Lila Rose, the longtime head of the prominent anti-abortion group Live Action, fumed at Trump for waffling on abortion rights as he takes on Vice President Kamala Harris who has made the right of a woman to control her body a key plank in her campaign.
So Trump now caved in and flip-flopped and said he won't push for a national ban on abortions if re-elected. Sorry, Flip-Flop, we've already got you on record saying otherwise. A tiger can't change the color of its stripes.
Rose added, "I think that it’s the job of the pro-life movement to demand protection for pre-born lives. It is not the job of the pro-life movement to vote for Trump. I think it’s very foolish what he’s doing. It’s politically unwise, it may cost him the election, and it’s morally unprincipled as well."

Trump, the lying bastard, is denying that he used Arlington National Cemetery graves for campaigning, even though he purposefully used them in a TikTok clip attacking President Joe Biden’s administration.
On Wednesday, Trump shared a screenshot on social media showing a photo of Vice President Kamala Harris with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Below the image, which went out to Trump’s 7.6 million MAGA Maggots, a person in the screenshot wrote, “Funny how blowjobs impacted both of their careers differently.” Trump is a vile pig.

An attempt by Trump to remove his New York felony case to federal court weeks ahead of his scheduled sentencing hearing has been rejected on technical grounds. A Manhattan jury of his peers convicted Trump on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to subvert the 2016 presidential election. Judge Juan Merchan is expected to preside over Trump's sentencing hearing on September 18. Let's all say it out loud: Lock him up!

HuffPost reported that Trump, the CONVICTED FELON and America's most incessant LIAR, went on a rampage of lying again yesterday.
In a speech that was supposedly about energy at a steel plant in Michigan, the convicted felon in cognitive decline told the following lies:
- There is no money available for home mortgages (Fact: banks and credit unions have plenty of money to lend for home purchases)
- That he was indicted nine times (Fact: Trump was indicted four times)
- That President Joe Biden was sleeping too much, while Chinese dictator Xi Jinping and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un do very little sleeping
- That the United States had the strongest economy in history on his watch (Flatly wrong!)
- That he had the largest tax cuts in American history (Fact: tax cuts under presidents Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush were larger than his.)
- That in certain states, parents were allowed to kill newborns immediately after birth (Fact: there are no states that permit the murder of newborn babies. What planet is this a$$hole from?)
- That crimes are falling all over the world because other countries are sending their criminals to the United States (No facts support Trump's baseless claim)
- That we're getting a lot of our energy from Venezuela (Fact: the United States imports a negligible amount of oil from Venezuela)
- That Trump is going to lower gasoline and electricity prices by 50% (Fact: oil prices are set in a global market and that Saudi Arabia and other OPEC producers have decided not to let the world price fall much below $75 per barrel)
- Remember, Trump said he was going to get Mexico to pay for his border wall (Fact: he didn't!)

A$$hole Trump attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier this past Monday, which was quickly followed by an inappropriate thumbs-up campaign photo-op at a gravestone in Section 60 of the cemetery, where many service members killed in Afghanistan and Iraq are buried, and where photography is not allowed. Federal law bars candidates and campaigns from conducting political campaign activities in national military cemeteries. The Associated Press reported that the Trump campaign received warnings about not taking photographs in Section 60, but Trump's team did not heed those warnings — Trump thinks he's above the law. Retired Major General Paul Eaton, a senior adviser at VoteVets, called Trump's campaign actions at the cemetery “nauseating” and “repugnant.” As feared, Team Trump has already released a campaign video on TikTok featuring footage of the GOP candidate’s visit to Arlington. Esquire’s Charles Pierce asked in his blog: “How The Hell Was Trump Allowed To Use Arlington National Cemetery As A Campaign Prop?” Trump is a pathetic draft dodger who has disrespected our nation's greatest heroes.
Ohio Sen. JD Vance, Trump's vice presidential nominee, said Wednesday that Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris can “go to hell” after an aide to her campaign called Trump’s cemetery visit “pretty sad.” JD Vance is Trump's "pool boy," trying to mop up the shit Trump drops along the way, but he's not even capable of that task.

