Musk attempts to buy another election!
In another blatant illegal move, Elon Musk was at a planned rally in Wisconsin yesterday, handing over $1 million checks to two voters “in appreciation for them taking the time to vote.” Musk spent more than $20 million trying to help elect a Republican Waukesha County Judge who Trump endorsed last week. The Republican is facing Democratic-backed Dane County Circuit Judge Susan Crawford in the race that will determine the ideological makeup of the state’s highest court. Liberals currently have a 4-3 majority. A vote for Judge Susan Crawford is a vote for democracy!
Wisconsin state law expressly prohibits giving anything of value in exchange for voting. Attorney General Josh Kaul on Friday asked the circuit court to issue an emergency injunction to stop Musk from making the payments, calling them a “blatant attempt to violate” Wisconsin’s anti-bribery statute. Wisconsin law makes it a felony to offer, give, lend or promise to lend or give anything of value to induce a voter to cast a ballot or not vote. Musk also gave the Wisconsin Republican Party $3 million to pass along to the Republican judge's campaign.
Musk used nearly identical tactics to the ones he is using in Wisconsin ahead of the presidential election last year, when he spent hundreds of millions of dollars helping Trump buy a second term in the White House.
Musk is a worthless, felonous pig who, like Trump, his MAGA cult leader, thinks he is above the law. Musk belongs behind bars, along with Trump, the traitor to America.

When half of America's been duped
If you believed Trump's original "Stop the Steal" Big Lie about false election interference allegations in the 2020 election (which the courts, by the way, struck down as baseless lies), and his latest Big Lie 2.0 about noncitizens laying the groundwork to undermine the 2024 election, then you've been duped, deceived, and brainwashed into Trump's MAGA cult through his fear tactics. Yes, let's call it what it is — it's been definitively proven by psychologists that MAGA is a cult.
People are influenced by the actions or opinions of others. "We determine what is correct by finding out what other people think is correct," said Dr. Robert Cialdini in his book, Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion." People, like sheep, will follow the herd, and that includes the non-thinkers in the cult of Trump.
And even though Trump did not quite win the popular vote in 2024, you also have to realize that statistically nearly half of the people you see or meet in your world are part of the MAGA cult. And if they're part of the MAGA cult, then they obviously believed Trump's campaign promises or they wouldn't have voted for him in the first place. This also means that they believe in what Trump stands for. So if you voted for Trump, then you believe in what he stands for as well.
So let's look at just a few of Trump's campaign promises, and what you therefore believe in and support.
- A liar who campaigned on ending the war between Russia and Ukraine within 24 hours of taking office. (Note: nearly two and a half months have passed and there is no sign of a real breakthrough.)
- A liar who said, “Starting on day one, we will end inflation and make America affordable again, to bring down the prices of all goods.” (NBC Montana, Trump Rally in Bozeman, MT, August 9, 2024). (Note: Inflation has actually picked up speed since Trump's been in office.)
- A liar who said, “A vote for Trump means your groceries will be cheaper.” (Trump's campaign in Pittsburgh, November 4, 2024). (Note: Trump began backpedaling as soon as he won the election, saying, “It’s hard to bring things down once they’re up… It’s very hard.”)
- A liar who believes in a leftist plot to get illegals to become voters. (Note: One study of jurisdictions with large populations of noncitizens in 12 states named by Trump as hubs of illegal voting found an estimated 30 incidents of suspected — not proven — illegal noncitizen voting among 23.5 million votes in 2016, or 0.0001%.)
- Trump promised to decimate American communities with a "shock and awe blitz" of executive orders targeting immigrants who are already contributing members of society and blocking new immigrants from coming lawfully to the United States.
- Trump promised that he will protect Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid — the three major entitlement programs that together account for nearly half of all federal spending. Yet Trump's Republican attack dogs, including Elon Musk and his minions at DOGE, are still busy chewing into many parts of the federal government, and they have a plot for making it harder for Americans to get their Social Security benefits by eliminating up to 50% of the Social Security workforce. (Note: Remember that Social Security is money Americans have already paid in advance throughout their working lives through payroll deductions, and now Trump and Musk are purposely making it harder for Americans to collect those earned benefits.)

The Stock Market Continues To Fall Under Trump's Incompetence
It's past due time to get rid of Trump.
Yesterday the S&P 500 had one of its worst days in two years, dropping 2%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 715 points, losing 1.7% of its value. The Nasdaq Composite fell 2.7%. The stock market tumble started after the Commerce Department released data showing that consumer prices are rising faster than economists expected, due primarily to idiot Trump's additional taxes on Americans — tariffs.
Stocks have fallen steadily over the past two months as Wall Street braces for the economic impact of Donnie’s naïve trade agenda. The S&P 500 is down over 8% and Nasdaq is down over 10% since Trump's January 20th inauguration. The stock market has already lost over $4 TRILLION since Trump's been in office, with his on-again, off-again ridiculous tariffs. Little Donnie Dum Dum is a wannabe leader without the brains or qualifications to be one — remember, he filed bankruptcy six times — and now this unhinged madman is taking the country into a recession. His simpleminded brain looks at everything as a real estate transaction, and leading a government is not a real estate deal. Don't ever forget that Trump took the stock market on its biggest dive in history in 2018, during the last time he was in office. Trump is clearly the most incompetent president in all of American history.
AIG chief international economist James Knightley said: “We are moving in the wrong direction." Inflation is rising, and the Federal Reserve will be less likely to cut interest rates.
Voters are overwhelmingly against both Trump and Musk, including an increasing number of MAGA Maggots who are now having "buyers remorse." Trump is bad for America. Everyone knows it. Period.

1. Demand personal loyalty from all appointees.
2. Organize military parades and other choreographed shows of force.

It's "Signalgate!" Republican incompetence has reached a new low under Pete Hegseth
The following national security breach by the Republicans is all over the news.
Pete Hegseth, Trump's incompetent Secretary of Defense, and the second in the chain of command behind the president, recklessly and inadvertently divulged the most sensitive military information about upcoming military strikes in Yemen to Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, who was accidentally added to a group chat on Signal, the unsecure, open-source messaging chat app, like it was a fantasy football draft. Screenshots from the text conversation revealed sensitive military information, including the planned timeline for warplane launches and weapon details for an attack against Yemeni Houthi rebels before US military personnel were airborne. Trump maintains that nothing classified was posted. On Monday, Hegseth looked directly at a reporter’s camera and said: “Nobody was texting war plans.” Both Hegseth and Trump are worthless LIARS!
The Atlantic, however, published screenshots of the message chat which made it clear that Trump officials insisting that there was nothing classified on the chat were lying. Hegseth uploaded the precise details of the attack before it happened, leaving American military personnel vulnerable. The evidence is damning. Remember Watergate? Well, this is "Signalgate."
Hegseth should be immediately fired and prosecuted, and Trump should be impeached and removed from office. Both are clear and present dangers to our nation. Instead, Donnie Dum Dum chose to malign The Atlantic rather than call for Hegseth’s resignation. This unequivocally proves that worthless Trump, the malignant narcissist, is completely unfit for office. He never takes responsibility for anything and always deflects the blame onto others. And if you're one of Trump's MAGA Maggots who thinks Hegseth's and Trump's actions are appropriate, then you're completely worthless as well. It makes you reckless and irresponsible, and it makes you a traitor by association. Both Trump and Hegseth are the enemy within. This is not even open for dispute or discussion.
Here is what Trump and his Republican lapdogs and lemmings are saying:
- When asked if he still believed there was no classified information shared, Trump answered: “Well, that’s what I’ve heard. I don’t know, I’m not sure. You’ll have to ask the various people involved. I really don’t know.” He then projected blame onto someone else, saying the breach was Mike Waltz’s fault, and falling back on his overused, worn-out, and fake excuse that it's all a witch hunt. (Note: The president of the United States has no fucking clue as to what's going on with regard to a military attack on a foreign country! The world is laughing at Trump.)
- Republicans in Congress and Fox News hosts have tossed off pathetic “nothing to see here's.” (Note: Nothing to see here? This is a breach of national security where prison terms should be automatic for these traitors!)
- And Hegseth himself, rather than rightly showing contrition, expressing regret, and begging the American people to forgive his immaturity and carelessness — chose to attack the journalist for doing his job: a concept Hegseth has no comprehension of.
Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), an Army pilot who was nearly killed in Iraq, was palpable. “Pete Hegseth is a f*cking liar,” she wrote. “This is so clearly classified info he recklessly leaked that could’ve gotten our pilots killed. He needs to resign in disgrace immediately.”
House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) wrote a public letter to Trump yesterday calling for him to fire Hegseth, accurately referring to him as “the most unqualified Secretary of Defense in American history.”
Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.) got into a shouting match with CIA director John Ratcliffe yesterday after asking if Hegseth may have been drinking before he used the third-party messaging app Signal to share war plans with national security officials. Before being confirmed, Hegseth faced numerous allegations of excessive drinking, sometimes at work.
Pete Hegseth isn’t qualified to oversee a garage sale, let alone helm the most sophisticated and important fighting force in the free world.
As John Pavlovitz, author, speaker, and activist, so accurately said in his substack, "Republican voters should be joining the massive choir of those rightly calling for the Secretary’s resignation, but they will reserve their breathless fervor policing public bathrooms, banning History books, and rounding up brown-skinned people at church picnics."
And since when and why does the administration use an unsecure chat app of any kind for discussing national security issues? Maybe it's so that the American public can't track their behind-the-scenes plotting and maneuvering to destroy our precious democracy. A Pentagon-wide advisory warned of vulnerability within Signal a month before the Houthi strike chat, claiming it was a target of Russian hacking groups.
MAGA has reached its expiration date. Its malevolence, hatred, and contempt for life are beyond comprehension. They have Trump Derangement Syndrome, but they may find help by clicking here. All of the MAGA Maggots' flag-waving theatrics and hand-wringing anthem outrage have proven to be nothing but fake news. MAGA has been fully exposed for its ignorance and stupidity. We see it. Trump wants to eliminate 25 million voters!
Trump signed another execute order on Tuesday, inappropriately called “Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections,” to require every American who registers or re-registers to vote to prove their citizenship. The justification: Trump claims that the Democratic Party has registered three to five million non-citizen voters. But after four years of intense hunting by his Justice Department, they haven’t found three.
“Hundreds of thousands” could be purged in a single state warned The Brennan Center for Justice of the New York University School of Law.
Trump isn’t waiting. The Georgia Secretary of State is about to remove 466,000 voters from the rolls, notably, four times Trump’s “victory” margin last year.
“We tried to warn you, America,” said Gerald Griggs, the President of the NAACP of Georgia. “Jim Crow 2.0 has roared out of Georgia and is going national.”
The Brennan Center reports that 21 million Americans, otherwise legal voters, don’t have access to a citizenship ID, a very low estimate. All will lose their vote if they attempt to register or RE-register (as 31 million Americans do each year).
Key facts:
- Only 42% of white Americans — and only 34% of Black Americans — have passports to prove citizenship.
- 69 million women who took their husband’s last name cannot use their birth certificate as proof of citizenship.
- Military ID is NOT proof of citizenship.
- A driver’s license is NOT proof of citizenship (except in 5 states that permit you to add citizenship to the “Real” ID card.)

