shared at the Mar-a-Lago country club, allegedly included the exact number of nuclear warheads routinely carried by submarines, as well as the distance the submersibles can maintain to go undetected by Russian submarines. Now Pratt, who has been a member of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club since 2017, is packing his bags to move from down under to the U.S. following Trump’s successful reelection bid. Pratt’s move coincides with Trump’s election win, which snowballed the wealth of billionaires in a post-election stock surge. Pratt, who was worth $12.3 billion according to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, was no exception, becoming $311 million wealthier the day after Trump’s win.

If this accusation about Trump spilling nuclear secrets is proven true, Trump should be executed as a TRAITOR to the United States of America!

This weekend Trump announced that Tom Homan would serve as his “border czar.” In February, 2022, Homan went to the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida, and took a seat among a group of white supremacists at the American First Political Action Conference (AFPAC). At the AFPAC, racist Nick Fuentes praised Adolf Hitler, while other speakers cheered on Putin’s bombing of Ukraine and called for Dr. Anthony Fauci to be hanged. QAnon Bitch Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) gave a speech in which she told the assembled white supremacists they had a “responsibility to fight for our Constitution and stand for our freedoms, and stop the Democrats, who are the communist party of the United States of America.”

Last month, weeks before Trump's electoral win, Homan sat down with CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” promising to round up immigrants at their workplaces if Trump brought him into his second administration. Asked if there was a way to carry out mass deportations without separating people from their families, Homan said, “Of course there is,” adding bluntly, “Families can be deported together.”

In addressing our nation's Democratic governors, Homan said, "If they're not willing to help, then get the hell out of the way because Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is going to do their job."

That's right! Trump fed Americans a Trojan Horse. In other words, Trump DECEIVED and LIED to Americans!

The election autopsy shows that ignorant people will continue to watch, listen to, and believe far-right, conspiracy-filled social media and fake news channels at the expense of real news. As a result, MAGA Maggots clearly did not hear the truth of how bad things are going to be under Trump. We're in a swirl of disinformation, and Trump supporters actually voted for things that were the opposite of what they say they wanted. Trump's game plan was selling a migrant invasion and a trans invasion, and this simply is fake news — it's not real. At the same time Trump attempted to erase the things that are real. Objectively, our 2024 economy is the best we've had since the 1960's. Real wages for 80% of Americans have gone up, not down as Trump maintains. Income for the top 20% of Americans has gone down, but MAGA Maggots don't know that. Trump is following Hitler and Orban's playbook, namely that the real problem is to blame "those people." The Nazi's said that it doesn't even matter who "those people" are because you're really not trying to fix the problem; you're only trying to keep your support bloc behind you. This was Trump's plan, and it will continue.

The ignorance of Trump supporters was brought to light when Republican strategist Sarah Longwell, who studies focus groups, told National Public Radio, “When I ask voters in focus groups if they think Trump is an authoritarian, the #1 response by far is, ‘What is an authoritarian?’” Amanda Marcotte of Salon wrote: “A lot of voters are profoundly ignorant. More so than in the past.” Tariffs are clearly a tax on the middle class, but the MAGA Maggots were misinformed and convinced by Trump that slapping tariffs on China is going to solve our economic problems. Every economist has told us that's exactly backwards. Trump supporters aren't just misinformed on the issues by the far-right media outlets — Trump supporters are just plain stupid!

So, let's say it again — Ignorant MAGA Maggots are the problem in America! Their degree of ignorance is mind-blowing.

The far-right got people to vote for AUTOCRACY and to vote away their democracy by providing a false world, a false narrative, for them to believe in.

There are also stories that voters who chose Trump to lower household expenses are unhappy to discover that their undocumented relatives are in danger of deportation. Surprise, ignorant MAGA Maggots!

Yesterday a Trump-appointed federal judge struck down a policy established by the Biden administration that was designed to create an easier path to citizenship for about half a million undocumented immigrants who are married to U.S. citizens. We warned you. Pack your bags and get ready to be deported.

Trump is looking to fill the top ranks of the government with billionaires, former CEOs, tech leaders and loyalists, and they are not going to look out for the middle class. It's clear — voters who were lied to by Trump about immigration, crime, and the economy tended to vote Republican, while those who knew the facts voted Democratic.