The November 5 election is still 68 days away, and Trump, the CONVICTED FELON, is already planning his evil and baseless tactics to challenge the election results.
Trump knows he's going to lose; he would be nothing if he wasn't a LOSER. MSNBC reported that Trump is already laying the groundwork to subvert his election loss in November. Trump is already undermining democracy, talking about how normal ways like mail-in voting are wrong. Trump's own campaign manager even said at the Republican National Convention that it wouldn't be over on Election Day, that it would only be over on Inauguration Day. Remember, Trump said he wants to be a dictator on day one. We all remember Trump's insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021. So Democrats are preparing to fight back.
Jim Messina, former Obama White House deputy chief of staff and chair of the Democracy Defenders PAC, will chair the newly launched Democracy Defenders PAC, to counter Trump's election manipulation tactics and GOP election shenanigans. The PAC will raise money for messaging and legal action against these Republican election challenges.
Messina said, "We are not messing around with this — too much is on the line and we've seen what Trump is capable of when he loses an election fair and square."
Trump wants to stop you from voting — he wants to take away your RIGHT to vote. Every American should be able to cast their vote with confidence and without interference. Enough is enough!

Betting on Trump? You're a LOSER for betting on a LOSER!
Trump's social media stock (DJT) sank to a new low yesterday, losing more than 40% of its value in the last 30 trading days. If you're betting on Trump's stock, you're betting on a LOSER.
Trump Media is a major contributor to Trump’s net worth. Its market value is hovering around $4 billion even though the company is losing money and has nearly no revenue. Trump owns about 60% of the company's outstanding stock. He is expected to be able to start selling shares as soon as Sept. 20 when a six-month lockup period that has prevented insiders from unloading their holdings is expected to lift.
Cashing in shares could help Trump pay his mounting legal bills but could antagonize supporters who have shoveled money into the stock and could be viewed as a vote of no confidence in the company. Even if Trump does not sell shares when the lock-up period ends, other insiders may sell theirs, increasing the public float even more, diminishing the stock's value. Either way, you're a LOSER by betting on a LOSER!

Trump is in "landslide territory." The 13 states that have already updated their voters files since President Biden said he would not accept the Democratic nomination for president have seen “incredible surges in voter registration relative to the same time period in 2020, driven by women, voters of color, and young voters,” as was reported in The Bulwark. The registrations of young Black women have almost tripled compared with the same period in 2020. The registrations of young Hispanic women are up by 150%. Democratic registration has increased by over 50%, as compared to only 7% for Republicans. Meanwhile, Trump, America's #1 LOSER, began the day yesterday by posting an advertisement for the fourth series of Trump digital trading cards. Trump is a cash-strapped con man, snake oil salesman, and grifter with fines to pay and mounting campaign bills.
Historian Heather Cox Richardson was absolutely correct yesterday when she said, "The elephant in the room these days is that most Republicans, along with many pundits, are pretending that Trump is a normal presidential candidate. They are ignoring his mental lapses, calls for authoritarianism, grifting, lack of grasp on any sort of policy, and criminality, even as he has hollowed out the once grand Republican Party and threatens American democracy itself."