They Shoot Horses, Don't They?
In 1969, Sydney Pollack's film They Shoot Horses, Don't They? was released. The movie is centered around a Depression-era dance marathon, a true-to-life event in which couples would dance continuously for weeks, sometimes months at a time. The message of the movie wasn't initially apparent, but it became clearer as time went on: it was an opportunity for the wealthy to entertain themselves with the playacting of the poor, and to discard them when they are no longer useful or profitable, even if it means ending their suffering. The film highlights the exploitation of desperate people by those who profit from their suffering. The obvious result of this is the fundamental dehumanization of the participants: after several weeks of competition, the dancers aren’t only physically beleaguered — they’re at risk of losing their own sense of humanity along the way.
The movie 1984 was about totalitarianism, constant surveillance of the people, the manipulation of history, the use of propaganda and language, and concerns about control by government outreach, serving as a cautionary tale about the dangers of unchecked power and the erosion of individual freedom and independent thought.
In 1987, the movie Running Man was released about a television game show that takes place in 2019. The film takes place after the rise of an authoritarian state that makes political prisoners compete on a televised game show during which they are gruesomely executed.
In 1990, the movie Misery, from the novel by Stephen King, depicted a character with a severe personality disorder who needed control, required constant praise and validation, believed she was superior to others, didn't care about the feelings of others, and who exhibited narcissistic tendencies. Trump exhibits the same dysfunctional traits.
In 2018, the movie Fahrenheit 451 depicted a society where books were banned and burned. It concerned itself with themes of censorship, societal control, nonconformity, and its message about government suppression of freedom of speech and expression.
All of these movies were prophetic, accurately mirroring Trump's dictatorial, totalitarian state.
Vindictive Trump is a traitor. He and his MAGA base love to watch suffering. Trump has crafted a false narrative that he, the grifter and snake oil salesman, sold to the public through baseless lies and fake facts for his own glory and power.
The lives of people are not toys to be played with, and any of Trump's "entertainment" that does so is not entertainment at all. It’s exploitation. Trump is a traitor to America and will eventually suffer the consequences of being a traitor.

Fifteen years ago today, President Barack Obama signed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), often called Obamacare, into law. In addition to making healthcare more affordable, the law eliminated lifetime limits on benefits and prohibits discrimination because of pre-existing conditions. About 24 million people signed up for Obamacare coverage for 2025, while another 21 million adults were covered by the law’s expansion of Medicaid. The ACA has increased the number of Americans covered by health insurance and slowed the rise of health care costs across the board. We thank you, President Obama, even while the current ignoramus in the Oval Office is figuring out ways to get rid of it!

Boycott MAGA firms
The Guardian reported that a new Harris poll shows that a significant share of Americans are turning their backs on companies that align with the policies of Trump.
The boycott includes firms such as Tesla, Amazon, Target, and Walmart. Thirty-six percent of Americans said they will be participating. "Consumers will wield their spending power like a weapon," said Libby Rodney, chief strategy officer at the Harris Poll. Last month, a Harris poll found that 31% of Americans have reported similar goals to “opt out” of the economy this year in light of Trump's changing political climate.
The strength of feeling varied significantly among people of different generations, races and political views:
- 53% of gen Zers and 46% of millennials said they are participating in boycotts, compared with 30% of gen Xers and just 22% of Boomers.
- Over half of Black (53%) and Hispanic (51%) Americans are boycotting, compared with 29% of white Americans.
- Democrats (49%) are far more likely to be boycotting now than independents (32%) and conservatives (29%).
Nearly half of those boycotting (46%) also pointed to companies caving in to Trump's demands and rolling back their diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies as a reason behind their boycott. For example, Target ended hiring goals for marginalized groups, while Walmart said it will no longer prioritize finding suppliers that are women- or minority-owned companies. Such companies are giving up core moral values in bowing to Trump.
We congratulate those real Americans with a backbone who stand up for what they believe and boycott MAGA firms! If you know of local MAGA firms in your neighborhood, boycott them and then inform others via social media, neighborhood watch and Nextdoor sites, Facebook, etc. This includes MAGA-leaning evangelical churches that preach white Christian nationalism beliefs, including what's known as the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), a fringe movement of the biased, prejudiced, and destructive American Christian right. Get the word out.

Trump's goal is to censor and control free speech
In 1933, Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime implemented strict censorship of the news media, establishing the Ministry of Propaganda led by Joseph Goebbels to control all forms of mass communication and suppress any information that could undermine their authority.
Trump is attempting to do the same in 2025.
Earlier this month, Trump gutted the U.S. Agency for Global Media, which oversees the Voice of America, that broadcasts news to millions worldwide — and that he has long held a grudge against.
On Feb. 26, 2025, Trump denied three reporters from Reuters and other news organizations access to his first cabinet meeting. He also denied access to an Associated Press photographer and reporters from HuffPost and Der Tagesspiegel, a German newspaper.
Trump's excuse was that the White House would now determine which media outlets would cover the president in smaller spaces such as the Oval Office. This is not about space restrictions. That has never been an issue in the past under any other president. This is all about Trump's attempt to control the free press. The White House said asking Trump questions in presidential locations was a "privilege granted to journalists, not a legal right" and it stood by "our decision to hold the Fake News accountable for their lies." The only fake news is that coming from Trump's far right.
Adam Penenberg, a journalism professor at New York University, called Trump's actions "state propaganda in real time."
The three wire services that have traditionally served as permanent members of the White House news pool, the Associated Press, Bloomberg and Reuters, released a statement saying, "It is essential in a democracy for the public to have access to news about their government from an independent, free press."
HuffPost called the White House decision a violation of the First Amendment right to freedom of the press.
The White House Correspondents’ Association also issued a statement protesting the new White House policy, saying that Trump's decision to bar the Associated Press from being in the media pool was because it declined to refer to the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, the name Trump assigned the body of water. The Gulf of Mexico has carried that name for over 400 years.
Yesterday Columbia University surrendered the university’s academic freedom to the Trump regime. Trump threatened to cancel $400 million in federal funding if Columbia didn’t put its Middle Eastern, South Asian and African Studies Department in “academic receivership.” Trump also demanded that Columbia ban the wearing of face masks, so that protesters can be more easily identified, and hire 36 campus security officers who can arrest or remove people. Trump's obvious goal is to intimidate protesters — he is not a leader. The spineless university agreed instead of telling Trump to go straight to hell.
Hitler's Propaganda Ministry aimed at furthering to control the content of news and editorial pages through directives distributed in daily conferences in Berlin and transmitted via the Nazi Party propaganda offices to regional or local papers. Detailed guidelines stated what stories could or could not be reported and how to report the news. What Trump is doing today is taken right out of Hitler's playbook. Trump is too stupid to have come up with this idea himself.

Trump has an incurable personality disorder
Trump has a personality disorder, and it's troubling because personality disorders are virtually untreatable. That means Trump's poor character qualities are baked into who he is. It cannot be altered and will not change.
Elizabeth Mika is one of dozens of psychologists who publicly raised a red flag about Trump when he first announced his run for the presidency. Reading her essays from pre-election 2016, it's almost frightening how well she nailed who Trump is, how he operates, why his base kowtows to him, why the Republicans pivoted to support him, and why the rest of us are left disturbed and frustrated by both him and his cult-like following. "Trump is a malignant narcissist — the extreme end of the narcissistic spectrum," she explains. "It is a condition comprised of psychopathy, sadism, manipulativeness, and paranoia, in addition to narcissism. The term was coined by psychologist and psychoanalyst Erich Fromm who said that malignant narcissism is the most dangerous form of psychopathology known to humankind."
Mika says the core of who Trump is is based in his "lack of conscience (psychopathy)" and his "unusual ego fragility that manifests in his insatiable need for adulation (narcissism). By the way, this is a character defect and not a mental illness," Mika adds. "It is fixed (unchangeable), permanent, and incurable.
Mika said that for millions of Trump's MAGA cult members, hearing that their leader is missing a conscience makes no difference. The worse he behaves, the more his base salivates. "There are many people, of course, who don't see anything wrong with Trump," she says. "On the contrary, they adore those traits that we see as pathological and believe that they make him a great leader. They elect him because his pathological character traits best suit their agendas, namely the destruction of the existing socio-political structure and their 'enemies' — typically The Others — whom they blame for their life failures. Malignant politicians will steer people's anger away from themselves and other responsible parties, and blame it on easy, vulnerable scapegoats — immigrants, refugees, minorities, women, eternal Others."
So what does this mean for a second Trump term?
"It would be the end of America as we know it," Mika says bluntly. "A full blown reign of pathocracy of the kind that we are already seeing at work in the Trumpian unreality fueled by lies, grandiose boasts, rage directed at The Others — immigrants, minorities, political opponents — and wide-ranging incitements of violence, which would become policy as well. Trump's second term will be oriented toward revenge on his critics, solidifying his power, padding his pockets, and destroying the last remnants of the institutions that stand in his way to absolute power."
Mika described the psychology of that process in her essay, Tyranny as a Triumph of Narcissism that was published in the book "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump," available on Amazon.
Mika's essay was published back in 2018, but sadly no one paid attention! So now America is paying the price.