Ignorant MAGA Maggots are the problem. For information, they turn to social media or to friends and family who traffic in conspiracy theories. Senator Elizabeth Warren Is Absolutely Correct!

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) unveiled her plan for Democrats “to fight back” following Trump’s decisive election win.

This is a plan that the Democrats MUST DO, and they must do it FAST.

Warren concluded that “Democrats currently in office must work with urgency.” Warren urged Pentagon leaders to “issue a directive now reiterating that the military’s oath is to the Constitution,” and not to Trump, the convicted felon. Senator Warren added that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) must “use every minute of the end-of-year legislative session to confirm federal judges and key regulators — none of whom can be removed by the next President.”

More than 67 million people voted for Democrats and they don’t expect us to roll over and play dead. We learned from Trump's standard operating procedure that one of his primary tactics was delay, delay, delay. So let's use that against him. Democrats must file lawsuit after lawsuit to tie up the Republican's agenda in the courts for as long as possible and expose Republican extremism. Litigation can slow Trump down. Trump did it to the Democrats; we can do it to him. Democrats' sustained resistance ultimately shifted the politics of health care repeal, the Republicans ultimately lost, and the Affordable Care Act survived.

Democrats should also acknowledge that seeking a middle ground with a tyrant who calls immigrants “animals” and says he will “protect” women “whether the women like it or not” is unlikely to land in a good place. Uniting against Trump’s legislative agenda is good politics because it is simply good policy.

The political position we’re in is not permanent, and we have the power to make change if we fight for it.

Senator Warren said, "Remember, every step toward progress in American history came after the darkness of defeat. Abolitionists, suffragettes, Dreamers, and marchers for civil rights and marriage equality all faced impossible odds, but they persisted. Now it is our turn to pull up our socks and get back in the fight."

Trump's new dictatorial society

Margaret Atwood’s “The Handmaid’s Tale,” a novel set in a dictatorial, totalitarian society, has shot to the top of Amazon’s bestselling books list following convicted felon Trump's reelection, with a whopping 6,866% surge in sales.

In Atwood's tale, environmental disasters and declining birth rates have led to a Second American Civil War. The result is a rise of a totalitarian regime that enforces rigid social roles and enslaves the few remaining fertile women. “The Handmaid’s Tale” takes place in a theocratic, male-dominated future America where the US Constitution is suspended, media is censored and women are forced to bear children for the ruling class.

But under Trump's autocratic regime, following his mentor, Adolf Hitler, and other modern day Trump influencers like Hungary's Viktor Orban, could this tale become a reality? This book is a dire warning.

Read it while it's still allowed under Trump's dictatorship.

The convicted felon's victory kicks off a 75-day period before Inauguration Day arrives on Jan. 20th in which his transition team will work to fill roughly 4,000 government positions with political appointees — MAGA Maggots who are specifically tapped for their jobs by Trump’s team. That includes everyone from the Secretary of State and other heads of Cabinet departments to those selected to serve part time on boards and commissions. Around 1,200 of those presidential appointments require Senate confirmation, which should be easier with the Senate now shifting to Republican control.

It also calls for instituting religious rule, including an end to abortion rights, across the U.S. Part of the idea of “purifying” the country is the deportation of undocumented immigrants: Trump promised to deport 20 million people at an estimated cost of $88 billion to $315 billion a year. White nationalist Nick Fuentes posted, “Your body, my choice. Forever,” and gloated that men will now legally control women’s bodies. Kate Gibson of CBS noted that on Monday, the National Retail Federation said that Trump’s proposed tariffs will cost American consumers between $46 billion and $78 billion a year.

The TRAITOROUS PIG wins the White House

The Associated Press reported that Trump, the convicted felon and traitorous pig, won enough electoral votes to win back the White House. With Trump's win, the Republican Party has proven that it is populated and led by low-IQ lunatics. These voters have voted to renounce democracy and install an unhinged, vindictive, autocratic dictator.

Trump's loud, uneducated group of low-IQ MAGA Maggots have spoken. Trump's white supremacists, fascists, and neo-Nazi's want an incompetent, mentally deranged, felonous insurrectionist and malignant narcissist in cognitive decline as their cult leader in the White House.