Trump is "about to get his butt handed to him"
Yesterday Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Tex.) predicted that Trump won’t show up for the Sept. 10 debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, “but if he does show up, he is about to get his butt handed to him.”
That's a FACT!
Crockett continued, saying, “I’m here for it either way: He can go and cower in a corner, or he can show up and be lit on fire. Either way, I’m good. America, looking at the two choices before you, who would you hire: Donald Trump or Kamala Harris?” she asked the crowd. “Kamala Harris has a resume. Donald Trump has a rap sheet.”
If Trump does show up for the debate, Vice President Harris wants the mics turned on all the time to let Trump have the chance to say exactly what he wants, when he wants. She hopes to give Trump the chance to sabotage himself with an insulting interruption, his overbearing personality, or his incessant lying. Trump's "smash mouth" politics and condescending tone won't bode well against Harris, who is a seasoned legislator with an admirable and accomplished track record of public service. Visuals of Trump talking over and openly disrespecting the woman who has the chance to be the first Black woman president would speak for themselves.
Trump had initially agreed to two debates against President Joe Biden. With Harris now at the top of the ticket, the COWARD has suggested he might not show up for the debate with her. Trump is so afraid of Vice President Kamala Harris that he's looking for any and every excuse to bail out of this debate. Trump is out-classed and out-matched! Cowardice, Chickenshit Trump is afraid of Kamala Harris
That's right, folks. Now that he's seen Vice President Kamala Harris in action at the Democratic National Convention, chickenshit Trump realizes that he's no match for her in a debate, so he's making lame excuses for the possibility of his backing out of their scheduled September 10th debate in Philadelphia.
Instead of blaming the real reason, namely his incompetence, Trump is blaming the network, hosted by ABC News. (Note: Trump never accepts blame for anything). Trump questioned whether ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, with whom he is involved in litigation, would be involved, though there is no indication that Stephanopoulos would be. Behind the scenes, the Trump campaign reportedly is refusing a simple Harris campaign request: keep the mics on. You see, Trump is unable to control himself, and with the mics on, he'll undoubtedly reveal his incompetence, stupidity, and cognitive decline.
The fact of the matter is that Trump is afraid of Kamala Harris. Face it, Donnie, you're America's Biggest LOSER!

The time for sentencing Trump for his 34 felonies is getting close
September 18th — what a day it's going to be! Trump is due to appear in Manhattan, where he will be sentenced for 34 felony convictions. Some criminal justice experts believe the felon could very well end up behind bars, and real Americans certainly hope so.
University of California-Berkeley law professor John Yoo, who served in former President George W. Bush's Department of Justice, said Judge Juan Merchan may very well include a stretch of prison time when handing down his sentence. Judge Merchan has the discretion to sentence Trump to as many as 20 years behind bars.
Inasmuch as Trump repeatedly violated a gag order Judge Merchan issued during the trial to prevent Trump from attacking jurors, witnesses, court staff or their families (including Merchan's daughter), Merchan may opt for a tougher sentence.
AlterNet reported that attorney Ralph Nader is calling on Judge Merchan to hit Trump with a prison sentence, arguing the case for jail time is "open and shut" and that the defendant poses a grave threat to democracy. "Mr. Trump threatens a counter-revolution against the American Revolution and the United States Constitution in favor of executive absolutism indistinguishable from French King Louis XIV," Nader said. "Do not be oblivious to what all the world can see. Mr. Trump covets dictatorial powers like his friend Vladimir Putin in Russia," he added.
Nader, a four-time presidential candidate, has vocally warned of the fascist threat posed by Trump and the GOP, a threat he says that has only grown in the wake of the Supreme Court's decision in Trump v. United States. Trump's advisers have already signaled that this felon and insurrectionist intends to exploit the high court's ruling if he wins in November.

Trump's poll lead drops by 50%
The convicted felon's lead dropped by 50%.
The latest Rasmussen Reports poll showed that Harris has cut into Trump's 2-point lead among women from last week, with the vice president now leading Trump by 2 points, on 48 percent to his 46 percent. The majority of polls show Harris leading among women.
Since Kamala Harris entered the race, polls have shown that she has overtaken Trump's previous lead nationally as well as in six of the seven swing states, according to FiveThirtyEight's poll tracker, which shows that Harris has consistently been leading Trump since July 26.
Overall, Harris now has a 3.6-point lead over Trump nationally—her largest polling average over Trump yet, according to FiveThirtyEight.
Newsweek just reported that Trump's team finally admitted in a new memo, obtained by NBC News' Sahil Kapur, that Trump lost two key battleground states in 2020 — Arizona and Georgia. President Biden flipped both Arizona and Georgia blue in the last presidential election. Trump, the felon convicted by a jury of his peers on 34 separate counts, has still not conceded the 2020 election.