Trump's Brand
Trump’s entire brand is built on grievance. He doesn’t lead — he complains. He doesn’t govern — he pouts. He doesn't manage — he stokes fear. He doesn't solve problems — he blames. Trump is a desperate, weak, insecure, worthless, and ultimately meaningless human being. Trump has won the presidency twice, and yet he still insists he’s the biggest victim in American history. He's an excuse-maker who takes no responsibility for his failures. The reality is that Trump is a weak and insecure malignant narcissist — a LOSER in life!
And yet, somehow, Trump still manages to convince millions of people that he’s some kind of warrior with his cheap talk — some kind of victimized hero battling the evil establishment. It’s a sad and pathetic joke.
As Adam Kinzinger, former Republican Congressman from Illinois, says to Trump, "America deserves a leader, not a perpetual victim-in-chief. Either grow a spine or step aside. We’re done listening to your complaints."
When Trump either steps aside or is removed, America is gonna be great again!

Your silence is your consent
The destruction of our democracy by Trump and his MAGA base is a national emergency, and our silence and lack of a strong counteroffensive is tantamount to turning on our backs and giving in to this evil and vindictive dictator. We cannot remain silent as Trump and Musk turn our democracy into a dictatorship.
Protesting, resisting, and throwing a wrench into Trump's agenda in every way possible should now be our standard operating procedure — our primary concern. It’s time to make our voices heard. We must fight back against Trump's unprecedented power grab.
Few, if any, elected officials in either party think or operate independently — outside of blind and narrow-minded partisanship. The MAGA base has its policy questions and solutions all pre-determined, and the far-right politicians bully others to keep everyone in their party in line to parrot Trump's mind controlling and brainwashing rhetoric. They would have you believe that you're either with them and you're righteous, or you’re with the Democrats and you're contemptible. But this is not Republicans vs. Democrats. It's not about partisanship. It's much bigger and more important than that. It's democracy vs. autocracy — freedom vs. dictatorship.
John Halpin summarized it accurately. He said, "When it comes to the most ardent supporters and media cheerleaders of the two parties out in the American wild, there is almost no common factual basis for issue debates or even mutual agreement to analyze neutral information and discuss various matters facing the nation with other citizens in a productive manner. There’s no calm and measured evaluation of different paths forward, no room for trial and error or policy adjustments. Scant effort is put forth by partisan supporters to debate issues honestly with other people and force a more harmonious course of action from America’s political parties. The partisan’s goal is to see their side benefit from issue fights while hurting the other side, not finding agreeable compromises for mutual benefit."
Truer words were never spoken. Both political parties are out to discredit and destroy the other, and ultimately our precious democracy is being destroyed in the process.
If you despise this current state of partisan politics, but love your country and genuinely care about what happens to your fellow Americans, what are you supposed to do? Seriously. What is a possible way out for a truly independent citizen?
No one has the full answer, but Halpin has a two-part stab at a different course of action. See what you think.
Step one—Accept reality
Arguing about the fact that Trump is president and is mostly doing what he said he would do, good or bad, achieves nothing. Raging on social media and “fighting” heatedly about Trump is basically no better than yelling at the clouds. If you don’t like what he’s doing, convince more people to vote for Democrats in 2026 and 2028. If you do like it, enjoy the ride and convince more people to stick with the president and Republicans in future elections. If you don’t care either way, tune out politics and get on with other things in life. Partisan politics at the national level is a dead end.
Step two—Pursue non-partisan citizenship
Freeing your mind from partisanship offers tremendous liberation from politically induced anxiety, confusion, and excessive online behavior. If you stop caring one way or another about what the two parties say or do — and instead focus on what you think the best course of action should be on a particular issue given the evidence and available social and economic tools — you are free to be a citizen in a whole new way. Most importantly, you are free to look at national issues without any preconceived partisan framework. By not accepting enforced party lines on the biggest issues locally and nationally, you can escape the mindless conformity of Republican and Democratic politics and approach civic life as a concerned American. Focus on what’s best for your own family and the country, regardless of what the two parties tell you to think and do — citizenship without partisanship.

Let's take a look at Trump's empty campaign promises. Jeff Nesbit, the public affairs chief for five Cabinet departments under four presidents, took a closer look. These are promises (a.k.a. lies) which Trump's MAGA cult members believed when they decided to vote for him.
These are the FACTS:
Trump's biggest promise before election day 2024—the promise that got him elected president—was that he’d bring the cost of things like groceries, cars, homes and other essential consumer goods down immediately. Trump lied!
Today, the cost of one of the most basic staples of the American diet — eggs — is now 50% higher than it was on election day 2024. Trump lied!
The cost of buying a home is now higher for everyone in America than it was at the end of the Biden administration. Interest rates for 30-year fixed loans were at 6.25% on Election Day 2024. Today, the current average 30-year fixed mortgage interest rate is 6.71%, and inching back up toward 7%. Trump lied!
Under President Biden's administration, the average price of a gallon of gas had fallen to $3.05 by election day. Gas prices started rising again in January, Trump’s first month in office, with the average price hitting $3.16 in February. Trump lied!
According to Kelley Blue Book, the average price for a new car in the United States in July 2024, during the Biden administration, was $48,401, and car prices had been falling for a year by then. But during Trump’s first month in office, the average new car buyer in America paid $49,740, close to an all-time high. Truck prices jumped $20,000 as soon as Trump threatened tariffs on steel imports. Trump lied!
Trump's tariffs on the European Union and China in 2018 and 2019 resulted in a net loss to the US economy of $16 billion annually, including more than $114 billion in losses to American companies and consumers. Trump's 2025 tariffs are set to eclipse those losses exponentially, predominantly paid for by the working class and the poor, while the people who will benefit most from another giant Trump tax cut are America’s wealthy. Trump lied!
Trump also promised to end the war between Russia and Ukraine in one day. Trump lied!
The inflation rate for all items, including food and energy, in September 2024 under President Biden was 2.4%. In February, under Trump, it’s now back up to 2.8%. Trump lied!
Trump claimed the economy was going to get better. The stock market has already lost 10% of its value since unfit and incompetent Trump took office. So your retirement savings have evaporated to the tune of 10% so far in the last 59 days. Trump lied!
Trump promised that he would lower the cost of things for average Americans when he came back into power. Instead, he has set out to destroy the federal government, threatened media outlets, paved the way for tax cuts for billionaires, harassed higher education with endless culture wars and budget threats, and simply lost the plot on consumer prices. Trump lied!
Mindless MAGA cult voters believed all of Trump’s boasts, brags and promises and were fully expecting that things would be better and brighter now in America. Well, they aren't. Trump lied! Trump is not a leader — he's a LIAR and a LOSER! The convicted felon ran for president again for one reason — to keep his sorry ass out of prison, where he belongs.

Yes, I'm hateful!
Longtime pastor and activist John Pavlovitz penned an interesting article that I agree with entirely. I both echo and applaud his sentiments, so that makes me hateful. This is it:
Yesterday, a Trump supporter told me I was hateful. He was surprised when I agreed with him.
For a long time, when confronted on social media or in person by a stranger or a family member with similar allegations, I passionately refuted them. I immediately mounted a fierce defense of my position, offering inarguable evidence proving that they'd mislabeled, misrepresented, or misunderstood me.
I don't do that any longer. Now, I simply admit that they are right because they are. I am a hateful human being.
- I hate waking up every morning and seeing that we're in another unnecessary and preventable Constitutional crisis.
- I hate channeling the adrenaline to confront a new onslaught of real and manufactured emergencies each day.
- I hate appealing to public servants to do the decent and humane thing and seeing them flatly refuse.
- I hate trying to convince professed followers of Jesus that they're supposed to care about other people.
- I hate dancing through minefields at family gatherings, doing verbal gymnastics to sidestep relational explosions, and working so hard to keep loving people I've recently learned unsettling things about.
- I hate scrolling through racist, anti-LGBTQ, anti-immigrant, and anti-Semitic hate speech filling my social media mentions and neighborhood online message boards.
- I hate being reminded daily of the white supremacy that my former church friends are so terribly afflicted with.
- I hate seeing stories of newly-emboldened bigots showing up as neighbors, elementary school teachers, local politicians, and coffee shop patrons—because they feel they once again have a kindred embittered spirit in the White House.
- I hate boastful, nonsensical, intentionally provocative social media posts littered with Democrat slander, wall-building taunts, and abject lies.
- I hate that sick people have to choose between getting well and paying their mortgages.
- I hate that we have a bloated Military and a starving citizenry.
- I hate that LGBTQ teenagers can't simply live in peace because of their peers, their pastors, and their politicians.
- I hate that we have a felon-rapist president and an unelected, unstable billionaire deciding our fates.
- And I hate the Right’s mockery of empathy, their open contempt for immigrants, their embracing of fascism, their perversion of Christianity, their violent resistance to diversity, their strident, anti-science ignorance, their death cult of a sociopath, their never-ending grievances.
I believe good and loving people should despise bigotry and discrimination.
They should be sickened by the denial of people's inherent humanity.
They should be disgusted at perversions of truth and distortions of facts.
They should be wholly pissed off watching our Republic being rapidly dismantled.
They should rage against the poverty of empathy we are living in.
They should have a ferocity for humanity that will not let them rest.
And if all of this leads me to be labeled divisive, confrontational, and hateful by a few, I'm going to rest in the knowledge that this is their problem, not mine.
Good people should hate the hatred this nation is poisoned by.