Trump's victory virtually guarantees that he will never face serious legal accountability for an avalanche of any of his traitorous wrongdoings. In short, Trump is now his own judge and jury, insulated from criminal consequences.

In addition to Trump's win, pro-Trump MAGA Maggot Elon Musk posted messaging tied to QAnon, one of the most noxious, brain-corroding conspiracy theories circulating among the ignorant MAGA Maggots. Musk's video message is set to clips of Trump promising vengeance and eternal victory: “If you do something bad to us, we are going to do things to you that have never been done before,” Trump warns in one clip. “2024 is our final battle,” he says in another. At one point in the video, as Trump says, “The future belongs to patriots,” the word “PATRIQTS” flashes across the screen. Then all the letters except Q disappear. That’s a clear reference to QAnon. This is the kind of WORTHLESS SCUM that was elected yesterday.

The future of democracy is at risk.

Today is Election Day!

Be sure to cast your ballot for Vice President Kamala Harris — a patriot — for the continuation of democracy in the United States.

Quincy Jones died Sunday, but traitors like Trump live on. Legendary music producer Quincy Jones, an influential figure in music for over seven decades, died at age 91.

A real achiever, Jones was a member of the elite EGOT club, having won an Emmy, 28 Grammy awards, an honorary Oscar, and a Tony! Trump, on the other hand, is a LOSER and a member of the failing MAGA cult — Make America Gag Again.

Quincy had friends like Frank Sinatra, Leslie Gore, and Michael Jackson. Newly released tape recordings reveal that Trump's "closest friend" was disgraced financier, sex offender, and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Quincy produced "We Are the World," one of the bestselling singles of all time, and Michael Jackson's "Thriller," one of the bestselling albums. Trump didn't even author his book, The Art of the Deal — it was actually ghost-written by Tony Schwartz.

Quincy wrote the musical scores for nearly 40 movies. Trump illegally steals songs from others to play at his rallies.

Trump's still playing the migrant blame game!

Trump was in Whitewater, Wisconsin yesterday continuing to blame migrants for transforming it into a "Third World hell hole." Trump is a lying piece of garbage who also said that “diseases are spreading like wildfire” and “police can’t handle the surge in crime” after being “flooded … with an estimated 2,000 migrants from Venezuela and Nicaragua, very tough ones, very tough people in that group.”

In Whitewater — and Charleroi, Pennsylvania, Springfield, Ohio, and Aurora, Colorado — time and again, local officials have refuted Trump's characterizations and slammed his vile and lying rhetoric, including many officials who are Republicans. Whitewater’s police chief, Dan Meyer, refuted Trump’s claims.

In Springfield, Ohio, Mayor Rob Rue and Gov. Mike DeWine — both Republicans — have repeatedly blasted Trump for platforming a baseless conspiracy that Haitian migrants there were eating residents’ pets.

Aurora’s Republican Mayor Mike Coffman said that Aurora, Colorado is a considerably safe city — not a city overrun by Venezuelan gangs.

Local officials in Charleroi, PA have welcomed the migrants, who they say are breathing new life into their stunted rust belt economies.

Trump just lies and lies and lies and lies, and his incredibly ignorant MAGA Maggots believe all the bullshit that spews forth from his filthy mouth. Trump's MAGA Maggots are the real problem in America!

Kamala Harris - America's 47th President!

Trump is about to become an ugly footnote in U.S. history

Students will find Trump relegated to “worst presidents” lists and books and articles about corruption, liars, and traitors — nothing more than an ugly footnote in U.S. history.

Kamala Harris is the bright future. Trump is the sad past. Trump is the LOSER, and he knows it. On Election Day next Tuesday, American voters will embrace that change.

The Daily Beast reported that when the final votes are counted, Harris will have outperformed the vast majority of polls and won by a more substantial majority than most commentators expected. Trump will whine and howl and contest the vote with numerous baseless lawsuits. But in the end Trump's conspiracy theories and unfounded legal challenges and intrigues will again be as unsuccessful as they were in 2020 and 2021.