The 2024 Democratic National Convention ended last night in Chicago with Kamala Harris accepting the nomination for President of the United States of America!
Kamala Harris is a winner in life, while Trump, the felon, is the Biggest LOSER!
The Democratic National Convention exuded vitality, optimism and competence. The Republican National Convention in July leaned on fear, anger and falsehoods.
During the four day convention, the Democratic Party proved beyond any doubt that Kamala Harris is the only clear choice for president in the upcoming Nov. 5th election. Numerous prestigious Republicans who worked in the Trump administration even publicly endorsed Harris at the Democratic convention.
Yusef Salaam, a member of the exonerated “Central Park Five” that was wrongly accused of an assault in 1989 and who spent seven long years in wrongful incarceration, also spoke at the convention. Trump paid $85,000 for a full-page newspaper ad calling for New York to bring back the death penalty for these wrongly accused and innocent men. Salaam is now a New York City councilmember. He declared that America “will finally say goodbye to that hateful man” when “they see us.”

Real Republicans are voting for Kamala Harris
Republicans are being featured every night of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in front of huge crowds at the United Center in Chicago, where they are underscoring the growing opposition to Trump among traditional and moderate Republicans and where they are helping to paint Kamala Harris as the only viable candidate.
"We need to love our country more (than our party)," said Ana Navarro, a prominent anti-Trump voice in her roles as a CNN political commentator and co-host of ABC's The View. "My purpose is to make sure that Donald Trump does not get anywhere near the White House," Navarro continued.
Other Republican speakers last night included John Giles, the Republican mayor of Mesa, Ariz., who said that "the Republican party has been kidnapped by extremists and devolved into a cult," and Stephanie Grisham, who served in Trump's administration as communications director and, briefly, the White House press secretary, who said that Trump "has no empathy, no morals and no fidelity to the truth. Kamala Harris tells the truth. She respects the American people, and she has my vote.”
Later this week, the DNC will hear from former Georgia lieutenant-governor Geoff Duncan and former U.S. representative Adam Kinzinger, the latter of whom sat on the special House committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Other notable Republicans — including Trump's former vice-president Mike Pence, Utah's Senator Mitt Romney and former House speaker Paul Ryan — have declined to endorse Trump.
Trump has angrily dismissed Republicans who oppose him as "RINOs," or "Republicans in Name Only." Better to be a "RINO" who respects the American Constitution, we say, than one of Trump's ass-sniffing MAGA Maggots.

The Democrats Trounce On Traitorous Trump
— "Kamala Harris has a résumé. Donald Trump has a rap sheet.”
An overwhelming turnout trounced on traitorous Trump on the first day of the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
The Democrats have come together into a pro-democracy coalition, unlike the Republican Party's crumbling into a Christian nationalist authoritarianism. The Democratic coalition even includes Republicans eager to stop Trump and his ass-sniffing allies.
The Republicans have no platform, only slogans in caps, without any suggestion of how they will bring about change to improve the lives of Americans. The future Trump offers is as dark as his own vows of retribution and revenge. MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said, "The Republican Party has sold itself to a man who lies about America every day and says we're a nation in decline, who lies about America every day and says we're a nation of losers, who lies about America every day and says that we are just on the verge of collapse. No, not true."
In contrast, the Democrats laid out their policies in a detailed 90-page platform that places the actual accomplishments of the Biden-Harris administration in a larger framework of protecting American democracy.
Dozens of speakers spoke succinctly and articulately about why Trump is unfit for office and why the Democratic party is the party of the future of democracy.
"Harris actually outlined her economic proposals, rather than [Trump's] veering off onto topics like who has the biggest crowds and how windmills are killing birds," said Paul Krugman, the Nobel Prize-winning economist.
Golden State Warriors and U.S. Olympic basketball team coach Steve Kerr noted that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz have spent their careers “serving other people,” while Trump has spent his career serving only himself.
Representative Jasmine Crockett from Texas said, “Kamala Harris has a résumé. Donald Trump has a rap sheet.” Crockett continued, saying, “Someone should’ve told Donald Trump that the president’s job under Article 2 of the Constitution is to take care that the laws are faithfully executed, not that the vice president is executed…. J.D. Vance, do you understand why there was a sudden job opening for running mate on the [Republican] ticket? They tried to kill your predecessor!”
President Biden addressed the convention, saying, “The vote each of us casts this year will determine whether democracy and freedom will prevail. It’s that simple. It’s that serious. And the power is literally in your hands. History is in your hands…. America’s future is in your hands.”