We have two words for Donnie Dum Dum!
The Hill reported that the Trump administration moved to reinstate around 24,500 probationary workers yesterday who were previously terminated under broad reduction-in-force efforts in recent weeks. The decision spans 18 agencies and follows court decisions that found that Trump violated procedural law in carrying out the firings. The long-term status of the group is unclear — the decisions have been appealed, and judges noted terminations are allowed if carried out according to law.
Last week, U.S. District Judge James Bredar, an appointee of former President Obama, ordered the mass reinstatement of fired probationary workers at 18 federal agencies after determining the government’s claims its terminations stemmed from “performance” issues “isn’t true.”
Bredar’s ruling followed a similar order by a federal judge based in San Francisco to reinstate those terminated at six agencies, after he determined the firings were illegal just hours prior.
So we have two words for you, Donnie: "Fuck you!"

U.S. Chief Justice Roberts rebukes Trump
Reuters reported that U.S. Chief Justice John Roberts rebuked Trump on Tuesday for urging the impeachment of a federal judge, laying bare tensions between the country's chief executive and the judiciary as Trump's sweeping assertions of power run into judicial roadblocks.
Roberts wrote: "For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision." He wrote that the correct response was to file an appeal.
Roberts' statement followed Trump's call in a social media post on Tuesday for the impeachment of Washington-based U.S. District Judge James Boasberg who ordered the administration to halt the removal of alleged Venezuelan gang members, which Trump has argued is authorized by an 18th-century law historically used only in wartime. Judge Boasberg had ordered a halt to all deportations carried out under the Alien Enemies Act, including turning around any planes already in transit. Two planes carrying hundreds of the alleged gang members were already in the air and were not returned, prompting accusations that Trump's administration had defied the court order.
Trump also called the judge a "Radical Left Lunatic." Trump's vile comments garnered support from his ignorant Republican MAGA cult members in Congress.
If anyone is a lunatic, it's Trump. And if anyone should be impeached and removed from office, it's Trump.

Democrats need new leadership NOW
Democrats need to raise up leaders right now who are willing to put up a fight against Trump's MAGA cult and his brainwashed lemmings — not merely post useless small talk on social media and then wait until the eleventh hour when it's too late. Democrats need to raise up the rising stars within the party who will immediately follow through with action — leaders who will ensure that the judicial rulings against Trump are followed through with prison time when Trump and his henchmen ignore those rulings. We need leaders who will organize the masses, protest in the streets against Trump's defiance of the Constitution, and form and create an ongoing and continuous media blast that exposes Trump for the traitor against America that he is. Democrats are not going to find these leaders among the aging septuagenarians like Chuck Schumer with his out-of-date flip phone who voted with the Republicans in last week's Senate vote on the government funding bill instead of filibustering to prolong debate and delay or prevent a vote on a bill that only increased Trump's power and leverage. Legislators like that aren't leaders — they're disgraceful. MAGA refers to these Democrats as "useful idiots."
We need Democratic leaders who will RESIST and DEFY Trump every step of the way starting NOW — who will put a wrench in Trump's autocratic agenda and reveal him as the mentally deficient, cognitively declining, malignant narcissist and dictator that he is, and reveal his agenda as the neo-Nazi fascist agenda that he copied from dictators like Hitler, Mussolini, and more recently, Hungary's Viktor Orbán. It's as much an undoing of the brainwashing and mind control techniques that Trump used on his MAGA cult as it is on exposing the real truth about Trump's destroying democracy.
Democracy can't wait four years until the next Democratic National Convention where the Democrats try to find some token candidate who hasn't been vetted and groomed and proven as the leader that can successfully oppose Trump's fascist agenda with double-digit leads in the polls instead of sitting on pins and needles, anxiously waiting for election counts from unreliable swing states. Based on Trump's incompetence and vindictiveness, the next election should be a shoe-in for the Democrats.

After a federal judge pressed the Trump administration to provide evidence by 5 pm yesterday about whether the White House had violated the court’s order in deporting migrants with little to no due process, so-called border czar Tom Homan said that flights would continue regardless. “We’re not stopping,” he said. “I don’t care what the judges think. I don’t care what the left thinks.”
This defiant fascist goon doesn't care what the judges think, so he should be sitting in Rikers Island prison until he does.
In our system, judges have the final say, not thugs like Homan, unless their rulings are appealed to the Supreme Court, in which case the high court’s majority has the final say. Period. End of story.

DEPORT TRUMP INSTEAD!
Trump deported hundreds of immigrants even as a judge ordered their removals be stopped. Trump has no respect for the law — so we have no respect for Trump — he is not deserving of any respect.
Trump transferred hundreds of immigrants to El Salvador, without evidence or hearing, under a 227-year-old wartime declaration from 1798 targeting Venezuelan gang members, officials said Sunday, even as a federal judge issued an order temporarily barring the deportations. One major problem: Congress has not declared war. Trump has not identified the immigrants deported, provided any evidence they are in fact members of the terrorist Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang, or that they committed any crimes in the United States. This was an act of a lawless president and his equally lawless goon squad.
U.S. District Judge James E. Boasberg issued an order Saturday temporarily blocking the deportations, but lawyers told him there were already two planes with immigrants in the air — one headed for El Salvador, the other for Honduras. Boasberg verbally ordered the planes be turned around, but they were not.
Trump’s allies and MAGA Maggots were gleeful over the results. “Oopsie…Too late,” Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele wrote on the social media site X above an article about Boasberg’s ruling.
Steve Vladeck, a professor at the Georgetown University Law Center, said that Trump clearly violated the “spirit” of the judge's order. Adam Isacson of the Washington Office for Latin America, a human rights group, said the deportations violated the U.S. Constitution requiring these deportees a chance to have their pleas heard in court — but Trump doesn't care one iota about the Constitution which he took a solemn oath to defend!
The major weapon of the Trump-Vance-Musk regime is fear that causes people to be intimidated into silence and submission. Trump's regime is using fear — of being deported, job loss, loss of federal contracts, loss of access to sources of news, of arrest and imprisonment — to intimidate potential critics.
This is what all tyrants do!
The free press will neither be intimidated nor silenced by Trump and his MAGA goons.

This week Dans confirmed what Democrats were saying all along and Trump himself denied: There really is almost no difference between Project 2025 and what Trump was planning all along and is now implementing.
Dans said, "We had hoped, those of us who worked putting together Project 2025, that the next conservative president would seize the day, but Trump is seizing every minute of every hour."
Just listen to Dan's bullshit rhetoric: "We are going on our 250th birthday here in a little over a year from now. And the last 100 years have been a great diversion from the enduring constitutional structure of this great American experiment in democracy. That is, we needed to undertake a restoration of democracy by slamming the door shut on the Progressive Era….The entire artifice of the federal government had been built over the last 100 years in essentially a very anti-democratic manner."
Dan continued, saying, "President Trump is the great communicator….what we had hoped would happen has happened. So I can’t imagine how anything could end really any better."

The Democratic Traitor
Chuck Schumer is a Democratic Traitor who can no longer be trusted to represent Democrats in Congress! He was responsible for the Democrats relenting and the US Senate passing a Republican funding bill Friday, acquiescing to Trump and giving the Republicans everything they wanted. Schumer is seen as a leader who’s out of date and refusing to change as politics changes radically around him — he's slowly being brainwashed into Trump's MAGA cult. Schumer squandered the little leverage Democrats have to defy Trump and his billionaire ally, Elon Musk, as they seek to dismantle large swaths of the federal government. This bill also protects Trump’s ability to raise or lower tariffs as he wishes, and gives him considerable leeway in deciding where money goes. In effect, it provides a "slush fund" for Trump and Musk. Ten Senate Democrats joined nearly all Republicans to advance the House-passed funding bill.
In addition to Chuck Schumer, Democrats who sided with the Republicans were Senators John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, Dick Durbin of Illinois, Catherine Cortez-Masto of Nevada, Gary Peters of Michigan, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Brian Schatz of Hawaii, both senators from New Hampshire, Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Shaheen, and Angus King, an independent of Maine who caucuses with Democrats. These are the senators to vote against in the next election.
Up until the time of the vote on Friday evening, House Democrats were urging their Senate counterparts to block the bill they fear would embolden Trump and Musk’s overhaul of the U.S. government.
Predictably, Trump praised Schumer’s decision.
“You don’t stop a bully by giving him your lunch money, and you don’t stop tyrant Trump by giving him more power. The Republican spending bill is a blank check for Trump, giving him enormous flexibility to spend your tax dollars only on the programs he likes, and only in the states he wants to,” said Senator Jeff Merkley of Oregon.
Former House speaker Nancy Pelosi called the bill a “devastating assault on the wellbeing of working-class families.”
Minority leader Hakeem Jeffries also lambasted the spending bill, calling it “an attack on veterans, families, seniors and everyday Americans.”
Longtime Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders — an independent who caucuses with the Democrats — called the situation “an absolute failure of Democratic leadership.”
California Senator Adam Schiff called it “a bad day for our country – and for the Democratic Party.”
Democrats will now have to contend with a furious, divided base in addition to the MAGA cult.