Kamala Harris' public speeches were permeated with a new energy and vision that was desperately needed in American politics. Harris sliced, diced, and julienned Trump like a Veg-O-Matic at their one and only debate.

Harris raised vastly more campaign funds than Trump. Unlike Trump, Harris did not divert any funds to legal defense funds nor did she distract from fundraising efforts with the sale of Home Fascism Network tchotchkes like Trump's golden sneakers, overpriced watches, electronic trading cards, Trump-branded bibles, or souvenir books. Harris' money went to supporting a grassroots network many times the size of Trump’s, run by professionals — unlike Trump’s which is being farmed out to the likes of Elon Musk, who knows absolutely squat about politics.

Pollsters will have been proven wrong because it underestimated the anger of women at the repeal of Roe v. Wade, as well as the disappointment of Trump’s pick of misogynist troll JD Vance as his running mate.

Trump-Vance-MAGA is the most anti-woman ticket in history, and women have noticed and are voting accordingly. Yesterday Trump told Tucker Carlson that Liz Cheney is “a radical war hawk. Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK? Let’s see how she feels about it, you know, when the guns are trained on her face.” This is the hate spewing out of the mouth of an undeserved and unfit presidential candidate. Women have taken notice and the gender gap is very bad news for Trump.

Harris will win a previously unimaginable number of Republican voters, perhaps 15 to 20 percent of the GOP vote in some states, and that will also come as a shock to political modelers. So too will higher turnout among young voters more broadly and among voters of color.

Independent polls have Harris up nationally by an average of 2.4 percent. Further, in battleground states, among independent polls, there has been considerable movement toward Harris. In a YouGov poll, Harris is up by 7% in New Hampshire, by 4% in Michigan, by 1% in Pennsylvania and she is just 2% behind in North Carolina. A CNN poll shows Harris up by 5% in Michigan, up by 6% in Wisconsin, up by 1% in Arizona and it shows Pennsylvania a tie. The key point from all of this is that polls are showing Harris up, and the polls are likely undercounting the number of votes she is likely to get. Further, early voting and voter registration data supports this thesis. If you haven't already done so, vote for Kamala Harris, and then "stand back and stand by" to watch her lead our country forward while citizen Trump rots in prison for his traitorous deeds against the United States!

Even more of Trump's LIES!

Trump is once again trying to undermine public trust in the election. He's tried these old, worn-out tactics before. Trump is working to create the impression that his victory is certain and that anything else is fraud — but nothing could be further from the truth. In order to appease the voters, yesterday Trump lied on his failing social media platform that he never mentioned repealing the Affordable Care Act (ACA), “never even thought of such a thing.” TRUMP LIED! In 2016 Trump ran on repealing the ACA and his 2016 platform called for “a full repeal of Obamacare.” Within hours of taking office in 2017, Trump issued an executive order weakening the law, and when the Republican-dominated House voted to repeal the law, Trump held a celebration in the Rose Garden and declared the ACA “essentially dead.”

TRUMP IS A FILTHY LIAR, and this is the PIG who the MAGA Maggots want as their cult leader.

Politico reported yesterday that nearly half of the ballots already cast in swing state Pennsylvania have come from voters over the age of 65, and although the numbers of registered older voters are divided evenly between the parties, registered Democrats have made up about 58% of Pennsylvania’s early votes, compared to 35% for Republicans; and women are voting there at a much higher rate than men in the early vote: 56% to 43% — and Democratic women are the biggest group of new voters in the state. So Trump, the whiny bastard, is already claiming fraud in Pennsylvania. Trump can claim all the baseless fraud he wants, but the real fact is that TRUMP IS A PATHETIC LOSER!

New voters who were too young eight years ago to hear the Access Hollywood tape in which Trump bragged about sexually assaulting women, have now been hearing it on TikTok lately, as younger voters record their reactions to it and call out their older male relatives for voting for anyone who would talk as Trump did. All women voters should vote their conscience, regardless of how their husbands vote. Here's the text of that recording of Trump so that all voters, but women in particular, can decide for themselves what a worthless prick Trump really is before they cast their votes:

That time has come…. All Americans, but especially Republicans, will live with their decision the rest of their lives.” Luttig continued, “The choice for America next Tuesday could not be clearer.”