Can't even be argued: Trump is a delusional a$$hole
Yesterday New Hampshire Republican Governor Chris Sununu rebuked Trump's recent "asinine comments" about the Presidential Medal of Freedom being "better" than the Medal of Honor.
At a campaign event in New Jersey on Thursday, Trump said the Presidential Medal of Freedom is a "better" award than the Department of Defense's (DOD) Medal of Honor, which is the United States Armed Forces' highest military decoration and is awarded to recognize American armed forces who have distinguished themselves "through conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty." Once again, Trump is delusional. Remember, Trump's comments come from a draft dodger using "bone spurs" as a cheap excuse to avoid serving his country, even though he has no problem walking while playing numerous rounds of golf each week!
Veterans for Responsible Leadership (VFRL), a bipartisan super PAC, wrote on X that Trump thinks the Medal of Honor is "secondary to the medal he gives his billionaire funders. He doesn't care about our military or their sacrifices."
Trump needs to be put in his place — out of sight, out of mind; committed, not elected.

Indian Americans rally for Kamala Harris
Their message: Vote for Kamala Harris for the next president of the United States.
Vineeta Gupta, a 61-year-old physician and human rights lawyer who immigrated to the US from India in 2003, is championing Kamala Harris as the next president of the United States. “It became impossible not to engage,” Gupta told CNN. “The choice is not about Democrats or Republicans. The choice is between democracy and losing it.”

Indian Americans make up 4.8 million people in the US. They haven’t historically been a political force in US elections, but the 2024 race could mark a turning point for one of the fastest growing immigrant groups in the country. With the Indian American population more than doubling in key battleground states between 2010 and 2020, organizers say a fired-up electorate could make a difference come November.
A vote for Kamala Harris is a vote for the continuation of democracy and against the dictatorship of Trump, the convicted felon.

Harris leads in recent polls!
The Hill reported that Vice President Kamala Harris has been pulling ahead in recent polling. In an average of national polls from The Hill/Decision Desk HQ, Harris is leading Trump by 1.8 points, garnering 49 percent support to Trump's 47.2 percent.
Recent polling from The New York Times/Siena College also found Harris up in three important battleground states — Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — by 4 points.

Republicans are the cause of high drug prices!
A study by the RAND Corporation found that drug prices average 2.56 times higher in the U.S. than in 32 other countries. For name brand drugs, U.S. prices were 3.44 times those in comparable nations.
Why? Republicans are to blame!
Exactly two years ago, on August 16, 2022, President Joe Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law. Among other things, that law permitted Medicare to negotiate drug prices, a provision about 83% of voters supported. Republicans opposed the measure. Not a single Republican voted for the Inflation Reduction Act.
It was Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris who cast the tie-breaking vote that gave the Inflation Reduction Act the votes to go to the president’s desk.
About a year later, on August 29, 2023, the government announced the first ten drugs over whose prices it would negotiate on behalf of about 65 million Medicare recipients — no thanks whatsoever to the Republicans. Today the Biden-Harris administration announced it has reached agreements with pharmaceutical companies for ten drugs. The new prices offer discounts of from 38% to 79% off list prices. The Democrats are the ones helping the normal, everyday citizens, not the Republicans.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services expects to select the next 15 drugs for negotiation by February 1, 2025, although Trump and his ignorant Republicans have vowed to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act.