Trump's former spiritual advisor is also a sexual predator
"The apple doesn't fall far from the tree," said Ralph Waldo Emerson in 1839.
Trump was convicted as a sexual abuser by a jury of his peers in the case brought against him by E. Jean Carroll. Now Trump's former spiritual advisor, Robert Morris, the founding pastor of Texas’ Gateway megachurch, was indicted for lewd acts with a child. Morris faces five counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child, the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office said.
Ironically, in 2017, Morris was tapped by Gov. Greg Abbott to help support the so-called “Bathroom Bill” that sought to ban transgender people from using their preferred bathroom — in part by arguing that it would allow children to be sexually abused.
During Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, Morris was among at least three other Dallas-area religious leaders who served on Trump’s evangelical advisory board. And in 2021, Morris was part of an effort to mobilize conservatives and evangelicals ahead of Trump’s 2024 presidential bid.

Democratic Senators: Your choice is very simple
Let's break this down to its lowest common denominator so it's easy to understand: If you vote to support Trump's continuing resolution to keep the government open, thereby allowing unelected tech billionaire Elon Musk and his DOGE team to continue shuttering government programs, we will vote to end your career as a senator when your term expires. We are watching how you vote!
Stated as simply as we can state it: Siding with Trump is supporting an American TRAITOR. We need Democrats to grow a backbone and put up real resistance to the Trump administration.
Don't give Republicans a blank check to continue doing everything they've been doing — including wrecking the country illegally by shutting down every part of the federal government they don't like.
Former federal prosecutor Eric Lisann wrote, "Republicans are stooges but they have imposed party discipline. Democratic leadership has been soft and ineffective and is responsible for allowing Trump to run roughshod over this husk of a Congress. They are part of the problem, not of the solution."
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said to Speaker Mike Johnson, who claimed that Democrats are to blame for the potential government shutdown: “You run the government. If you have the votes, then go ahead. If you need Democrats, then you need to negotiate with Democrats. Those are your two options. Blaming someone else because your shoes are untied isn’t one.”
Before Trump took office, the American economy was the strongest of any economically developed country in the world. The S&P 500 index is now down 10.1 percent from a peak that was reached less than one month ago. Trump’s policies are causing consumers to spend less and discouraging businesses from investing. That reticence could drive the economy into a downturn and possible recession. The blame for the falling market in the United States today can be laid squarely at the feet of Trump, with the tariff war he instigated and the sweeping cuts he has made to United States government employment. A single incompetent and mentally deficient man is crippling the United States economy, and the Democrats are doing nothing about it.
A falling stock market and a contracting economy are not good things, as the inept Republicans would have us believe. Trump is neither a leader nor an astute businessman. He is winging it, bullshitting everyone into thinking he has a plan that can work. Trump has no plan, and what he's doing is not working. It's time for Trump to be ousted.

When will the next uprising occur in the United States?
The last one was Trump's insurrection on January 6, 2021, when our nation's Capitol building was attacked by an unruly mob of Trump supporters in an attempt to invalidate your vote and mine. If he lives long enough, we predict that the next rebellion — citizens uprising or revolt — will occur during Trump's term. The citizens of this country will not stand for the dissolution of their precious democracy by a mentally deficient, vindictive, and retaliatory malignant narcissist on a path toward autocracy and totalitarianism.
Don't ever forget the successful storming of the Bastille in 1789, when the armory and fortress, which was seen as a symbol of the monarchy's royal tyranny and abuse of power, was seized by fewer than a crowd of a thousand, and the governor of the Bastille, Bernard-René Jourdan de Launay, and several members of his garrison were killed. In the weeks that followed, there were attacks on wealthy landlords who sided with the evil monarchy's abuse of power. Let a lesson be learned from history, as history tends to repeat itself.
Trump is a domestic terrorist, an insurrectionist, a convicted felon, and an evil neo-Nazi and neofascist, and he will eventually be put down and removed by the citizens of the United States. Authoritarians are cowards who only succeed by instilling fear. We have no fear of Trump — he is a mentally deficient and cognitively declining man-child. The how and when of Trump's removal have not yet been written into the next chapter in history, but we feel that if Trump continues on his path of destroying democracy, abandoning his oath to uphold the Constitution, alienating America's allies, and cozying up to the world's dictators, it is a certainty that this worthless, twice-impeached man-child will either resign in disgrace when he realizes that he's going to be forcibly removed, as Nixon did, or else be removed by an act of Congress when it enforces the 25th Amendment, which is more likely. The rule by this cowardice man-child will then finally be over. Trump is only an unfortunate speed bump in the annals of history.
Even Trump's most brainwashed loyalists in his cult will realize that their time in office is short unless they turn against him and support the democratic ideals on which America was founded.

Robert Reich wrote, "Trump is siding with Putin and against America’s traditional allies and Ukraine. He’s causing the stock and bond markets to plummet. He and Musk are destroying large swaths of the federal government, and Musk is now even threatening Social Security. Trump is arresting and deporting permanent residents who say things he doesn’t approve of. He’s ignoring laws he doesn’t like and threatening to defy court orders he doesn’t agree with. The Supreme Court would repudiate him. A president’s own party might disavow him. Respected leaders of business, academia, and the media would call for a president’s resignation."

A Senator from France calls Washington the "Court of Nero"
Claude Malhuret, a French lawyer and senator, voiced words that are chillingly relevant to what is now happening in the United States. Malhuret is also an epidemiologist, and the former head of Doctors Without Borders.
Washington has become the court of Nero, an incendiary emperor, submissive courtiers, and a jester high on ketamine in charge of purging the civil service. This is a tragedy for the free world, but it is first and foremost a tragedy for the United States. Trump’s message is that there is no point in being his ally since he will not defend you, he will impose higher tariffs on you than on his enemies and will threaten to seize your territories while supporting the dictatorships that invade you.
Never before in history has a U.S. President surrendered to the enemy. Never has any one of them supported an aggressor against an ally, trampled on the U.S. Constitution, issued so many illegal executive orders, dismissed judges who could have prevented him from doing so, dismissed the military senior staff in one fell swoop, weakened all checks and balances, and taken control of social media. The king of the deal is showing that the art of the deal is lying prostrate. Trump thinks he will intimidate China by capitulating to Russian President Vladimir Putin, but China’s President Xi Jinping, faced with such wreckage, is undoubtedly accelerating his plans to invade Taiwan.
This is not an illiberal drift, it is the beginning of the confiscation of democracy.
The stock market continued to fall yesterday because of Trump. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell another 478 points. Trump is doubling down on the policies that are crashing the economy. In addition to his tariff threats, he also reiterated that “the only thing that makes sense is for Canada to become our cherished Fifty First State.” Trump is a delusional psychopath who needs to be removed from office.
The people of America will stop Trump and Musk, his lemming, one way or another, in order to save democracy.

Donnie "Dum Dum" Trump has no clue what he's doing
Recall that Trump was elected largely because Americans thought the economy was lousy and believed him when he said he’d fix it. The truth is that America was in a 5-year economic boom until clueless Trump came along this past January. Yesterday, on Trump's watch, the Dow fell 890 points — the largest single-day decline since December. The S&P 500, which tracks the stocks of 500 of the largest companies listed in the U.S., fell by 2.7%. The Nasdaq Composite, which tracks tech stocks, fell by 4%. Thank you for nothing, Donnie Dum Dum, you incompetent slug!
Layoffs are mounting, hiring is slowing, consumer confidence is eroding, treasury yields are falling, and inflation is picking up speed. Trump's economic "policy" (oh, Trump has a policy?) is exacerbating those problems. The cost of living — the single biggest problem identified by consumers over the last several years — is going up, not down, under Trump.
Trump’s vindictive immigration crackdown threatens key industries, including agriculture, construction and health care, which have been struggling to hire. And steep cuts to federal workers and government aid could hurt the most vulnerable Americans who are least insulated from price hikes. As a result of Trump's incompetence, all of our hard-earned retirement funds are losing value — hear that FACT, MAGA.
Even before this Trump slump, only the richest 10 percent of Americans had enough purchasing power to keep the economy going with their spending. The bottom 90 percent — including most of Trump's ignorant voters — were barely getting by. The next eighteen months could be rough on millions of people if Trump causes a recession.
Yesterday, the Canadian province of Ontario raised prices on electricity exported to the US states yesterday, adding a 25% surcharge to power transmissions to New York, Michigan, and Minnesota. Ontario Premier Doug Ford said the move was in response to ongoing tariff threats from the Trump administration. Retaliatory tariffs from China on U.S. agricultural imports kicked in yesterday, with Beijing placing 10% to 15% duties on products ranging from pork and beef to soybeans. So now it's reciprocal tariffs as a result of Trump's utter incompetence.
At the same time, Trump’s mental acuity is slipping. James Fallows noted in Breaking the News after Trump’s speech to Congress that Trump’s vocabulary has shrunk markedly since his first term and he appears to be falling back on “more primitive and predictable” phrases. His repetitive speech is a bad sign. Trump is in serious cognitive decline. He needs to be removed from office, and the sooner the better.
In short, Donnie Dum Dum has no clue what he's doing. He's only a convicted felon avoiding a long prison sentence by bullshitting his way into office with lies and empty promises.
While all of this is happening, your cowardly, chickenshit Republican legislators across the country are HIDING — afraid to attend town halls across the country, canceling appearances with their constituents, not taking phone calls, etc.