A Pew Research Center poll from June 2023 found 49% of Americans said it was ideal for a president to be in their 50s, while another 24% said their 60s would be the ideal age. Kamala Harris is 59. A mere 3% of Americans say they prefer a president to be in their 70s or older (like Trump).
Trump is now the oldest man to run for a four-year term as president. He’s older today than Ronald Reagan was when he left office. And Trump is still reluctant to disclose basic details about his health. Americans see that as a big problem, especially considering Trump's obvious cognitive and mental decline, which experts in memory, psychology, and linguistics have identified that he is no longer able to hide during his rambling, disjointed, cray-cray speeches. Mentally, Trump is an adolescent. We need a qualified adult in the White House.

The Independent reported that pollster FiveThirtyEight revealed that Kamala Harris now has a 2.4-point lead over Trump in the latest average of national polls.
Much of the latest New York Times/Siena College poll was conducted as Walz joined Harris on the campaign trail, and shows that Kamala Harris has a four-point lead in the swing states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Trump’s key supporters remain male voters, the 45-64 age group, and white voters with no college education. Remember, Trump said, "I love the poorly educated" in November, 2016.
Kamala Harris polls best with young voters, female voters, and Black voters, among whom Harris has a +68 point lead.

What, if anything, did Trump accomplish?
The Week US had an interesting article titled "What did Donald Trump accomplish as president?" The article, by columnist Rafa Schwartz, said that Trump is "a walking, talking bullhorn for his own self-aggrandizing superlatives."
Trump is claiming that he is "more presidential than any president that's ever held this office" and that he's "the greatest jobs president that God ever created." This, of course, is pure bullshit. Trump lives in his own warped and demented state of reality. Over 150 historians have already voted Trump as the worst president in all of American history.
For four years, the Trump White House was notoriously beset by dysfunction and infighting, resulting in a political reality show.
Now this vindictive malignant narcissist wants to return to the White House to exact retribution against those who oppose him. It's time to stop Trump in his tracks — he's nothing but "political cancer."

Newsweek reported that using current polling numbers, Harris leads in four of the seven most competitive swing states, while Trump leads in three. According to the Electoral College polling map produced by RaceToTheWhiteHouse, if the election were exactly matched current polling in each state, Harris would win the Electoral College with 276 votes to Trump's 262.

Trump's new ignoramus vice presidential running mate, JD Vance, is blaming migrants for America's higher housing costs, and he's proposed deporting millions of people to address the housing crisis. Housing experts, however, who forgot more than JD Vance ever learned, say it really comes down to a severe lack of housing inventory.
Prospective home buyers are facing high interest rates and limited home supply. This is not caused by migrants.
Voters should be asking Trump and Vance how they plan to increase the supply of housing, which in turn would decrease the current demand and bring down the overinflated home values. The Republicans have no platform and no plan — only criticism of the Democrats.

More people than ever think the 78-year-old Trump is too old to run for office now that President Joe Biden is no longer in the 2024 race, according to a Morning Consult survey of around 2,200 registered voters. Fewer voters now believe Trump is in "good health." The number of people believing Trump is mentally fit has fallen 5 points from 53 percent to 48.
The poll results are the latest sign that Trump, now the oldest presidential nominee in U.S. history, will now face the same scrutiny about his age and cognitive ability that plagued Biden before he pulled out of the race. As it should!
Kamala Harris leads Trump by 4 points (48 percent to 44) in the latest survey, the largest advantage for a Democratic presidential candidate over Trump in nearly a year. Harris is also beating Trump among key demographics, including independents (42 percent to 37) and voters aged 18 to 34 years old (49 percent to 40). Why? Maybe because people are finally waking up to Trump's lies and his incompetence. Heather Cox Richardson said it best:

HuffPost reported that the Republican Voters Against Trump launched a $3.5 million campaign across swing states, opposing Trump for president.
“He is a criminal,” said one Republican voter. Trump, she said, is running not for democracy but to keep himself out of jail, and declares that she will be voting for Vice President Kamala Harris.