UNHINGED & UNQUALIFIED!
Let's state the FACT again for the naïve and gullible MAGA crowd: Trump is both UNHINGED and UNQUALIFIED.
Yesterday Trump refused to rule out the possibility that the U.S. economy will head into recession this year and that inflation will rise, as his chaotic trade tariffs policy cause uncertainty and market turbulence. This is not happening by chance — it's happening entirely because of the incompetence of Trump, the unhinged dictator occupying the White House.
Trump downplayed the recent stock market volatility that followed his ducking and weaving over tariff policy on exports from Canada, Mexico, China, and similar threats to other countries. Trump is a fool. He doesn't understand tariffs, but slapping on tariffs to hurt the American people is all he knows how to do.
Last week the Atlanta Federal Reserve suggested that the U.S. economy is on course to contract in the first quarter, triggering fears of a recession that could hit the world’s largest economy if weakness persisted and fueling stock market jitters. But Trump doesn't care about regular, everyday Americans because he's raking in billions for his billionaire buddies.
Musk and his DOGE team are not actually promoting savings and efficiency: if they were, they would have brought auditors and would be working with the inspectors general that Trump fired and the Government Accountability Office that is already in place to streamline government. Rather than looking for savings and efficiency, DOGE, working under Trump's directive, is simply working to zero out the government that works for ordinary people, turning it instead to enabling them to consolidate wealth and power.
Senator Elizabeth Warren wrote, "Unelected billionaire Elon Musk and his co-president Donald Trump think this country should work for billionaires and everyone else should just bow down."
By the way, while asshole Trump is busy cutting departments, budgets, and federal employees, his insistence on playing golf at his Florida courses has now cost American taxpayers more than $18 million since he regained the presidency. This is a wasteful expense of taxpayers' money.
It's time to get rid of both Trump and Musk! Oligarchs out, democracy in.

Reasons for optimism….
The Trump administration itself is a national emergency as well as a national embarrassment.
But there are reasons for optimism:
- The courts are stepping up their fight against Trump's dictatorial regime. Lower federal courts are now considering over 80 separate lawsuits against the Trump regime. So far, the vast majority of lower-court rulings have been against Trump.
- Musk and Trump Republicans are seen to be targeting Social Security. Social Security is the most popular of all government programs. By demeaning and threatening Social Security, Musk is touching the proverbial “third rail” of American politics. Good. Let Trump and other Republicans try to wiggle out of this one.
- DOGE’s credibility is shot. Musk’s group claims to have saved taxpayers $65 billion so far. But DOGE has itemized only its cancellations of contracts and leases, totaling about $10 billion, and The New York Times found that many of these so-called “cancelled” contracts had actually ended under previous presidents, not under Trump. So far, DOGE has saved the government just $2 billion. That comes to 1/35 of 1 percent of the federal budget. That means that DOGE is a failure. Musk is proving to be a liability for Trump. It’s only a matter of time before Trump gets rid of him.
- Republican lawmakers are forcing Trump to reduce Musk’s power. This past Thursday, Trump convened his Cabinet and told them they’re in charge of their departments, not Musk. Musk can only make recommendations to the departments but not issue unilateral decisions on staffing and policy.
- Republicans are hiding from their constituents. Republican lawmakers are facing scenes of frustration and outrage in theirs districts, getting booed in town halls, and simply not even showing up for them. GOP leaders are now discouraging Republican lawmakers from holding in-person town halls.
- The economy is taking a nosedive. This is optimistic because a growing number of Trump voters are finally suffering buyer’s remorse. They are finally seeing the light. They voted for him because they thought he’d fix the economy. Instead, the economy is taking a nosedive. Trump and his wealthy campaign backers consider the stock market their measure of success or failure, and it's failing under Trump. Consumer spending is falling sharply under Trump. The political fallout is clear: Trump came into office being relatively popular. Now more Americans disapprove of him than approve, including nearly 60 percent of independents.
- The stock market’s slide has forced Trump to back down on his tariffs. Bottom line: The stock market is stopping Trump from doing his worst.
- Trump and Republicans are accepting a continuation of Biden’s spending levels. The troubling economic headwinds are also pushing Trump Republicans to avoid a government shutdown, which would further worsen the economy. Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson are urging Republicans to accept a stopgap bill that would keep federal dollars flowing at current levels through the end of the fiscal year on September 30. This would maintain spending at levels enacted under former President Joe Biden and would not include the cuts being made by Musk’s DOGE — a major surrender by Republicans.
- Europe is coming together against Trump.
- Democrats are finally showing some spine, and it's about damn time. Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee are asking the District of Columbia’s bar association to investigate Ed Martin, the interim U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, whom Trump has nominated to be permanent U.S. attorney — charging that Martin has “abused” prosecutorial power to threaten his political opponents. Asking bar associations to investigate Trump nominees is a good means of circumventing Trump’s Republican lackeys in holding people responsible. We must continuously push back against the far-right extremism that is being relentlessly unleashed on the American people.

If you support MAGA, you're not Christian!
That seems like a bold statement to make, but it's absolutely true. You can proclaim your Christianity all you want, but the logic doesn't follow. The posting below is taken from the substack published by John Pavlovitz, longtime pastor, author, speaker, and activist.
When faced with the teachings of Jesus, the venom the MAGA crowd responds with is like vampires to daylight. We feel sorry for them, as they're coming face to face with the sobering reality that their MAGA beliefs are completely inconsistent with the teachings of Jesus. They aren't hearing that news from us — they're hearing it right from Jesus. There are few things that confound and infuriate Conservative Christians quite like the simple, clear, unadorned words of Jesus as documented in the Bible — words that they so loudly and frequently claim to love, believe in, and live by.
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." (Matthew 5:9)
When you're part of an antagonistic movement built almost exclusively on a self-righteous battle posture; on a theology and politics that require an enemy, an adversary, an encroaching danger, a culture war foe to be brutally defeated — the idea of being a peacemaker really pisses you off. MAGAs don't like peace. They refuse to coexist with it.
"Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me." (Matthew 25:45)
The poor, the outcast, the hurting, the hungry, the homeless, the lonely. Jesus said he literally inhabits the most vulnerable among us, and that the way we treat them is the way we treat Jesus himself. That's a really disturbing reality for the MAGA movement that spends so much of its time denying people healthcare, cutting social programs, assaulting voting rights, and legislatively attacking people for their sexuality or their nation of origin or their pigmentation. The news that (according to Jesus), you’re devoting a great deal of your life to treating him like garbage — tends not to be received too well by the MAGA crowd. But if the shoe fits, wear it.
"For God so loved the world…" (John 3:16)
The world. God loves the world. That includes the planet, the climate around it, the resources within it, the disparate humanity and expansive life upon it. No MAGA "America First" or "Make America Great Again" movements. No "Go back where you came from" nationalistic bluster. No "Don't Tread on Me" middle-finger defiance. If you so love the world as God does, you fight for diversity, you welcome immigrants and foreigners, you demand environmental responsibility, you want more people to have voices, not fewer. The MAGA movement opposes God.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37-39)
Loving your neighbor. Jesus says unequivocally that this is the priority and the point, and the way we show our love for God: the way we treat other human beings. When Conservative Christians realize that this includes their Muslim neighbor, their transgender neighbor, their Jewish neighbor, their Liberal neighbor, their uninsured neighbor, their undocumented neighbor, their black neighbor — they usually don't react very well. There is no hate like Christian love. When you aren't able or willing to practically or tangibly extend love to such a vast portion of your neighbors in any meaningful way, that is a difficult theological pill to swallow.
Literally nothing is as MAGA as watching a bunch of self-righteous frauds who pretend to give a damn about Christianity viciously attacking a minister preaching about caring for the vulnerable (i.e. Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde) at the national prayer service in Washington, D.C. while their rapist-felon "messiah" (i.e. Trump) condescendingly scoffs at her.
We feel sorry for people who want to be both Christian and MAGA. MAGA and Christianity are diametrically opposed to one another. These people think they can be devoted to Jesus and to Trump simultaneously. They labor under the false assumption that their bastardized, territorial, self-centered white nationalist GOP version of Christianity is remotely of God.
So, MAGA friends out there, we're not saying this white Republican theocracy built on power, exclusion, and subjugation that you're tethered to is anti-Jesus, and that you’re failing him by worshipping someone like Trump, the dictator.
Bishop Budde isn’t saying that, either.
Jesus is saying that.
If you have a problem with that, take it up with Him.

Trump has no clue
This past week, Trump had the gall to deliver a bloated, meandering, fallacy-riddled speech of broken promises to the joint session of Congress. Trump's speech was sick, filled with lie after lie, and only magnified how mentally sick he really is.
Trump promised over and over during his campaign that grocery and home prices would be going down. He lied. Instead, they are going up, not down – and Trump hasn’t laid out a credible plan to deal with either.
Trump's tariffs on allies like Canada will raise our prices on energy, lumber, cars – and start a trade war that will hurt manufacturing and farmers.
Trump can't do math. Our premiums and prescriptions will cost more because the math on Trump's proposals doesn’t work without going after our health care.
Trump is causing the national debt to go up, not down. Trump could walk us right into a recession.
Trump may come after our retirement benefits — the Social Security, Medicare, and VA benefits we already worked our whole lives to earn. Remember, Elon Musk, Trump's unelected immigrant lapdog, already called Social Security “the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time.”
Trump is a blowhard. For all of his talk, Trump still hasn’t sent a bill that would fix the immigration system. That's because he doesn't have a f*cking clue — Trump has no plan and no agenda other than Project 2025, the neo-Nazi fascist plan created for him.
Trump likes to brag about what a savvy businessman he is. Well, it's another of his lies. In reality, Trump is unscrupulous, irresponsible, incompetent, crooked — and a failure who has filed for bankruptcy six times. On nearly a half dozen occasions, Trump ran a billion-dollar endeavor into the ground, leaving in his wake thousands of devastated employees and unpaid creditors and then jumping ship without personal accountability of any kind. With each financial implosion, Trump has shielded himself and his family, leaving everyone else to clean up his mess. Trump is running America like his businesses: right into the ground.
Trump has neither the capacity nor the intelligence nor the aspiration to lead our nation, to honor its Constitution, or to represent its citizens. He couldn't care less about morality. He has no interest in dignity or decency or nobility befitting the Office — Trump is a maggot — America is nothing but another host organism to him.
Democracy requires that the people take action, not that we wait for our spineless, elected leaders to tell us what to do. Stay engaged, hold officials accountable (i.e. Watch how they’re voting; go to town halls and demand they take action), resist Trump at every turn, and organize against him.

How I feel about YOU……
John Pavlovitz, longtime pastor, current author, speaker, activist and storyteller, said it best in his substack, so we'll re-post portions of it below.
To the people I know who voted for him, you know how I feel about him.
I’ve never hid my contempt for him, never pulled punches in declaring with great specificity why I have so vehemently opposed him. You’ve seen the precise detail I have gone into over the past decade in inventorying why I have been so steadfast in resisting him and his movement.
There’s nothing I could say about him here that you don’t already know.
But as this next chapter of our nation begins, I just want you to know something I feel about you:
I am going to hold you responsible:
for every vile and disgusting thing he says,
for every way he perverts our systems,
for every reprehensible decision he makes,
for every human being whose life he makes a living hell,
for every immigrant he rounds up in hospital beds and churches,
for every legislative assault on the rights of women and LGBTQ people, the poor, and the elderly,
for every economic catastrophe he generates,
for every international conflict he enflames,
every public health emergency he exacerbates,
every natural disaster he weaponizes.
You chose this.
You chose him.
For likely the third time, you had a chance to reject his vitriol, to condemn his criminality, to prevent his lawlessness, to denounce his bigotry — and you flat-out refused. More than that, you celebrated it. That’s not something I can quietly abide.
You’re not some faceless statistic who is part of a theoretical voting block or a nondescript, red-hatted member of a jeering mob or a single number in some exit poll. You’re someone I’ve shared life with, shared holiday tables with, worked alongside, grew up with. I know who you are, at least who I thought you were, and so this is personal for me.
And no matter how you’ve chosen to justify your allegiance to him, ultimately you made your decision, and quite frankly, I have lost the respect for and the affinity I had with you. There is a divide between us now that will never be completely removed.
We may share history and memories but we do not share elemental values, and that’s something I won’t simply accept because this isn’t about some relatively benign topics we can agree to disagree on. This is about our fundamental values, our core moral principles, and our dealbreakers on how other human beings should be treated. This is about tens of millions of flesh-and-blood human beings who will be visited by adversity, injury, sorrow, and death because of the choice you made.
I’m telling this to you now, because we probably aren’t going to be talking as much in the coming months and this will be by design. I will be spending my time more judiciously moving forward, and I don’t believe in wasting any of the fleeting moments I have left here in pretending or performing or in feigning connection when that connection has been irreparably harmed by your affiliation with him.
And when we do see one another, there will likely be lots of talking around the real stuff: lots of surface-level conversations about the weather and sports, but just know that I will not be letting you off the hook for any of the horrors ahead.
You might label this all as petty or judgmental or hateful, but honestly I’m really not concerned with what you think because you’ve proven yourself to have fairly terrible discernment and questionable morals.
Though you’ll likely contend so, I’m not a hateful, bitter, or unforgiving human being. I’m just someone who has a clear understanding of what matters to me in this life, and I believe in holding adults accountable for the irresponsible decisions they make, the due diligence they avoid, the discrimination they perpetuate, the suffering they turn away from, the violence they nurture, and the ugliness they ratify. I don’t wish you ill will or hope for tragedy to befall you, even if it may come from the very man you’ve given power to. I want the same peace of for you that I want for every other person on the planet.
But by voting for him you have declared how little we have in common, how small our shared ground of agreement is, and how different the visions of this nation we share.

Internal dissension surfaces in Trump's cult
Let the games begin. Trump's shit show is on full display. There is dissent within the ranks.
There is a mounting backlash in Trump's own administration after some cabinet members told US federal workers to ignore Musk’s demand that they write an email justifying their work. Newly confirmed cabinet officials, including the FBI director, Kash Patel, and Tulsi Gabbard, the national intelligence director, told underlings not to comply with a weekend order from Musk for all staff to send an email detailing their past week’s work by midnight on Monday or face termination.
As other government departments added to the pushback, the office of personnel management (OPM) issued a statement advising employees to respond but removed Musk's firing threat, while giving agency heads the authority to excuse staff from Musk’s demand.
Then wishy-washy Trump added further to the confusion regarding Musk’s demand for an emailed response while talking to reporters in the Oval Office. “It’s somewhat voluntary,” he said, but added that “if you don’t answer, I guess you get fired.”
You "guess," Little Donnie?
Intelligence-related bodies, including the FBI, CIA and the National Security Agency, argued that employees could risk divulging classified information if they complied with Musk's demand. There was also resistance from other agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security and the Pentagon – both run by key Trump loyalists Kristi Noem and Pete Hegseth respectively, and which told employees not to respond. The Department of Justice told its staff that they need not do so “due to the sensitive and confidential nature of the department’s work.” The Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) – headed by one of Trump’s most contentious appointees, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., told workers to be vague if they wished to answer.
Be vague? You mean "lie" like Trump, the "practice president," does every time he opens his mouth?
Despite the backlash, Musk took Trump’s comments as a signal to again threaten workers with the sack.
"Stupid is as stupid does" (Forrest Gump). A person's actions, rather than their appearance or intellect, are the true indicator of their intelligence. Can anyone find even a glimmer of intelligence between the combined brains of Trump and Musk? Absolutely not; didn't think so.
While Trump's DOGE team is out eliminating critical departments and cutting jobs, Trump wasted about $10.7 million in taxpayer money playing golf during his first month in office. That's REAL WASTE. We say "cut out the president."
Never forget this FACT: More Americans voted for someone other than Trump than voted for him. National Republican Congressional Committee chair Richard Hudson (R-NC) told House Republicans in a closed-door conference this week to stop holding town halls after several such events have turned raucous as attendees complained about the course of the Trump administration. The unpopularity of Trump's policies, which we predicted long before the election, is thankfully and finally starting to show across the country. This is yet another of Trump's neo-Nazi tactics: squelch the free press and citizens' free speech. Won't work — we are going to scream even louder and resist this fascist's rhetoric and tactics until we get rid of him and his MAGA cult.

Russian leaders created a false narrative to get voters to put them in power, where they could privatize public enterprises and monopolize the country’s wealth. Yesterday, billionaire Elon Musk, who Trump said in his speech to the joint session of Congress is in charge of the “Department of Government Efficiency” despite what the administration has told courts, said exactly the same thing, telling a technology conference that the government should privatize “as much as possible” and suggested that two of the top candidates for privatization are Amtrak and the United States Postal Service. Yesterday the Trump administration announced plans to cut 80,000 employees from the Department of Veterans Affairs in what Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) calls a plan to gut the agency and “then push to privatize the Department so they can fund tax cuts for billionaires.”
Jess Piper of The View From Rural Missouri notes that what seems to be a deliberate attempt to crash what was a booming U.S. economy when Trump took office, is a feature of the administration’s plan, not a bug. It creates “curated failure” that enables oligarchs to buy up the assets of the state and of desperate individuals for “rock-bottom prices.”

How to save Social Security — it's easy!
Instead of waiting for Musk and his bandits to play Robin Hood in reverse with Social Security, stealing from the poor to give to the already rich, there's a solution to fund Social Security for everyone for the rest of time.
Currently, the Social Security tax has a wage base limit. The wage base limit is the maximum wage that's subject to the tax for that year. For earnings in 2025, this base limit is $176,100.
Most people don't earn $176,100 in a single year, so that means that they pay Social Security tax on a full 100% of their incomes. Those who make more than $176,100 in a single year only pay into Social Security on the first $176,100 of their income, or $10,918. The current Social Security tax rate is 6.2%. This means those earning more than $176,100 pay far less percentage-wise than most of us, but get the same benefits.
Let's look at a real-world example to make it easier to understand.
If you make $176,100, you pay $10,918 into Social Security. Your tax is based on 100% of your income.
If you make $1 million, you still only pay $10,918 into Social Security, but that tax is based on only 17.61% of your income!
If the wage base limit was removed and every taxpayer paid into Social Security on 100% of their income, those who currently make $1 million would pay $62,000 (i.e. the same 6.2%) instead of $10,918. Musk calls Social Security a "Ponzi scheme"
Elon Musk, Trump's temporary ass-kisser and Putin supporter, said that Social Security, the basis of the U.S. social safety net, is a “Ponzi scheme.” Musk provided no evidence whatsoever to back up his claims, and all of Musk's claims have invariably collapsed under scrutiny. Musk's baseless claim (i.e. outright lie) was then picked up by lying right-wing commentators online, primarily on Musk’s own X platform, as well as being reported by other pro-Trump media outlets. This is exactly how Trump's lies get spread to his MAGA cult members.
This past Friday, the Social Security Administration announced that it will consolidate the current ten regional offices it maintains into four and cut at least 7,000 jobs from an agency that is already at a 50-year staffing low. Erich Wagner of Government Executive reported that billionaire Elon Musk’s “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) team had canceled the leases for 45 of the agency’s field offices and is urging employees to quit.
Trump's acting commissioner of the Social Security agency, Leland Dudek, a MAGA Maggot and mid-level staffer who got his post after sharing sensitive information with DOGE, blamed former president Joe Biden for the cuts — notice how MAGA always blames someone else for its ineptitude! In contrast, Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) pointed out that the Social Security system currently delivers 99.7% of retirement benefits accurately and on time.
If you want to see a real Ponzi scheme, look no further than the crypto investments Musk and Trump have hyped. Trump’s new cryptocurrency, “$Trump,” soared and then crashed, just like every other Ponzi scheme. It generated enormous profits for insiders like Trump, but a cumulative $2 billion in losses for more than 800,000 other investors. Predictably, Trump claimed ignorance.

How to Resist Trump II
Robert Reich, former Secretary of Labor, professor, writer, and author of the daily substack at https://robertreich.substack.com/, posted an article titled, "What you can do | Ten ways to resist Trump II." We all must resist Trump, the traitor to America.
The following are his ten suggestions. We won't go into the detail of each one; you can read the detail yourself in his excellent posting at the link above.
- Protect the decent and hardworking members of your communities who are undocumented or whose parents are undocumented.
- Protect LGBTQ+ members of your community.
- Help protect officials in your community or state whom Trump and his administration are targeting for vengeance.
- Participate or organize boycotts of companies that are enabling the Trump regime, starting with Elon Musk’s X and Tesla, and any companies that advertise on X or on Fox News.
- To the extent you are able, fund groups that are litigating against Trump.
- Spread the truth.
- Urge friends, relatives, and acquaintances to avoid Trump propaganda outlets such as Fox News, Newsmax, X, and, increasingly, Facebook and Instagram.
- Push for progressive measures in your community and state.
- Encourage worker action.
- Keep the faith. Do not give up on America.
Don't give up the fights for social justice, equal political rights, equal opportunity, and the rule of law. The forces of Trumpian repression and neofascism would like nothing better than for us to give up. Then they’d win it all. We cannot allow them to.
We will never give up.

Trump is a worthless maggot!
Trump and his MAGA loyalists are saying that "efforts to stop disinformation" undermine their right to free speech. Trump and his cult of MAGA loyalists want to limit, skew, and then control what you hear. That's not going to happen. We in the free press will continue to stop all disinformation and "fake news" that is spewed forth from the far-right by revealing the true facts and the real news. Where do you get your news?
Maggots are worm-like organisms — parasites — that feed off of others and contribute little to nothing of their own in return. That describes Trump perfectly. Trump is a worthless maggot. This cannot even be argued, so don't waste your time or ours even trying. Facts are facts.
Instead of working in congruence with Congress, Trump is independently governing by executive order at a breakneck pace; more than 70 since Jan. 20, overloading the courts with legal challenges while JD Vance, his handpicked sycophant of a vice president, tells us the courts have no authority over the attorney general. No authority over the Attorney General? Only a dictator would say that. Trump's love for authoritarianism is making it clear that if he doesn’t like the law, he’ll just ignore it.
During his campaign, Trump continuously disavowed knowing about and lied that he wasn't associated with the far-right Heritage Foundation's Project 25, but the mask is off, and we now know that Trump nominated several architects of Project 2025 to have a key role in his administration, including Russ Vought, director of the Office of Management and Budget; Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff; Karoline Leavitt, White House Press Secretary; Brendan Carr, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC); and Tom Homan, Trump's border czar. The FACTS outweighed Trump's lies, and we now know that Project 25 was always intended to be Trump's master playbook, and now he's implementing that racist, homophobic, and misogynistic agenda through executive orders because the vindictive autocrat would never be able to do so by going legally through Congress.
Trump’s outburst at Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office this past Friday confirmed that Putin has been Trump's partner in politics since at least 2016. “Putin went through a hell of a lot with me,” Trump said. “He went through a phony witch hunt where they used him and Russia… Russia, Russia, Russia—you ever hear of that deal?—that was a phony Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, scam. Hillary Clinton, shifty Adam Schiff, it was a Democrat scam. And he had to go through that. And he did go through it, and we didn’t end up in a war. And he went through it. He was accused of all that stuff. He had nothing to do with it. It came out of Hunter Biden’s bathroom.” That was an odd and self-incriminating statement from a U.S. president, whose loyalty is supposed to be dedicated to the Constitution and the American people, and one where, in fact, Russian operatives worked to elect Trump in 2016. Trump also openly called for Russia to hack Hillary Clinton’s emails. Trump is a traitor. For Trump to have behaved the way he did this past Friday toward Zelenskyy, a brave leader and a courageous ally whose country is under unprovoked assault, is a national and international disgrace. FACT: Trump is loyal to Putin and a traitor to the United States of America. Heil, Vlad!
Trump is a man-child. He has the body of an aging septuagenarian who will soon become an octogenarian, but he's cognitively failing and has the mental capacity of a two-year-old. He's an incurable malignant narcissist who thrives on flattery, and will accept blame for nothing. He most certainly is not a leader; he's unfit for the job. Therefore, he surrounds himself with those who will flatter him. Currently, it's billionaire Elon Musk. Trump is flattered to have the world's richest man as his ass-kissing lapdog, and Musk, who is shrewd, knows exactly how to both please and play Trump to the fullest. How long that relationship will last is anyone's guess, but it certainly won't last. Once Trump casts Musk aside, he'll spend some time playing the blame game, but never accepting blame himself. Trump will then be flying blind, by the seat of his fat pants again, without a clue. To buy time and to test to see who his true loyalists are, he'll create fake national crises to divert attention away from his inability to lead, as he's done before with the likes of a border crisis, or unimportant diversions and figments of his imagination like taking over the Panama Canal, annexing Greenland, renaming Denali or the Gulf of Mexico — anything to take the nation's focus off his inability to lead and to find some other scapegoat to blame for something. Incidentally, but critically important, Trump didn't sit down to discuss the Panama Canal or Greenland with the respective countries' leaders — he just single-handedly "announced" that this is what he intends to do. He just dumped off immigrants in Columbia without first checking with the Columbian government — he just "announced" he was doing it after the fact, as though he has the ultimate authority. This is a dictator, not the president of a democracy.
Trump is not a leader; he was twice-impeached, is a convicted felon, a liar, a sexual abuser, a misogynist, an adulterer, and a traitor to the Constitution of the United States of America. Trump puts self over country.
Trump was too dumb to even author his own book. Tony Schwartz, the ghostwriter who actually authored it, has since called Trump a "sociopath" whose heroes are Putin, Mussolini, and Hitler.
Trump cheated his way out of the armed services by avoiding the draft five times. Democratic Senator Tammy Duckworth, a Purple Heart recipient, once called him "Cadet Bone Spurs" for getting a doctor to lie about his having bone spurs to avoid serving his country during one of the bloodiest years of the Vietnam War in 1968. Heel spurs can be cured by stretching, orthotics, or surgery. Trump said he never got surgery for the condition. But notice that Trump has no difficulty making his way around the golf course.
Trump caused an insurrection, an attempted self-coup, a riot, on Jan. 6, 2021, after his election defeat, in order to ultimately invalidate your vote and mine. The insurrection ultimately injured 174 police officers and killed five people, as well as causing over $2.7 billion in damage to our Capitol, but Trump called it a "peaceful protest" of "patriots." These weren't "patriots," they were "MAGA Maggots" brainwashed into the Cult of Trump. In addition to being a liar, Trump is delusional.
Over 1,500 traitors who took part in Trump's insurrection were charged with crimes and subsequently found to be guilty. Many were serving time in prison where they belong, but Trump pardoned these traitors, many of whom had criminal records that included rape and domestic violence.
In 1996, Trump sexually abused advice columnist E. Jean Carroll in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room. A jury of his peers found him guilty after deliberating for only three hours, and awarded Carroll $5 million. Jurors also separately found Trump liable for defaming Carroll over her allegations, and she was awarded $83.3 million in additional damages. Trump, the loser and now the convicted sexual abuser, immediately lashed out on his social media site, claiming that he does not know Carroll and referred to the verdict as “a disgrace” and “a continuation of the greatest witch hunt of all time.” Trump's mental incapacity makes him think that if he lies often enough, those lies will turn into truth. They won't.
Trump visualizes himself as a shrewd and competent businessman, but he is neither. Most of his businesses failed. He's filed for bankruptcy six times (1991: Trump's Taj Mahal; 1992: first of two Atlantic City Trump casinos; 1992: second of two Atlantic City Trump casinos; 1992: Trump Plaza Hotel in New York City; 2004: Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts; and 2009: Trump Entertainment Resorts). Other Trump businesses that have failed include the New Jersey Generals football team, Trump Shuttle, Trump University, Trump Vodka, Trump Mortgage, GoTrump.com, and Trump Steaks. And don't forget Trump's "God Bless the USA" Bibles, Trump Sneakers with an image of his bloodied face after his attempted assassination, and Trump's "America First" collection of $99 digital trading cards, Trump is a snake oil salesman, a grifter, and a LOSER.
What worked to get Trump elected won't work to keep him going in office. Trump doesn't have what it takes. He's unfit for office — he knows it and we all know it.
As we said at the top of this posting, Trump is a worthless maggot, and we need to get rid of maggots.
